The edge of the lower cover extends outward to form a circular protruding edge. On the protruding edge there are wedging parts. Under the wedging parts there are wedging slots. On the wedging parts there are fixing pins. The lower end of the fixing pin plugs into the wedging slot. A receiving space is formed in the inner part of the upper cover. On the bottom of the external wall of the upper cover there are a plurality of wedging bodies. The wedging bodies have fixing holes. The upper cover covers the lower cover. The wedging bodies can be rotated and wedged into corresponding wedging slots and the lower ends of the fixing pins are located in the corresponding holes.

Abstract: A “protective structure of disc packaging” of the invention comprises a protective body placed on the top and the bottom sides of a pile of discs; a heat-shrink film covers the protective body and said discs together for avoiding the discs from deforming the heat-shrink film. The characteristic of the invention lies in: the protective body is composed of at least two interlaced disc-shaped plates, which are made of corrugated paper or plastic corrugated sheet with wavy buffer portions. When the upper and the lower disc-shaped plates are disposed, the undulating buffer portions of the disc-shaped plates are vertically stacked up; in addition, the size of each disc-shaped plate is larger than the disc. The invention, therefore, is able to achieve the objectives of retaining the disc quality during the disc packaging and delivery processes, in addition, effectively reducing the disc packaging costs based on the requirement of environmental protection.

Abstract: A system and method for providing a dry consumable with a liquid in the same assembly. The assembly includes a fluid container that is covered with a cap assembly. The cap assembly can be manually opened and closed, thereby selectively controlling the flow of fluid out of the fluid container. Consumable material is formed into a solid form on the exterior of the cap assembly. The material can include pharmaceutical compounds, nutraceutical compounds or can be inert compounds, such as confections. The material is formed into a solid that can be bitten or licked away from the cap assembly as the cap assembly is placed in the mouth. Once the material is received into the mouth, liquid can be drunk through the cap assembly to help wash the material down the throat.

Abstract: A pad package structure for a nailer includes at least one package box having a top formed with a plurality of removable catch plates, a plurality of pads mounted in the package box, and a pull bar mounted on the package box and extended through each of the pads to move the pads. Thus, the package box has a plurality of removable catch plates, so that the pull bar and the pads can be removed from the package box directly by pushing and expanding the catch plates of the package box, thereby facilitating the user operating the pad package structure.

Abstract: A container for disks has an improved latching mechanism. The container comprises a cassette with sidewalls with slots for holding disks in an axial arrangement, two opposite end walls each have a U-shaped recess extending downwardly from the open top, a top cover with a rectangular top portion and two end portions extend downwardly to cover the U-shaped recess. The top cover latches to the cassette by way of a latching mechanism which includes a living hinge, an extension portion, and a hook portion all on each end portion. The hook portion cooperates and engages with a cooperative catch member on the cassette. The extension member is under tension to secure the top cover in place. In an alternate embodiment, recesses on the extension portion connect to nubs on the cassettes or on the bottom cover to secure the top cover in place.

Abstract: A device for holding hose clamps in a predetermined position, wherein the hose clamps each have a clamping part projecting radially away from a circumference of the hose clamps and wherein the clamping part has a projection extending in the circumferential direction, has a rail having a longitudinal slot for receiving the clamping part of the hose clamps via an open end of the longitudinal slot. The longitudinal slot has an edge configured to support the projection. The rail is a tube having an inner side projecting inwardly into a corner formed between the projection and an outer end section of the clamping part adjoining the projection.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a disc package having a structure in which a cover can be fixed on a base by simply pressurizing the cover with respect to the base in a base shaft axial direction and, at the same time, the cover can be prevented from being accidentally separated from the base while the disc package is being transported. Further, in the disc package, a cover once fixed on a base can be separated therefrom by rotating the cover along the circumference of the base in any direction, i.e., in either a clockwise or a counterclockwise direction. Furthermore, an end portion of a shaft can be fitted into a concave portion of a cover even in case the end portion of the shaft is not aligned with the concave portion of the cover.

Abstract: A roofing washers assembly includes a plurality of stacked roofing washers and a positioning roofing washer is located at an end of the stacked roofing washers. An elongate holding member has a removable end piece connected to a first end thereof and the end piece extends through the central aperture in each of the stacked roofing washers and the positioning aperture of the positioning roofing washer. The end piece has expandable spikes which are pushed inward when passing through the positioning washer and then expand outward after the spikes go through the positioning aperture. The end piece is disengaged from the holding member when the holding member is pulled from a second end thereof.

