The interface portion may include a housing wall which defines a channel spanning from the proximal end to the distal end. The channel may be open at the proximal and distal end. The containment assembly may further comprise only two pierceable septa configured to form a barrier to the channel. The containment assembly may further comprise a variable-volume housing portion having a variable volume chamber. The variable-volume portion chamber of the variable-volume housing portion may be in fluid communication with the distal end of the channel.

Abstract: The invention relates to a handling device for a valuable article that is usable as a means of payment and is of flat extent or punctiform. The handling device comprises a carrier element of flat extent that is foldable and bendable into a wave form and at least one valuable article fixed thereto. Moreover, the invention relates to a method for manufacturing a handling device for a valuable article.

Abstract: A contact lens dispensing container includes an upwardly opening receptacle, peelable cover sheet, and applicator. The receptacle is to receive a contact lens and storage solution, and the container having a peripheral flange providing a planar engagement surface surrounding the receptacle. The cover sheet is securable to the engagement surface to seal the container and peelable from the engagement surface to allow lens removal. The applicator includes a handle having first end and second end. The handle is pivotably mounted on the flange and having a carrier at the first end and a hand grip at the second end. The applicator is moveable between stowed position and deployed position, wherein in stowed position the carrier is received in the receptacle with the handle not extending above the engagement surface, and in deployed position the applicator is rotated from the stowed position so that the carrier is above the engagement surface.

Abstract: A carrier for a blister pack includes a first panel having an opening for movably receiving a blister of the blister pack, and a second panel having one or more dispensing openings aligned with the first panel opening. The first panel and the second panel slidably receive the blister pack there between. The carrier includes a blocking tab between the first and second panels that is selectively moveable between a blocking position and a dispensing position. When the blocking tab is in its blocking position it prevents movement of the blister in the first panel opening into alignment with a dispensing opening, thereby preventing dispensing of the blister's contents through the dispensing opening. When the blocking tab is in the dispensing position, it permits the blister to be moved into alignment with a dispensing opening for dispensing the blister's contents.

Abstract: A series of electronic components formed using a carrier tape. The carrier tape is adapted to enable smoothly picking up even small-sized electronic components with a suction nozzle. The carrier tape has housing holes housing electronic components therein. The housing holes are arranged in the longitudinal direction. A top tape and a bottom tape are attached to the upper and lower surfaces of the carrier tape. Interval portions between the housing holes are provided with concave slots in their lower surfaces, thereby forming air flow paths. The air flow paths form air passages which enable smoothly picking up the small-sized electronic components using a suction nozzle.

Abstract: A point of sale device includes a card mounted on a hanger on a vertically extending mounting structure of a retail shop. The card carries a reusable storage container in which articles are stored. The container includes a body with an opening closed by a transparent, sealable, removable and re-sealable lid. The container is mounted on the card and the device is mounted on the hanger so a prospective purchaser can see the articles through the transparent lid. In one embodiment, the body includes a permanent magnet abutting the base.

The main body portion 1 includes a rectangular storage recess portion (1a) recessed at a center thereof and a plane portion for seal member adhesion (1b) provided around the storage recess portion (1a). The tray and cover define a cavity for displaying or packing an article for sale. The tray and panel are configured to define a channel to slidably receive the cover. The tray may have a peripheral flange that includes a raised rail. The panel may be secured with respect to the tray flange and may engage at least a portion of the rail. Interaction between the rail and the panel during manufacture or assembly of the package may create a space between the tray and the panel to form the channel. The cover may be inserted within the channel formed by the tray flange, rail and panel. In use, the cover may slide within the channel to selectively open and close the package. The package may include one or more catches, stops or snap lock features to further secure and stabilize the package.

The seal rib is adapted to clip the pair of transparent lids, so that the transparent lids and the main body are sealed to prevent dust from entering the packing box. The packing box can be assembled and disassembled repeatedly for a consumer to check the cell phone protection cases. The packing box has a better seal effect and can be used conveniently.

Abstract: A clamp for an elongated tube style white such as a versa tube. The clamp has one fixed side that holds the versa tube's mounting structure therein. The other side of the clamp is movable, and pivots between an open position and a closed position. In the closed position, the lamp is held into place, and in the open position the lamp can be removed. A single screw that holds the clamp into the open or closed position is knurled and hence the device can be removed without any tools. The two sides of the clamp occupy different longitudinal positions so that they can be placed directly next to each other, and one opened without moving or disturbing the other since the two sides are in different longitudinal positions.

Upper and lower flaps are provided at opposite ends of each of the sheets. Upper and lower creases corresponding to the upper and lower flaps are provided such that the upper and lower creases are foldable about the corresponding creases. At least one crease is provided to the hanging portion opposite the perforation for bending the hanging portion. The hanging portion defines a slot for guiding a hook or other standard display means from which the unitary piece may be suspended. In a display configuration, the upper and lower flaps extend coplanar with the respective sheets from which they extend.

Complimentary detents and indentations are provided for securing the door in the open position or the closed position, the detents being positioned on one of the back portion and the door, and the indentations being positioned on another of the back portion and door.

Abstract: A display package for scissors consists of an elongated, generally flat member having a top and bottom end, a raised hollow pedestal means mounted adjacent to said bottom end of said member, the pedestal means having a top portion with means operable to secure a finger ring of a pair scissors thereto and support the scissors horizontally above the card with arch means located adjacent to said top end of said member operable to restrain the swing of at least one of the blades of a pair of scissors mounted on the top portion of the pedestal when the handles of such scissors are manipulated by a customer. It is preferred that the top of the pastel include means for rotation of the connection with the scissors so that a greater range of manipulation is available to a prospective customer. In addition the card can include a clear cover if desired.

