Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a package, an article carrier for packaging a plurality of articles and to a blank for forming the article carrier. The article carrier may package at least one article having a recess. The article carrier comprises a plurality of panels for forming a tubular structure for surrounding at least one article. The article carrier comprises an article retention device for engaging a recess of one of said at least one article. The article retention device may inhibit dislodgement of the article from at least one of opposite open ends of the tubular structure in a setup carrier. The tubular structure defines a tubular axis. The article retention device comprises a flap hingedly connected to a first one of the plurality of panels along a first fold line. The first fold line extends at an acute angle with respect to the tubular axis. The acute angle may be no more than 50 degrees.

A plurality of articles are arranged and retained between the first and second parts in such a manner that an individual article can be removed from the packaging unit. The packaging unit is insertable in a dispenser (13) and may serve as a refill package. Furthermore, a dispenser for delivering disposable articles, the dispenser comprising a retaining part (14) for retaining a packaging unit and an opening (15) allowing a packaging unit to be inserted and allowing an individual article to be delivered. The opening is arranged in such a manner that an individual article may be delivered from the dispenser by pulling it in a substantially downwards direction.

Abstract: A carrier is constructed from paperboard and includes a rounded or non-rectangular top in combination with a non-rounded or rectangular bottom. Dust flaps which extend from the top and bottom of the carrier overlap one another to form a pair of opposing composite side panels. The dust flaps which are attached to the side panels include a crease or fold line adjacent to the bottom of the carrier which only extends partially along the height of the carrier so that the juncture between the side flap and the associated side panel adjacent the top of the carrier does not include a crease or fold line. As such, the side panel and adjacent side flap adjacent the top of the carrier can be tightly wrapped around the arcuate sidewall of the containers within the carrier to thereby provide a neat and tightly packed package configuration.

One of the base panels which carries a locking tab overlies a tongue protruding from the end edge of the other base panel. On either side of the locking tab, the said one base panel has a hinged tab protruding from the end edge of that panel. Each of the hinged tabs underlies the end edge of the other base panel, one on each side of the protruding tongue. This ‘over and under’ arrangement presents less of an externally overlapped edge than is the case of a simple complete overlap and thus mitigates against the base panels being skewed or prized apart leading to tearing and/or dislodgement of the locking means.

Abstract: A wrap around carrier for carrying bottle with a petaloid base having heel assemblies that have hinge doors with a vertical cut line in the bottom of each hinge with a horizontal cut line at the top of each cut line that extends inwardly towards the heel aperture formed by the door. This carton has a second cut line that is either at the bottom of the vertical cut line in each hinge or near the center of the door. None of these cut lines extend into the heel aperture. This combination of cut lines facilitates the control tearing of the cut line at the top of the vertical cut line into the heel aperture.

A bottom panel includes a plurality of article-receiving openings therethrough. The openings are configured to receive articles and to retain the articles by their top flanges. Each of the openings is disposed adjacent to a fold line connecting the bottom panel with a side panel. The fold line includes a frangible portion that is positioned in proximity of at least one of the openings. Moving each article within the respective opening permits a flange of that article to initiate breakage of the frangible portion to release that article from the respective opening so that that article may be dispensed from the carton.

A secondary male lock is held in the vertical position by a female door flap leaning against the male lock. Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to prevent the edge of the in-molded label from the crack due to the impact of dropping the container, especially to prevent the occurrence of the crack on the thin synthetic resin container and to provide the synthetic resin container which a reinforce rib is disposed on the wall surface of the container body corresponding to the edge of the in-molded label to surround the label edge or to locate the label edge in said rib.

Abstract: The carton of this invention is capable of carrying the plurality of containers stacked upon their ends in two tiers with a unique dispenser that permits the dispensing of containers on their sides. The dispenser is formed in a top side wall and extends into the end wall with most of the end wall being torn open but leaving a portion near the bottom side wall to prevent the bottom layer of containers from rolling out. Angled projections in the dispensing end of the carton near the top panel and bottom panel prevent the top layer of containers from rolling out. A divider may be inserted between the two tiers of containers to facilitate loading the carton and preventing the containers from accidentally rolling out when the dispenser is open.
