    Abstract: A fastening device for fastening a conductor line to at least one mounting element. The fastening device has at least one holding element connectable to the conductor line. The holding element fastens the conductor line to the mounting element such that movement perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the conductor line is not possible. A conductor line system has a conductor line, which is fastened by a first fastening device to a first mounting element and by a second fastening device spaced apart therefrom to a second mounting element. The first fastening device is connected to the conductor line and to the first mounting element in such a way that movement in the longitudinal direction is not possible. The second fastening device is connected to the conductor line and/or to the mounting line in such a way that movement in the longitudinal direction is possible.

A plug is slidably insertable into the socket and the plug is placed in electrical communication with the building's electrical system when the plug is inserted into the socket. A locking mechanism is movably integrated into the plug to releasably engage the socket when the plug is inserted into the socket. A light fixture is coupled around the plug and the light fixture receives the electrical voltage from the building's electrical system when the plug is inserted into the socket.

    Abstract: A mounting device holds a sensor, such as an ultrasonic fluid level sensor, against a side of a reservoir, such as a blood reservoir in an extracorporeal blood circulation system. Flexible foot pads in a base sheet carry an adhesive coating for attaching the footpads to an arbitrarily shaped outer wall of the reservoir. A rigid bayonet-type locking connector which receives the sensor is suspended from the base sheet by a tubular coupling member which preferably includes a resilient section that flexes to maintain the sensor in an orthogonal relationship with the reservoir wall. The resilient section preferably includes helical arms which are under tension when the sensor is locked into place in order to create a desirable amount of preload force between the sensor and the wall.

For instance, a threaded slip nut may couple to threads within the body assembly. In one configuration, the end effector assembly may have locking tabs that rotate into rotational recesses in the body assembly. The locking tabs may include electrical contacts and/or optically perceivable indicators.

An inner surface of the tubular body has a plurality of spacers extending radially inward proximate the bottom end of the tubular body. The unitary flexible flaps and the spacers fix the sensor within the tubular body. The tubular body may also have a plurality of capture tabs extending outwardly from an exterior surface thereof proximate the open bottom end that are slidably and removably engageable with an engagement keyway in a retainer bracket that is affixed to a non-metallic and non-magnetic material.

    Abstract: A welding ground detection system and method are provided. In one embodiment, a switch actuator is interconnected to a grounding device and operatively associated with a switch. The switch is electrically connected to an electrical circuit that is operatively associated with the welding equipment. The switch is normally in an open state in which the switch opens the electrical circuit, thereby preventing welding. Upon connection of the grounding device to a workpiece, the switch actuator actuates the switch to a closed state, thereby permitting welding. In one embodiment, detection of a voltage, a current, a resistance, or an impedance of a ground connection is not required to actuate the switch.

    Abstract: A combination electrical plug, receptacle and switch includes a cylindrical plug portion in which is inserted a cylindrical receptacle portion. The plug portion may be plugged into a conventional electrical socket. An electrical appliance or device may be plugged into the receptacle end. Electrical contacts in the plug portion and the receptacle portion can be made to contact to form a pathway for electrical current by a applying a twisting motion to the receptacle portion. The pathway for the electrical current may be disconnected by twisting the receptacle portion the other way. In this manner, the combination may be conveniently used as an on/off switch for almost any electrical device. Safety features include a way to block twisting of the receptacle end when the switch is in the off position unless the receptacle end is first pulled slightly away from the plug end before twisting it.

In closed position, the shroud is mated to the switch connector device, and conducts electrical signals between the first and second wire cables. The shroud substantially completely obstructs operative access to the fastener. In open position, the shroud is sufficiently unmated from the switch connector device to permit operative tool access to the fastener. The first connector is disconnected from the second connector when in the open position.