Abstract: A rupturable bubble package for containing a sanitized implement such as, for example, a drinking straw, a toothpick or medical instruments. The bubble package is characterized by its construction from a flexible, substantially impervious material capable of maintaining a positive pressure of air or other gaseous fluids within the package once it is sealed. The package is constructed of front, back, top and bottom panels. All of the panels are adhered to each by an application of glue. Two of the panels are adhered to each other by a weaker glue. When finger pressure is applied to an outside surface of the bubble package, the panels adhered with the weaker glue will burst open. At that location, one of panels has an extended portion thereon constituting a finger grip. When the finger grip is grasped by the fingers that applied pressure to the package, that panel may be pulled from the package to gain access to an interior of the package.

Abstract: A card and blister package for small articles of commerce has a clear plastic blister piece, a card and a retainer piece. The blister piece had an article-receiving cavity and a flange extends along the upper edge of the cavity, and pluralities of upwardly extending locking posts are spaced apart along the flange. The card has openings for receiving therethrough the locking posts and the retainer piece had a plurality of integral downwardly-opening locking caps spaced therealong, whereby when the posts are engaged through the card openings the caps can be snapped into locking engagement with the blister posts so as to secure the card to the blister. Each cap is encircled by an arrangement of perforations, so as to detachably connect the cap to the retainer piece and whereby twisting of the cap will cause it to shear free of the retainer, and rotation through about 90 degrees will cause the caps to unlock from the posts, allowing the package to be opened.

Abstract: A blister package and a method of forming and filling the blister package are disclosed. The blister package includes a first member having a 3-dimensional bubble and a peripheral flange. A major portion of the peripheral flange is folded to create at least one channel and a minor portion of the peripheral flange has a hook hole formed therethrough. A securement mechanism is formed with the minor portion of the peripheral flange which permits the blister package to be opened and closed. The securement mechanism includes a hinged tab and first and second cooperating attachment members. The blister package further includes a second member sized and configured to be slideably received within the at least one channel when the securement mechanism is in an open position. The second member is retained within the at least one channel when the securement mechanism is in a closed position.

Abstract: A battery package comprises a rear member, a front member pivotally connected to the rear member and batteries. The package has an open and a closed position. At least one of the front member and the rear member include support structure for supporting the batteries in the interior space. The rear member includes a foot allowing the battery package to stand substantially upright on a horizontal surface. The front member and the rear member include aligned openings for allowing the package to be hung on a rod. Therefore, the package can alternatively be positioned on the horizontal surface and be hung on a rod by extending the rod through the aligned openings for display purposes. The package can also include a resealable closure allowing the front member and the rear member to be maintained in the closed position.

Abstract: A package comprising a rear member pivotally connected to a front member at a pivot. The package has a closed position wherein the front member is engaged with the rear member to define an interior space therebetween and an open position allowing access to the interior space. At least one of the front member and the rear member includes support structure for supporting products in the interior space. A projection having an aperture for allowing the package to be hung on a rod extends from the front member and the rear member. The rear member includes a foot allowing the package to stand substantially upright on a horizontal surface. The front member and the rear member include a latch and a slot, with the latch being configured to be inserted into the slot for maintaining the package in the closed position.

Abstract: A pre-packaged dental treatment system including a dental treatment device having a barrier layer configured for placement over at least a portion of a person's teeth, a dental treatment composition (e.g., a bleaching composition) disposed adjacent to the barrier layer, and a sealed packaging container within which the dental treatment device is disposed. At least a portion of the packaging container includes a laminated polymer material that is substantially impervious to water molecules, which prevents the dental treatment composition from drying out. The laminated polymer material is optionally also a barrier to oxygen molecules.

Abstract: A childproof package consists of a rectangular folding box of cardboard with at least one strip-like blister pack (B) inside, which can be pulled out from one of the short, narrow sides of the folding box. The folding box is designed so that it can be reclosed in such a way as to be childproof again, and the folding box and the blister pack (B) have cooperating means (223, 229), which are designed so that the blister pack (B) cannot be pulled completely out of the folding box.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a commodity package, comprising a hanging member that has a hole for hanging, and a holding body for holding an article. The holding body has a first cutting portion for separating a first recess and the upper part of a first brim portion from each other, and a second cutting portion for separating a second recess and the upper part of a second brim portion from each other. The hanging member has a third cutting portion for separating the upper part and the lower part thereof from each other. The first, second and third cutting portions are provided at different heights. This makes it possible for the commodity package, when hung, to maintain favorable balance and obtain sufficient intensity.

The container is dimensioned to fit onto a shelf in a retail store and includes a base, a lid and a plurality of receptacles formed in at least one of the base and the lid. A method for offering for sale a liquid cosmetic product is also disclosed.

Abstract: An improved blister package construction is provided. The inventive blister package construction allows for different visual presentations of the packaged products that would otherwise not be achievable with conventional blister packages. The blister package of the invention has one or two thermoplastic blisters designed and positioned on a backing card such that, when the card is folded along a transverse score line, the one or two blisters will lock together and the backing card will be formed into an “L” shaped configuration.

Abstract: A blister card carrier and methods of inserting and removing a blister card from the blister card carrier are disclosed. The blister card carrier is designed to hold a blister card in a substantially planar state. The blister card carrier may include a bottom section having a plurality of bottom rails, and a top section having a plurality of top rails. The bottom section and the top section may from one or more slots configured to receive a blister card. Each slot may be substantially perpendicular to the bottom section and the top section. Each bottom rail may be configured to contact a bottom surface of a received blister card. Each top rail may be configured to contact a top surface of a received blister card. The blister card carrier may be configured to position a received blister card in substantially the same plane as the bottom and top section.
