For Cylinder Patents (Class 206/446)
  • Patent number: 11737593
Abstract: An insulated beverage sleeve assembly includes a cylinder that insertably receives a beverage container. A first flap is movably attached to the cylinder to close the cylinder. A second flap is movably attached to the cylinder to close the cylinder. A top insulator is releasably matable to the first flap to engage the beverage container. A bottom insulator is releasably matable to the second flap to engage the beverage container. Each of the top insulator and the bottom insulator are comprised of a thermally insulating material. A cooling sleeve is insertable into the cylinder to surround the beverage container. Moreover, the cooling sleeve is comprised of a refrigeratable material such that the cooling sleeve can be refrigerated thereby facilitating the cooling sleeve to cool the beverage container.

  • Patent number: 11540510
Abstract: A storage rack for storing and retrieving products to be maintained at a desired cryogenic temperature is provided. The storage rack includes an elongate mounting bar carrying a plurality of shelves, and an elongate stop bar that extends generally parallel to the mounting bar. The shelves are independently rotatable relative to the mounting bar towards and away from the stop bar, thereby enabling alignment of all of the shelves when the storage rack is to be stored, and also enabling easy access to each of the individual shelves. A handle projects upwardly and horizontally in a curved configuration from the stop bar and the mounting bar to provide a gripping surface for moving the storage rack. The shelves receive cylindrical vial containers with threadably removable lids to make retrieval and replacement of sample vials quick to perform, thereby avoiding temperature-induced damage to other samples in the storage rack.

  • Patent number: 11312532
Abstract: A shelf-ready packaging (SRP) and method for transporting and displaying food products are provided, the SRP configured to be efficient in transporting a high number of the food products while also still being able to fit on a retail store shelf. To this end, the SRP includes a cover element and a base tray including first and second tray portions connected along a single tear line. To convert the SRP from a first transport configuration to a second display configuration, the cover element is lifted off the base tray and the first and second tray portions are separated along the tear line, which thereby changes the overall length of the SRP such that it can fit on the standard retail store shelf. The SRP provides a clean, uniform appearance when in the second display configuration while providing maximum visibility and access to the food products stored therein.

  • Patent number: 11280804
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to a carrier configured to hold and transport a vessel with a barcode label in an automation system in in vitro diagnostics (IVD) environment, with a plurality of peripheral readers able to read the barcode label. The reading of the barcode label on the vessel loaded into the carrier is achieved without the need to align (either manually or automatically) the barcode to the peripheral readers. A dual spring arrangement provides for consistent vessel capture when loading the vessel into the carrier and for retention in the carrier during transport operations. A centrally-located spring housing provides efficient space utilization. A mirrored dual slot design is provided so that an unobstructed space for each slot is complimentary such that a completely unobstructed view of the vessel is constructed by imaging the same vessel in both slots (one after another) and fusing the resulting data.

Another object of the reusable protective enclosure system is the construction of an airtight enclosure, which is simple and inexpensive to manufacture. Other advantages of the invention are that the inner receptacle be it made of glass or other fragile material, can be readily and repeatedly accessed, removed for sterilization or recycling and replaced for continued use.

Abstract: A blank configured to form a package is provided. The blank may include a cover panel, a back panel, a top panel, and an elevating panel. The elevating panel and the back panel may cooperate to form a compartment when formed into a package. The top panel may include apertures that align with aligning apertures in the elevating panel. The cover panel may be pivoted between a closed configuration in which the apertures are covered and an open configuration in which the apertures are uncovered. Accordingly, a user may view the contents of the compartment when the cover panel is in the open configuration. The compartment may be employed to store cartridges for an aerosol delivery device. A related method for forming the blank into the package is also provided.

Abstract: An oxygen storage cylinder is stored in an interior cabin of an aircraft by providing a generally cylindrical envelope of flexible material receiving the cylinder therein and securing the envelope to a fixed seat frame. Circumferential straps are secured to a cylindrical wall portion of the envelope at spaced apart positions along the length thereof for securing the envelope and cylinder therein to an elongate frame member of the seat frame. End straps secured to intersecting frame members prevent longitudinal sliding of the envelope and cylinder therein relative to the elongate frame member of the fixed seat frame. The envelope protects the cylinder from direct contact with the frame to prevent friction or vibration damage to the cylinder while fixing the position of the cylinder in the interior cabin for the safety of surrounding passengers in the event of turbulence.