Abstract: A staple or nail gun assembly includes a staple or nail gun, a cap feeding device and a cap having a peripheral rim disposed on its underside, a marginal edge on its upper side adjacent a central portion having the shape of a truncated cone. The staple or nail gun and the cap feeding device are generally disposed at opposite ends of the handle of the staple or nail gun. The cap feeding device includes a base, a cap container and a shuttle, and feeds caps sequentially as they are affixed by the gun. The caps are coaxially stacked by means of a coaxial plastic cord or wire with retaining means at the respective ends or in a tubular container with a flanged end. The caps may also be stacked on a rod or held together by melting.

Abstract: A media storage container includes a back wall with base and lid pages hingedly connected to the back wall. The base page has a hub to hold a first item of recorded media. An internal page is connected to the hinge wall and has a hub on one surface thereof to hold a second item of recorded media and a hub on the other surface thereof to hold a third item of recorded media. The hub on the internal page facing the base page is offset from the base page hub so that each hub helps hold discs on the facing page. Likewise, the hubs on opposite sides of the internal page are offset for the same purpose where additional internal pages are included.

Abstract: A inverted U-shaped retainer clip is provided for securing sleeves to a binder for storing and protecting disc type objects. One embodiment of the retainer clip includes a body portion as well as downwardly extending legs on each end. Each leg terminates in a coupling device having outwardly extending fingers having a notch on the outer surface of each finger. A pair of receptacles is used in conjunction with each clip and is designed to receive the coupling devices and engage the notch on each finger to secure the clip within the receptacles. The receptacles are installed in the binder through the back side of apertures formed in a reinforcement strip provided on the inside of the spine. After the sleeves are threaded on the body portion of the clip the ends are inserted into the receptacles to permanently retain the sleeves and clip in the binder.

Abstract: An assembly to facilitate the transport of semiconductor wafers comprises rigid first and second end plates, and a plurality of interconnected flexible pockets provided between these first and second end plates. Each of the pockets is configured to store a semiconductor wafer therein. A method of facilitating the transport of semiconductor wafers comprises inserting semiconductor wafers into pockets of a wafer transport assembly, the assembly having rigid first and second end plates, and a plurality of interconnected flexible pockets attached therebetween. The method further comprises collapsing the pockets down onto the semiconductor wafers by moving the first end plate toward the second end plate. A method of fabricating an assembly to facilitate the transport of semiconductor wafers comprises providing a plurality of interconnected flexible pockets between rigid first and second end plates, each of these pockets being configured to store a semiconductor wafer therein.

Abstract: A protector for sheet metal coil is formed of plastic with a flange and sleeve which are joined together at a ridge portion. The protectors incorporate symmetrically disposed groupings of stacking features or components which include a finger within a stacking access opening, a stacking tab, and a stacking opening. The fingers are employed to resiliently engage the inner surface of a core of a coil and incorporate a receiver surface for freely abuttable engagement with a stacking tab of a second protector when arranged in mutual stacking relationship. The stacking openings function for stacking purposes to receive the protruding finger of a next stack protector.

Abstract: Apparatus for serving bakery products including an upright cake-shaped body having an upper wall and product-receiving slots descending downwardly from the upper wall. The upper wall includes one or more slots descending downwardly therefrom and which are smaller than the product-receiving slots and adapted to receive candles or other party paraphernalia. In use, bakery products such as cookies are placed into the slot and the body with the bakery products can be sealed and sold as such. When being presented as a dessert, candles and/or other party paraphernalia may be inserted into the slots in the upper wall. The bakery products can be easily removed from the product-receiving slots, and the product-receiving slots can even be re-filled with more bakery products.

Abstract: A reusable coin holder, counter and sorter, known as COINSMETER™ utilizes inexpensive semi-disposable packaging technology. In each half of a semi-elastic plastic material, at least one grove is provided in the shape of half cylinder. When the two halves are closed, a cylinder or a number of cylinders are created. Each cylinder has a scaled line(s) for indicating the amount of coins vertically stacked in the cylindrical columns. Coins may be inserted through a slot at the top of each cylinder. The diameter of the cylindrical columns may be slightly bigger than the diameter of the coins. The two meeting sections may be connected from a solid base portion of the article. The present invention also includes a handle and stand for supporting the coin holder. In another embodiment, a carrying case for multiple coin holders may be provided to store and carry coins in a secure manner.

