Abstract: An input device for a tablet computer is provided. The input device includes a base and a touch switch member. The touch switch member includes a touch element and a power switch. The touch element is pivotally coupled with the base and exposed to a top surface of the base. When the tablet computer is placed on the base, the touch element is moved from an initial position to a triggered position through the tablet computer. Consequently, the power switch is pressed down and turned on.

Abstract: A protective cover for a tablet computer includes a front board, a back board having a hinge, and a spine board. A cradle assembly affixed to a first portion of the back board releasably grips the tablet computer. A riser board is attached to the back of the cradle assembly. Attachment means removably attach the riser board to the back board to provide an adjustable angle between the cradle assembly and a second portion of the back board. The attachment means may be a mechanical stopper, a magnet, a clasp, a rivet, or an adhesive. The protective cover may include a wrapping that conceals the front board, the back board, and the spine board and that provides a pattern, a logo, or a pleasing image.

Abstract: The present invention describes a multi-piece electronic device case comprising multiple shock absorbing features. The device includes an upper protective shell, a lower shell, and a rear-mounted shock panel which form the casing around an electronic device. The upper and lower shells are shaped to include a gap between the case and the electronic device. Within the gap are a plurality of curved, force attenuating panels therein that are configured to flex when impacted, thereby distributing the forces applied to the impacted area. Additionally, the backs of the shells include slots for receiving bumper inserts that further distribute impact forces that occur on the upper and lower sides of the electronic device.

Abstract: A cover assembly for a portable electronic device is described. The cover assembly has a cover comprising: two cover extensions extending substantially perpendicular from the cover. Each of the two cover extensions has an abutment towards a center. An angular spring with two wings and two upwards arcuate ends is included in the cover assembly, each of the wings forming a bias angle relative to a line between the two ends. Two housing extensions extend from a surface of the portable electronic device, each of the housing extensions has a protrusion mating the corresponding abutment, and a guide having a form substantially corresponding to the upwards arcuate end. When a force is applied to the center of the angular spring, the bias angle decreases and the upwards arcuate ends are urged upwards, thereby causing the abutments moving outwards, and unlocking the protrusions.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to an apparatus and/or system for housing a device. The apparatus includes a housing that is configured such that a device may be fitted within the housing and thereby be protected, such as from shocks and/or liquid. The housing may include top and bottom members that may be removably coupled together so as to form the housing. Each top and bottom member optionally includes front and back surfaces surrounded by a perimeter. The perimeter is defined by proximal and distal ends as well as opposing sides. The top and bottom members may include respective clasping mechanisms that extend along the perimeter of the top and bottom members. The clasping mechanisms are configured for coupling the top and bottom members with one another thereby sealing the housing, for instance, in a shock-proof and/or water tight seal.

Abstract: A mobile device enclosure system is an apparatus that is provided as a means to protect a mobile device from the wear and tear of daily usage without limiting the portability of the mobile device or the accessibility of said mobile device's hardware keys or charging ports. The apparatus accomplishes this through the use of an inner sleeve and an outer case. The inner sleeve is enclosed within the outer case. The inner sleeve houses the mobile device and protects it from everyday wear and tear while the outer case houses both the inner sleeve and the mobile device protecting them from accidental damage. Additionally, the configuration of the inner sleeve and the outer case permits the mobile device to be particularly oriented and positioned in order to conform to a tradition landscape and portrait display view as well as alternative configurations.

The outer line of the arc area corresponds to the arc side, and the first magnetic element is magnetically attracted with the second magnetic element to make the pivot part detachably connected to the arc side. The protecting cover uses the second magnetic element in the pivot part to attract the electronic device with the first magnetic element in the arc side, and thus the protecting cover can be fixed at the electronic device.

