Abstract: An expander for a waistband of a lower garment having a fly has a first section and a second section fixed with opposing ends of an elastic strap. With a button hole of the first section fixed with a button of the fly, and with a button of the second section fixed with a button hole of the fly, the waistband of the lower garment is expanded. A center section of the elastic strap may include a zipper pull fixing implement fixed with a zipper pull of a zipper of the fly to inhibit the zipper pull from dropping. An elongated cover strap may be fixed to the first section and include an attachment mechanism that allows the cover strap to be looped through one or more belt loops of the lower garment and folded over itself to cover the first section, center section, and second section.

Abstract: A diaper fastener is provided of the type having a substantially planar elastically extensible base member and three spaced hook units that have teeth operable to engage the fabric of a diaper in relevant zones thereof with the elastically extensible part stretched and operative to maintain the teeth in engagement with the diaper fabric to hold the diaper in its functional position. At least one of the hook units and generally all three are each composed of two parts that are permanently clipped together from opposite sides of the base member by inter-engaging formations. One of the parts has the hook teeth formed integral therewith and the two parts co-operate with the base member to physically locate the hook unit on the base member. Preferably, each hook unit is carried by an arm forming part of the planar base. Each hook unit has a hook part and a clamping part.

Abstract: A waist support frame for a detachment type waist protecting belt to hold the vertebra region of a vertebra related patient is provided. The frame is comprised of two back rest frames, two Y-shape hinges, two power modules, two pullers, two sets of strings each of them are engaged and connects on one part (upper- or lower-part) of the two power modules, and two set of broad bands. Each power module is equipped with twelve pair of pulling code conveying mini rollers. String arrangement through these twelve pair of rollers enables the inventor to provide a waist support frame that can be used by a user whose one hand is not available without rotating the frame around the user's body with only one hand.

Abstract: A clothes fastening system comprising an attachment member configured for attachment to a wearer's footwear where such attachment member has a first fastener attached thereto. A fastening mechanism is attached to the wearer's clothing where such fastening mechanism has a second fastener attached thereto. The first and second fasteners are detachably attached to each other thus preventing at least a portion of the wearer's clothing from dragging against the ground while the wearer is walking.

Abstract: A method of donning a support includes: positioning a garment proximate an area of a body; positioning a framework in abutment with the area of the body, the framework defining a plurality of permanent openings therein regardless of whether the support is donned; applying tension at points of the framework such that the framework is expanded and the framework is tensioned in its abutment with the area of the body, said step of applying tension being performed by pulling on one or more fastening components that are attached at one or more points to said framework; and affixing each of the fastening components to the garment while applying tension to the framework to secure the expanded framework in its forced abutment with the area of the body.

Abstract: An article of clothing that provides a means for keeping a glove or mitten on the hand (retention) while providing a barrier for the prevention of snow, moisture, or cold from contacting the hand, wrist or forearm area (thermal protection). More specifically, the device is an article of clothing comprising: an elongated tube of flexible and elastic material with a distal portion terminating in two discreet distal end openings and a proximal portion ending in one discreet proximal end opening; a first discreet distal end opening that is sized for four gloved fingers; a second discreet distal end opening that is sized for a gloved thumb; a means for expanding and contracting said proximal end opening; the contracting of said proximal end opening causing said elongated tube to compress on a user's wrist and forearm area.

Abstract: A muscle group isolation device for weightlifters, worn when performing weightlifting exercises primarily for the triceps and biceps to assist the weightlifter in maintaining proper arm position while exercising. The muscle group isolation device includes an elongated flexible strap with a fastening means to adjustably connect the two ends of the strap together and form a continuous loop.

Abstract: A waistband is disclosed herein for use in maintaining articles of clothing in place while being worn, and which includes a partial waistband having a clothes engaging adhesive on opposite sides thereof for removable, adhesive engagement with the clothing. A container is supplied for storage of said waistband when not in use.

Abstract: A jewelry article includes a plurality of beads and/or trinkets coupled together to form an elongated, flexible, decorative member having a clasp at each end thereof. Each clasp is adapted for fastening to a beltloop of the pants, jeans, shorts, skirt, or any other type of clothing with beltloops of a wearer permitting the jewelry article to be suspended from the waist and worn on the hip or across the front or back of the wearer.

Abstract: A new sunlight blocking sleeves for protecting the skin on the arms and shoulders of a wearer from sunlight. The inventive device includes a pair of sleeves with each sleeve having opposite wrist and shoulder openings and which is adapted for wearing on the arm and shoulder of a wearer the sleeve. An elongate flexible strap is coupled to the sleeve around the periphery of the shoulder. The flexible strap has a free end portion which is attachable to another portion of the flexible strap to hold the sleeve over the shoulder of a wearer.

Abstract: A swim suit bottom for both genders having a unique attachment of each end thereof to the user. The swim suit bottom is formed into a single flexible fabric cover having a narrow mid section sized to cover the crotch area and widening at either end thereof to define a front and a back panel. When fully extended over the user in an in-use position, the front panel covers essentially the pubic area and the back panel covers a central buttocks area of the user. The back panel is supported in position by a slender resilient arcuate band which only partially encircles and biasingly engages against the lower torso, extending across the lower back, up around the right and left iliac crests and diagonally downward toward, but not to, the stomach and pubic area. The front panel is held in position by a strip of replaceable double-sided adhesive tape adhered adjacent the end margin of the front panel and then across the skin of the upper pubic area below the stomach.

Abstract: A quick release diver's belt including a pair of flexible weighted arcuate sections interconnected by a releasable section to encircle the waist of a diver with the releasable section disposed at the back of the diver and the arcuate sections terminating in spaced free ends at the front of the waist of the diver to facilitate quick removal. The belt can be tightened by merely pushing in on the arcuate sections or be released by pulling one of the sections at the front of the diver away from the diver's body.