Abstract: The disk carrier is used to house and secure a plurality of disks and comprises a disk cassette having an open top, an open bottom, and end wall ingresses; a top cover; and a bottom cover. The top cover has flaps to cover the end wall ingresses. To reduce particulation from opening and closing the disk carrier, one embodiment of the disk carrier implements an articulation in the flaps. Another embodiment implements a living hinge on the bottom cover. The disk carrier also has a path to ground for dissipating static and other electrical charge away from the disks.

Abstract: An improved charcoal briquet having combustion aiding surfaces is packaged in a compact boxed package. A charcoal briquet having improved burning characteristics and also improved shipping and retailing characteristics is thereby provided. An improved packaged charcoal product including a flat sided box adapted to hold randomly oriented briquets and be split open at its bottom corners for use in igniting the briquets and a grooved pillow shaped briquet are also disclosed.

Abstract: A storing and transporting system for compact discs (“CD's”) for recorded audio materials and related accessory materials such as notebooks or booklets comprising an outside case of flat, clamshell configuration defining two storage areas, and one or two box-like disc containers of similar configuration to be nested in the storage areas and each having a tray-like body for holding a stack of discs in flexible storage envelopes. Guides and partitions in the case define the two storage areas and hold the stored items snugly therein, and the containers have removable retainers for holding a selected number of disc envelopes therein. Integral recessed latches hold the covers releasably in closed positions, and the case and the container are sized to receive and hold preselected numbers of discs and booklets of related materials so as to be highly versatile in use, and are provided with convenient label areas.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of dispensing abrasive materials and to an abrasive material, such as a sheet or disc. An abrasive material means a flexibly bendable abrasive sheet product, one side of which is provided with an abrasive agent with a varying grit size. A plural number of abrasive materials are preferably arranged in a bundle in a dispenser means so that the sides of the abrasive materials provided with an abrasive agent face the same direction. The object of the present invention is to release the abrasive material from the dispenser means in a simpler way, simultaneously preventing any protective coverings on the abrasive material from being detached and spread about the working space. Such tabs are arranged on the back side of the abrasive material, the tabs being interconnected. When the abrasive materials of the invention are removed from the dispenser means, the tabs still remain attached to each other.

The secondary attribute within the wells of said first plate is a first physical feature of the first animal and the secondary attribute within the wells of the second plate is a second physical feature of the second animal.

An elongated tablet case is provided which accommodates a plurality of the tablets. The tablet case has a case body, a cover, and knots. The case body is provided with a plurality of narrow groove-like recesses, each one accommodating one tablet, which are disposed in parallel with one another in one row along the longitudinal direction of the case body. The cover is fitted to the case body slidably along the longitudinal direction. The knots temporarily lock the cover relative to the case body every time the cover is slid by a predetermined distance relative thereto.

Abstract: Portable compact disk storage systems that are designed to hold one or more circular compacts disks. The storage systems may be made as a single molded plastic embodiment or a two-part molded plastic embodiment. An exemplary compact disk storage system comprises a lower housing having a plurality of slots formed along one side thereof that are sized to receive individual compact disks therein, and a frictional pad disposed on the plurality of slots. The frictional pad provides a frictional surface that assists removal of the compact disks from the storage system. An upper housing is coupled to the lower housing by way of a living hinge. A locking mechanism is provided for locking the lower and upper housings together when the storage system is closed.

Abstract: A transportation pack for spiral springs of throttle bodies, in particular for motor vehicles, having a housing with a bottom and a cover. The spiral springs have an outer end and an inner end, and is intended to protect the spiral springs in a particularly reliable manner against contaminants and in addition to be reusable. For this purpose, at least the bottom and the cover of the housing are manufactured from stable and cleanable material. The spiral springs can be fitted in each case by their inner end in a cut-out of a rod, it being the case that the spiral springs, when fitted, radially surround the rod. Abstract: A packaging device is provided for packaging at least one disc-shaped item such as, for example, a recording media disc such as a CD, a CD-ROM or a DVD. The packaging device includes a first member for the storage of disc-shaped media in a chamber or cavity, which packaging device may be attached to any container used for the storage of materials other than the disc-shaped media. The first member includes means for maintaining the disc media in a stable state within the chamber, said means comprising a fugitive glue or other temporary adhesive applied to the non-media surface of the disc-media, allowing the disc-media to be removably attached to the interior surface of the chamber. The disc-shaped media may be sealed within the inner chamber by means of shrink-wrapped plastic, a foil seal or a paperboard seal.

