Abstract: In a magnetic tape cassette case including an accommodating portion, a lid portion and a connecting portion for connecting the accommodating portion and the lid portion. The case has movement preventing member capable of accommodating magnetic tape cassettes having different sizes for preventing a small one of the magnetic tape cassette from moving in the case, is provided at least at any one of the accommodating portion, the lid portion and the connecting portion. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a magnetic tape cassette case capable of accommodating magnetic tape cassettes having different sizes without play.

The recording medium holder has an accommodating member which forms a first accommodating region being capable of accommodating at least one sheet of the recording medium to be held and a second accommodating region being capable of accommodating at least one recording device for recording relevant data generated in relation to the processing of information by an information processing apparatus. The accommodating member includes a recording medium holding portion for positioning and holding the recording medium to be held in the first accommodating region and a recording device holding portion for positioning and holding the recording device to be held in the second accommodating region.

Abstract: To provide a plastic case for storing four compact discs, in which a lid part 1 and a case proper 2 are rotatably pivoted at a hinge 3, clip members 4 for storing and holding a printed matter 9 are provided on backsides of the lid part 1 and the case proper 2, and a first tray 6 having a disc-fixing hook 10 placed to jut out front and back sides thereof is rotatably pivoted by the hinge 3 rotatably supporting the lid part 1 and the case proper 2 in a middle, and also a second hinge 8 is placed off a center so as to pivot in addition a second tray 7 by decentering the first tray 6. It is possible to store four compact discs and the printed matter therein and to be only 20 percent thicker therefor than a size of a conventional case capable of storing one compact disc and the printed matter therein, thus causing no difficulty in appearance of product, transportation, exhibition at a storefront and so on.

First and second opposing resilient side walls and a resilient back wall extend upward from the base, forming a structure with an open front and top. First and second resilient, elongated and downwardly curved members are included, each having a proximal end attached to an upper front of a corresponding side wall, and a distal end attached to the back wall. The resilient members are positioned so as to apply pressure to first and second opposing perimeter portions of a tray placed in the clip.

Abstract: A print packing apparatus eliminating checking whether or not a produced set of prints matches a medium which provides data for the set and a system for producing and packing prints with the apparatus are provided. The apparatus comprises a means for accumulating the prints per request, a means for packing the prints accumulated by the print accumulating means, a means for storing a sequence of total print requests and information on each single print request, and a means for controlling the print packing means based on the sequence and the information stored in the storing means.

Abstract: A kit for storing computer discs. The kit includes sheets of die-stamped card stock each of which are folded to form a CD or a DVD holder. The kit also includes a special stackable and expandable disc storage unit. Preferably, the user's computer prints labels on the holder identifying the contents of the CD or DVD. The software programming the computer utilizes may be provided on a CD or it can be downloaded from a WEB site. The disc storage unit is made up of a number of disc storage shelves of an elongated male tab and an elongated female receptor wherein the tabs and the receptor mate respectively with receptors and tabs on adjacent shelves to form the stackable and expandable storage unit. Preferably, the kit also includes end support pieces for preventing the disc storage shelves from sliding relative to each other while stacked. The compact disc holder is inserted into a stackable disc storage unit for storage and display.

Abstract: Storage devices in accordance with embodiments of the present invention, and systems utilizing such storage devices, can allow for archival of various articles, particular planar articles such as electronic media, records, papers, etc. Such a storage device can comprise a sleeve having a pocket for receiving said article and one or more tabs connected with the sleeve. In some embodiments, said one or more tabs can be removably connected with the sleeve, while in other embodiments, multiple sleeves can have one or more tabs formed in various shapes, sizes, and/or colors and arranged in varying positions along an edge of the sleeve. A system utilizing such storage devices can allow for archival of various articles such that the location of an article can be readily identified by identifying one or more tabs connected with the corresponding sleeve.

The device also includes a cover module for covering the support structure of an uppermost one of the frame modules. By connecting the horizontal bar and tube together, the vertical tube to the central bar of the base, and the vertical bar to the central sleeve of the cover laid in a reversed position, compact disks stacked on the base may be shifted along the connected first and second connecting means to the reversed cover, enabling a user to conveniently locate a desired compact disk and remove the same from the container by separating the connected horizontal tube and bar, or the connected vertical tube and central bar from each other.

The inserts or panels may be moved between a plurality of positions to accommodate disks of different diameters. The inserts may also be substituted to accommodate disks of different thickness or different orientations, such as pairs of disks in gap merge orientation or contact merge orientation.

Abstract: Disclosed is a tape-and-disc display container for use in video rental shops. It comprises a top-open, box-like structure and a printed label sheet giving information about what is recorded in the tape and disc. The box-like structure comprises two opposite sidepieces, front and rear pieces, and a bottom piece, and is covered with the printed label sheet. The box-like structure has an intermediate partition piece to divide its inner space into tape and disc compartments, which are parallel arranged and snugly accommodates a videocassette and a digital videodisc or DVD package respectively.

On the lid, a booklet storage area is formed. The disk storage area includes a protrusion engaged in a center hole of a disk, a supporting portion which is brought into contact with a rear surface of the disk to support the disk, and a disk fall preventive portion which is formed in an outwardly projecting manner from an upper side surface of the protrusion and engaged in the center hole of the disk. The cartridge storage area includes a cartridge holding portion which comes into contact with a side surface of a cartridge to hold the cartridge, and a cartridge fall preventive portion which is formed in an inwardly projecting manner toward an inner surface of the cartridge holding portion.

Abstract: Disclosed is a document storage and/or transport system with a permanently attached media storage member specifically designed to hold two different sizes of computer media. The storage member is dual-purpose; one part of the storage member is sized to hold 3½ disks and the other part of the storage member is sized to hold compact discs or similar sized computer media. Advantageously, the dual-purpose media storage member of the present invention is formed from a single sheet of rigid material that is shaped during manufacture to form necessary perforations and bending lines therein. The media storage member is adapted to be mounted either on the inside or on the outside of one or more covers of various paper storage devices, including binders, portfolios, envelopes, file folders, and the like.

Abstract: A flexible book-like storage receptacle for a compact disc and the printed material that typically accompanies such compact discs. The storage receptacle includes a number of clear, pliable panels movable between an open position for easy access to the contents, and a closed position for storage. The storage receptacle includes layered sidewalls designed as pockets for receiving printed material, as well as for providing support to the compact disc. In addition, the receptacle includes one of a number of different retention post structures to securely hold the compact disc in place. Variations for the retention post include a compressible core, a compressible rectangle, a molded cradle, and strategically placed compressible stoppers.
