Gravity Actuated Patents (Class 200/61.83)
  • Patent number: 11659316
Abstract: An acoustic device according to the present technology includes an operating portion and a control unit. The operating portion generates information for determining whether a state of an earphone portion is a wearing state in which the earphone portion is worn by the user, or a non-wearing state in which the earphone portion is not worn by the user. The control unit determines whether the earphone portion is in the wearing state or in the non-wearing state on the basis of output from the operating portion, and implements a function based on a result of the determination.

  • Patent number: 10429119
Abstract: The refrigeration appliance includes a wrapper forming an exterior of the refrigeration appliance and a refrigeration compartment liner and a freezer compartment liner within the wrapper. The wrapper, the refrigeration compartment liner, and the freezer compartment liner are in a spaced apart configuration forming a refrigeration compartment and a freezer compartment. A door is configured to provide access to and seal the freezer compartment. The door has a seal around a periphery thereof. A mullion is disposed between the refrigeration compartment liner and the freezer compartment liner. The mullion includes a forward portion extending towards the freezer compartment. The forward portion includes at least one air-deflection surface. A fan is operably coupled with an evaporator and is configured to direct cooled air within the freezer compartment. The fan is offset from the evaporator and configured to direct air at the air-deflection surface.

  • Patent number: 10236708
Abstract: Various embodiments provide a pack for holding and re-charging an e-cigarette. The pack includes a pack battery; a body portion including a tube for receiving an e-cigarette; a re-charging mechanism for re-charging the e-cigarette received into the tube using the pack battery, wherein the e-cigarette can be re-charged in the tube without disassembly of the e-cigarette; and a dual activation mechanism comprising two separate triggers for causing the re-charging mechanism to begin re-charging the e-cigarette received into the tube using the pack battery. The re-charging begins only in response to the direct activation by a user of both of the separate triggers.

  • Patent number: 10227035
Abstract: A tail lamp assembly is provided to include a tail lamp and a tailgate lamp. The tail lamp assembly replaces the original taillights of a vehicle with the tail lamp, which is embedded in the rear side plate of the vehicle, whereas the tailgate lamp is attached to the tailgate of the vehicle. The tail lamp is directly controlled by the vehicle to selectively provide specific warning signals. The tailgate lamp is disposed on a surface of the tailgate, extending from the tail lamp at the position within a certain distance from the tail lamp. A light channel or electric channel is selectively established between the tail lamp and the tailgate lamp to link and synchronize the tailgate lamp with the tail lamp, so that the tailgate lamp provides specific warning signals accordingly.

  • Patent number: 7388483
Abstract: A wireless position sensing device is provided for monitoring railyard equipment status. The device comprises a gravity sensing mechanism for sensing an angular displacement with respect to a substantially vertical line, and for generating a displacement signal upon sensing a change in angular displacement exceeding approximately 40 degrees. A processing mechanism, operatively coupled to the gravity sensing mechanism, receives the displacement signal. A radio frequency transmitter, responsive to the processing mechanism, transmits a data signal indicative of the angular displacement. The processing mechanism is programmed to activate the radio frequency transmitter upon receipt of the displacement signal. The gravity sensing mechanism is affixed, attached, or mechanically coupled to railyard equipment comprising at least one of a manually operated rail switch or a safety indicator.
