Abstract: Disclosed is a wearable sunblock container, comprising a sunblock holder including an interior cavity configured to contain sunblock, and a strap configured to attach the sunblock holder to a user's body. In certain embodiments, the sunblock container is in the form of a wristwatch, wherein the sunblock holder resembles a wristwatch timepiece, and the strap includes a first strap end coupled to a first side of the sunblock holder and a second strap end coupled to a second side of the sunblock holder.

Abstract: A system for printing on a printable portion of a liner for a package to receive smoking articles includes a package assembler configured to receive an outer blank and fold the outer blank around the liner to create the package. The liner comprises a material configured to absorb ink and a front surface, the front surface configured to be seen by a user when the package is open. The liner also includes a printable portion positioned on the front surface, the printable portion configured to receive ink. The system further comprises a printer coupled to the package assembler, the printer configured to dispense the ink on the printable portion when the package is in an at least partially assembled state.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a hinge lid pack for containing loose elongated smoking articles is disclosed, the method includes forming a box and a lid connected to the box about a hinge line extending across a back wall of the pack. The box can include a front wall, a left side wall, a right side wall, a back wall, and a bottom wall, and the lid can include a lid top wall, a lid left side wall, a lid right side wall, and a lid back wall. A perforation line is formed in a front panel of an inner frame, the inner frame including the front panel, a right side panel, and a left side panel, and at least a portion of the inner frame is glued to the front wall of the box of the hinge lid pack.

Abstract: A package includes a first pouch and either a second pouch or a cover, where the pouches are configured to contain a product, such as a food product, and attached relative to each other about a hinge. The package includes at least one closure flap. The first and second pouches or first pouch and cover are movable about the hinge from a closed position where access is at least partially blocked by the closure flap toward an open position where the closure flap is separated to allow greater access. Methods of manufacturing such packages are also provided.

Abstract: A fastener-stick dispenser for dispensing sticks of fasteners, such as staples, nails, and screws. In some embodiments, the dispenser includes a body defining a fastener-stick receptacle that receives a plurality of the fastener sticks. The dispenser also includes a dispensing port through which fastener sticks are dispensed one or more at a time by a user. The dispenser may also include one or more securing device for securing the dispenser to a user so that the user can carry the dispenser in a hands-free manner. A method of providing a fastener-stick dispenser is also disclosed. The method includes providing a fastener stick dispenser and providing various instructions for its use. In some embodiments, the dispenser includes a pivotable dispensing mechanism designed, configured, and arranged to dispense fastener sticks in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axes of the fastener sticks. The dispensing mechanism may be actuated using a lever arm.

The pull-out member is folded at the fold portion and separated from an extraction section of the storage item so as to expose the extraction section in a state in which the extraction section of the storage item is positioned outside the case body.

Abstract: A storage device for portable electronic devices is provided. The storage device includes a luggage item provided with an interior cradle. The interior cradle is adapted to securely and adjustable hold a portable electronic device, such as a laptop computer. The interior cradle comprises a height adjuster for selectively changing the position or depth of the stored device within the bag.

Abstract: The present invention is related to an apparatus to facilitate the retrieval of a personal device from a compartment or pocket. The apparatus has a back surface with a support attached to the back surface in a manner that allows the support to move and a tab or loop on one end of the support. An elastic tape is attached to the back surface and to the support. Also attached to the support is a ribbon which is secured to the elastic tape at a connection point. The support can be extended to retrieve the personal device from the compartment or pocket which stretches the elastic tape and the ribbon until the ribbon is fully extended preventing the further extension of the support. The elastic tape may then facilitate the retraction of the apparatus into the compartment or pocket.

Abstract: A container including smoking articles also includes a cup shaped box for the smoking articles. The cup shaped box includes a bottom wall, side walls and an opening. The container further includes a lifting element correlated to at least one smoking article for lifting the smoking article of the bottom wall of the container. The lifting element has an engaging portion, engageable with the outside upper end portion of the smoking article.

Abstract: A self-lifting dispenser, including a pack(1) opened with sliding method. A rigid thin wire(2) is threaded and moves up and down through a channel(11) within the inner side of the wall of the pack(1). The upper end of the wire(2) is mounted on the opening device of the pack(1). The lower end of the wire(2) is the hook(21) located at bottom of sliding open exit(15) of the pack(1). The bottom of the pack(1) may be associated with a cavity(12) at corner under the sliding open exit(15). Compared to current technology, the lifting device could be extremely thin, pre-made and inserted during the automatic cigarette packing process with slight modification of existing packing line.

Abstract: A package for cigarettes, including a sanitary cigarette case which can avoid filter tips from being contacted by fingers, so preventing germs on the fingers from spreading into the mouth via the filter tips. The case can include a case body and a case cover and an opening surface of the case body that is parallel with the longitudinal axis of cigarettes. The opening end of the case body can be covered by the case cover, which has a concavity in its longer face. An advantage of this cigarette case is that it is designed so that person can grasp the middle of a cigarette when they remove the cigarette from the cigarette case, thereby preventing the filter tips from being contacted by the fingers, and preventing germs on the fingers from spreading into the mouth via the filter tips. This cigarette case can have a sanitary, convenient, elegant operation, simple manufacturing process and low cost.

