Abstract: A container for packing and shipping stud welding ferrule aligned along a spindle. The container comprises a body having a top, a bottom, opposing side walls and opposing end walls defining a storage space therein. The container further comprises a spindle retainer operatively connected to the body. The spindle retainer has a transverse portion and a longitudinal portion connected to the transverse portion. The transverse portion extends from one of the end walls and toward and into the storage space, while the longitudinal portion extends from the transverse portion and toward the bottom of the body. The transverse portion and the longitudinal portion are sized and shaped to accept and to retain ends of the spindle to contain the spindle within the body.
Abstract: A glued three piece folding basket carrier which has two partitions for dividing the carrier into six cells with each partition being constructed of a different material than used to construct the outside basket carrier. Each partition is glued to a handle panel and a divider flap on the end of the basket carrier and a to a side wall to form a bottle cell with walls that are perpendicular to the divider between the two sides of the carrier and which are also formed as part of the partition.
Abstract: Apparatus for erecting a bottle carrier. The carrier is initially formed as a flat folded tube having a bottom wall, a top wall and transversely creased end walls, the top wall forming a central partition. The apparatus has a longitudinal partition former which is spaced to create a longitudinal slot and end formers which are spaced from the longitudinal formers to create end slots. A blade passing through a hole in the bottom wall engages the inside surface of the top wall to drive it into the longitudinal slot. This operation creates the central partition and simultaneously erects the end walls as the carrier is thrust into the forming apparatus.
Abstract: An article carrier is provided which is adapted to assume either a collapsed or set up mode. When in the set up mode, the carrier is adapted to accommodate a plurality of articles arranged in a pair of coextensive, substantially parallel rows. The set up carrier comprises a pair of upright end panels disposed at opposite ends of the article rows. Each end panel includes an upper section and a lower section which are interconnected by a horizontally extending foldline. The upper section of each end panel includes a substantially triangular center segment having an upwardly extending apex and a pair of substantially triangular shoulder segments foldably connected to the sides of the center segment defining the apex. A hand-gripping unit spans the distance between the end panels and is provided with a pair of depending panel sections having the upper peripheral portions thereof interconnected by a foldline which terminates at each end at the apex of the end panel center segment.
Abstract: A foldable basket carrier has front and rear panel assemblies hinged about common edges of center panels wherein one of the cutter panels has transverse dividers cut therefrom for one of the front and rear compartments and the other compartment is divided by transverse divider panels on a separate piece.