Abstract: Discs are held locked in a tray by flex arms with disc-retaining extensions overlying inner peripheral areas adjacent the central opening of the uppermost disc. A push button is held within a disc-centering boss. Lock tab detents extending from the push button hold the push button above an inner edge of an annular shelf on the centering boss. The push button is connected to the flex arms with goose neck connectors. Pressing inward on the flex arms tends to move the goose necks to draw the push button downward. In the locked, tamper-evident position, the lock tabs prevent the push button from moving downward, and thus hold the disc-retaining extensions over inner surface areas of the disc.

Abstract: A sleeve and a blank for forming a sleeve for holding information discs, for example compact discs or the like, comprises a back panel, a partition panel foldably connected to one of the side edges of the back panel, and a front panel foldably connected to the bottom edge of the back panel. The partition panel is folded and disposed over the back panel to define a first disc pocket between the back panel and the partition panel. The front panel is folded and disposed over the partition panel to define a second disc pocket between the partition panel and the front panel as well as to provide a closed bottom for both the first and second disc pockets.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for storing and displaying electronic storage media includes a longitudinally extending rod and a storage media container adapted to receive the rod. A bore is provided in the storage media container through which the rod engages the storage media container. A hinge provided such that the storage media container can be opened while in engagement with the rod. An end bulb adapted to pass through the bore in the storage media container and be in interference contact with the bore at a point during the passing and a base adapted to removably engage an end of the rod is also included. The longitudinally extending rod is mounted such that the rod is able to engage a plurality of storage media containers concurrently. The storage media container is adapted to hingedly open while in engagement with the longitudinally extending rod.

A central portion of each end disk of the stack is engaged with the central protrusion portion of a corresponding endcap. The lip portion surrounds at least one optical disk at each end of the stack. The stack is retained between the endcaps in a package by a wrapping material mounted about the stack and extending to portions of exterior surfaces of the endcaps. In a second embodiment the package includes a spindle member.

Abstract: A tin tag dispensing attachment for roofing guns and the like includes a housing containing a chamber for receiving a cylindrical cartridge containing a stack of disk-shaped tin tags. The cartridge includes a vertical tubular resilient wall containing a longitudinal slit running the length thereof, the bottom end of the cartridge being expandable by an expansion device carried by the housing, thereby to release the tin tag stack for longitudinal displacement relative to the cartridge wall from a supported position to a released position, whereupon the lowermost tin tag of the released stack is positioned for displacement from the tag feeding station to the tag nailing station.

Abstract: A cookie container comprises a base having a bottom wall and an upstanding side wall surrounding the bottom wall. One portion of the side wall forms a pair of integral ramps for supporting respective generally straight rows of cookies at an angle relative to the bottom wall. The ramps are angled slightly away from each other such that an interior angle between the ramps (as viewed from an interior of the base) is greater than 180 degrees. By angling the ramps away from each other, the rows of cookies extending from the respective ramps into an interior of the base diverge away from each other. This, in turn, assists in showcasing cookies supported by the ramps for better viewing because a consumer can readily see the generally flat top of at least one cookie from a greater viewing angle than if the cookies in both rows extended in the same direction.

Each sequential finger of each cushion engaging every other wafer. Each finger having an arm portion and a wafer engaging portion. The wafer engaging portion comprising a curved convex surface to provide minimal vertical line contact with the circumferential outer surface of the wafer without providing axial constrainment of the wafer. The base portions are attached to the inside facing door panels by a plurality of attachment portions each comprising a split shank portion that extends through the aperture and a plurality of flange portions on the ends of the split shank portions for securing the base portions to the inside panel.

Abstract: A cassette for supporting substantially planar objects such as photomasks, glass plates or semiconductor wafers during processing. The cassette is composed of bars connected at each end to an endpiece. Arms which form part of the endpiece are hinged to permit the side bars of the cassette to move inwardly and outwardly from one another when objects are inserted in the cassette. A bridge can connect an upper portion of the arms. The bridge can be used to lift the cassette and cause flexing of the cassette to ensure better retention while the cassette is being lifted.

Abstract: A package is provided for cushioning a crushable article having a rounded edge. The package includes an outer wrapper structurally supported from the inside by inflated or inflatable cushions and by articles packaged in the package. The package tightly conforms to the shape of the article or stack of articles packaged therein thus minimizing space requirements. The inflated or inflatable cushions may be disposed along the inside of the outer wrap to support at least one face, and side edges of the package. The positioning of the cushions and the outer shape of the package are such that the package can be laid flat on a face thereof, stacked one on top of another, stood up on a side edge thereof, or stood up on an end thereof.