The enclosure cover pivots on the enclosure base and the pivoting axles are connected to the enclosure base and pivot with the enclosure cover. The pivoting axles are not circular but present lobes or cams at a certain angle. The connecting poles are connected to the pivoting axles and the pushing members, the pushing members are fixed on the enclosure base and connected to the height-adjusting feet. Rotating the cover up and away from the enclosure base causes the lobes of the pivoting axles to lift and thus bear down on the height-adjusting feet, extending them through the enclosure base to take the weight of the computer and provide a larger space for the movement of cooling air underneath the computer.

Abstract: The plastic housing connects two housing parts with only a plurality of pins on one of the housing parts and a plurality of the sleeves correlated with the pins with boreholes. The diameters of the pins are at the same time larger than the diameters of the boreholes. Furthermore, the distances between the adjacent pins and the distances between the boreholes correlated with the pins are unequal by such an extent that the pins can be inserted in the correlated boreholes, but the pins and the boreholes are braced against one another as the result of the unequal distances in a connecting plane. In this way, a simple and secure connection is created between the housing parts and the flexural and torsional rigidities of the entire housing are improved.

The bag dispenses moist wipes and plastic disposal bags from the exterior of the bag when needed to clean hands for fast clean ups or for cleaning a baby during a diaper change. It also has a detachable pad which folds out from the diaper bag when attached. The pad can be used as a diaper changing pad, seat cushion, back rest, knee pad, or lap tray for eating on. There are compartments for holding extra diapers under the front flap allowing quick access to them without reaching inside the bag. The case can include a cover connected to a pouch by a hinge such that the cover can be overlaid over a device interface (e.g., a device display). The case can be constructed by layering and combining several types of materials, including for example materials having resistant outer surfaces, materials limiting the deformation of the case, materials providing a soft surface to be placed in contact with the device, and rigid materials for defining a structure of the case. In some embodiments, the case can include a tab that allows a user to fold open the cover of the case to form a triangular prism. The top edge includes a wide-profile aperture for exposing the remote unit's infrared transmitter. On the inner surface of the rear wall is a fabric pad for minimizing impact damage if the remote unit is dropped. Accordingly, when the remote unit is positioned within the interior chamber, the thin, transparent front wall allows a user to easily view and operate any of the remote unit's control buttons. Meanwhile, the sleeve protects the unit from contaminants and minimizes impact damage if the unit is dropped.

Abstract: Luggage cases of the soft-side construction are perceived to be lighter than hard-side cases. However, many rigidifying elements in soft-side cases tend to add to the weight of a soft-side luggage case. This reduces its weight advantage over molded shell luggage cases. Using a textile body in the luggage case to form both the grip of a carry handle and a portion of the outer surface of the luggage helps reduce the weight of the luggage. The textile body may be attached to a thin resilient wire hoop to resist distortion of the luggage case when is it lifted by the handle. This construction saves weight in comparison to conventional luggage case constructions.

The extendable section of each support column is comprised of a scissors linkage and an elongated foot member. The elongated foot member provides improved load distribution across the surface supporting the invention. Embodiments typically include a fold lock mechanism to releasably lock each support column in its folded configuration. Other embodiments have a support stiffening mechanism adapted to yieldably resist movement of its respective support member from its support configuration. Further embodiments comprise at least one load sensor system to provide a warning signal when the extendable section of a support column is in extended configuration and subjected to a compression force in excess of a predetermined amount. The system has a table with a table bottom surface pivotally attached to a generally u-shaped telescopic table mount. A first table mount rod is located in a first table mount tube and a second table mount rod is located in a second table mount tube. The first table mount tube and the second table mount tube are located on a suitcase rear surface. In a first closed position, the table is located parallel with and pivoted against the suitcase rear surface. In a second open position, the table is pivoted into a position on a plane parallel with the suitcase top surface.

A part of the electronic device where an operating stick is formed can be stored in a flap formed with the side cover. The fixing structure is disposed on the second upper covering plate and arranged at a junction between the first upper covering plate and the second upper covering plate. Consequently, an upper cover angle between the fixing structure and the first upper covering plate is changeable when the second upper covering plate is bent relative to the first upper covering plate.