Abstract: A one-piece paper or cardboard blank is converted into a hinged-lid cigarette pack wherein a box-shaped housing has a rear wall connected to the rear wall of a cover pivotable to and from a closed position in which it closes an opening at the top of the housing. The cover and the housing include sections which are respectively connected to the main portions of the housing and cover by weakened portions and are adjacent each other in the closed position of the cover. An adhesive revenue label or coupon is bonded to the outer sides of the sections and is manually or mechanically removed from the cigarette pack, with or relative to the sections, if a visual or automatic inspection of the freshly made cigarette pack reveals that its condition does not meet a predetermined standard.

Abstract: Pack units comprising a (cigarette) pack, in particular hinge-lid box (10), and an outer wrapper (24) made of thin, transparent film are assigned a printing carrier (30) which is arranged between the hinge-lid box (10) and outer wrapper (24), to be precise with (zigzag) folding. The printing carrier (30) is positioned in the region of an end wall (22) such that automatic unfolding takes place when the outer wrapper (24) is opened.

Abstract: A package, especially a soft-cup pack for cigarettes is disclosed. An inner wrapping (12) of the soft-cup pack is provided with an opening and withdrawal aid. In the region of an end wall (15), a longitudinal tab (16) is folded out s of the region of the end wall (15). The other longitudinal tab (17) serves as a closure tab for a withdrawal opening (24) which is formed in the central region of the end wall (15). The withdrawal opening (24) is enlarged because parts of side tabs (20, 21) can be moved into the open position a together with the longitudinal tab (17). Additionally, the inner wrapping (12) is provided with a withdrawal aid which is effective in the region of the withdrawal opening (24), in particular with a lift-out strip (44) which is formed from the inner wrapping (12).

The lift-out strip (30) extends by means of a gripping tab (34) into the region of the flap (26). When the latter is pulled off, the gripping tab (34) is exposed, in such a way that it projects from the opened cigarette pack and can be grasped by hand. The lift-out strip (30) is connected permanently to the inner blank (16) as part of the latter.

Abstract: This invention relates to a device for opening the seal of a cigaret package of the type enclosed by a folded packaging sheet having a score line on the top thereof. The device comprises a seal opening and cigaret removing device having a contacting member integrally formed at the upper end thereof with a cigaret top contacting piece and a seal opening and cigaret removing tongue piece. The device has at the lower end thereof a side contacting piece formed with a cigaret bottom contacting piece and at the side end thereof a side contacting piece. The score line on the upper surface of the package is broken by the cigaret top contacting piece when pulling the tongue piece upwardly. Thus, the package can be simply opened by breaking the seal in one step, and one or more cigarets are projected above the package by further lifting the tongue piece.

Abstract: A smoker's package contains a plurality of tightly packed smoking tobacco rolls, such as cigarettes or cigars, contained in a wrapper. One of the rolls is provided with a pull string wound freely around it and having one free end projecting from the top end of the roll so that it may be seized by the fingers when it is desired to remove the roll from the wrapper. The pull string has a winding length selected so that, when pulled, it creates a bracing force on the one roll of such a magnitude as to overcome the packing pressure acting on the said one roll, thereby allowing withdrawal of the roll from the other rolls.

Abstract: Shoulder boxes (11) consist of box part (12) for receiving a group of cigarettes (10) and an articulated hinged lid (14). To achieve better aroma and moisture retention, the group of cigarettes (10) is wrapped in an inner wrapping (15) which, for the extraction of cigarettes, has in the region of a continuously closed upper wall (18) a tear-open thread (35) or a tear-open strip (36). In this way, easy access to the cigarettes (10) is possible.

Abstract: This invention relates to a device for opening the seal of a cigaret package and pulling out cigarets from the package comprising an inserting piece integrally formed at the upper end with a cigaret base end contacting piece and a package seal opening and cigaret removing tongue piece and at the lower end with a cigaret end supporting piece, inserted into the cigaret package, a score line perforated on the upper surface of the package to cleave the sewing line line by the base end contacting piece erected by pulling up the tongue piece, to simply open the seal of the package in one step. And by further pulling up the tongue piece, the inserting piece is further withdrawn from the package, thus pulling out the cigarets at the seal opening time.

Abstract: A blank for forming a parallelepipedal box or a parallelepipedal box element is constructed with a removal strip in such a manner that parallel tear lines extend through three connected wall sections of the blank. The tear lines end in one wall section at an articulation area. The tear lines delimit the removal strip which can be torn out of a finished pack or box and upon which a pulling force can be exerted in such a manner that the removal strip is bent about the articulation area, thus causing objects to be lifted from the box by the removal strip.

Abstract: A can, particularly a cylindrical can for maintaining aroma comprises a bottom carrying the contents of the can, which bottom is arranged slidably within the can and which bottom is movable by means of pulling means 3, which are attached to a rotatable ring 5 which can be rotated in a plane perpendicular to the direction of movement, wherein the pulling force or tension exerted on the pulling elements 3 by a rotation of the rotatable ring 5 is directionally changed by a means 4 for changing direction into a tension or pulling force in the direction of the movement of the bottom 10.

Abstract: Shoulder boxes consist of a box part (10) for receiving a group of cigarettes (16) or the like and of a hinge lid (11) connected via an axis of articulation (12). An inner blank (17) with improved moisture and aroma retention is provided with a fold-free upper wall (19) which is closed from stock and in which an extraction orifice (30), extending up to one end of the cigarettes (16) and covering a part region of approximately one third of the surface of the upper wall (19), is provided. This extraction orifice is covered by a closing flap (31) which is formed with an overlapping edge strip (32) at least at one edge located opposite the point of articulation.
