Abstract: A display carton for accommodating various sizes of glass lamp fixtures, of variable widths as well as heights, comprises basically a three piece construction, including a first upper member having a base and a peripheral upstanding wall portion, and a lower member also including a base and an upstanding wall portion. The upper and lower members are slidably assembled so as to form the upper and lower portions of the carton, with each member respectfully supporting the opposite ends of the glass lamp fixture. The lower member includes an aperture for receiving the base end of the glass lamp fixture, and in order to accommodate different size diameters of lamp fixtures, an additional card having an aperture may be provided and temporarily secured to the lower member, with one end of the lamp fixture passing through the aperture in the card. Because of the sliding arrangement between the two members, lamp fixtures of variable height may be readily accommodated.

Abstract: An improved single cavity packaging enclosure is provided for supporting and protecting an individual cathode ray tube. The enclosure is fabricated from a unitary sheet of foldable substantially rigid material and contains integral supportive structures, wherein discrete lip configurations effect beneficial positional retention of formed tube-supporting therein.

Abstract: A fluorescent lamp or similary shaped fragile article is frictionally locked with a protective open-ended wrapper of tubular sleeve-like configuration by an inturned tab that constitutes a hinged part of the wrapper and is sandwiched between the inserted lamp and the wrapper wall. The wrapper is preferably fabricated from single-face corrugated paper and the tab is swingable about a hinge line such that the corrugations of the inturned tab extend transversely with respect to and thus do not nest with the corrugations of the wrapper, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of the tab as an integral article-retaining means.

Abstract: A generally rectangular carton for protectively enclosing a light bulb, or other fragile article including apertured partitions spaced from opposite sides of the carton for receiving and retaining the opposite sides of the bulb. Flaps adjacent the apertures extending between the sides of the bulb and the sides of the carton help to protect the bulb and to retain it in the carton.
