  • Patent number: 10310137
Abstract: A method and system for modeling a subsurface structure at a time when the structure was originally formed. A first model having non-planar horizons representing a current subsurface structure may be used to calculate a vector field based on the non-planar geometry of the horizons of the model. The vector field may be non-uniform or uniform. Geographic coordinates of the first model may be transformed to paleo-geographic coordinates of a model representing the subsurface structure in the past, where the non-planar horizons in the first model are transformed to planar horizons in the second model. A set of points describing one or more fractures in the subsurface structure may be used to calculate a tuning parameter to correct a first set of paleo-geographic coordinates. A second set of coordinates representing an improved prediction at a time period when the subsurface structure was originally formed may be generated.

Abstract: A multiple use camouflage system is described for use by an individual. The system is integrated into and remains attached to a fanny pack secured to a waist belt or to a backpack, etc. The camouflage system utilizes a sheet of flexible rectangular camouflage material (preferably translucent mesh netting) with spaced straps secured along one side edge and spaced D-rings on the opposite side edge. When deployed, the sheet material can be wrapped around the user and secured with the straps. A slit extends upwardly from the bottom edge toward the central section of the sheet, enabling the lower portions of the sheet to be wrapped around the users legs and secured with straps and D-rings, or the lower portions can be secured together to form a tube around the body of the user. The material can also be used off of the body as a fixed positional blind for hunting or surveillance. The material can be folded and rolled into the fanny pack for storage and carrying.

  • Patent number: 5867836
Abstract: A waist band holder for holding up a pair of trousers or a skirt. The waist band holder has three strips, a fabric strip, an elastic strip and a Velcro strip. The strip of Velcro is attached to the elastic strip. The elastic strip is attached to the fabric strip. Two additional Velcro strips are attached to the end of the waist band trouser holder for securing to a persons waist. The strip of Velcro on the waist band holder attaches to a strip of Velcro on the inner waistband of a pair of trousers or skirt. The elastic strip allows the waist band to displace in the vertical direction when an individual wearing the waistband trouser holder sits or squats. The waist band holder then returns the trousers or skirt to its original position when the wearer returns to a standing position.

  • Patent number: 5243974
Abstract: A garment in the general form of an improved athletic supporter includes a genital pouch depending from and attached to a waist band. The pouch comprises a front panel and a rear panel, joined at the bottom to form an open-top pocket. The respective top portions of the front and rear panels are provided with releasable fastening means, preferably hook-and-loop fasteners, so that the pocket can be selectively closed and reopened. A packet containing a chilling medium, such as ice, and conforming to the pocket, is inserted into the pocket. When the garment is worn with the chilling medium packet installed in the pocket, the chilling medium is held in close proximity to a surgical site or a site of mild trauma in the scrotal or inguinal area, thereby affording a degree of relief from pain and inflammation. The pouch offers genital support and limits the movement of the genitals, thereby reducing strain that can exacerbate the pain and inflammation and inhibit healing.
