Abstract: A tool box with vertically stacked monolithic trays. Each tray has pockets specifically shaped to receive complementary tools. The trays have upstanding cantilevered posts, which can space apart the superjacent tray. Alternatively, the posts can be received in complementary sockets of superjacent trays to prevent undue lateral movement while in the tool box. The post and socket geometry can be constructed to index the order in which trays are stacked and index how individual trays are oriented for optimal and sequenced access to the tools.

Abstract: In one or more embodiments, the exemplary containers described herein include a corner structure that can facilitate stacking while limiting reliance on satellite rings. For example, in certain embodiments, a container includes a step-like corner structure with a series of stackable portions. Thus, in these embodiments, more containers can be stacked together in a smaller space, such that shipping and manufacturing processes are more efficient and less costly than with traditional containers.

Abstract: Methods of nesting parts for 3D printing and of modularly managing the 3D printing as well as corresponding modules are provided. Methods split received part models into model batches, and repeatedly, set consecutive model batches into printing space(s) that are being gradually filled, by defining, for each part model in the model batch, a roadmap with respect to the occupied space and a set of positioning rules, and independently from the other part models in the model batch, and optimizing, in parallel for the part models in the model batch, a part positioning scheme for the model batch parts. The methods may further manage the allocation of printing spaces with respect to incoming printing requests to incorporate the respective parameters into the parameters of the nesting process. The methods exhibit a high level of process parallelization, at all levels of space and parts' allocation and nesting.

The storage tote system also includes a lid with an upper surface having complimentary recessed features on opposite ends, and a peripheral, downwardly facing groove. Each hinged latch is configured to be rotated about their pivot pins so that the upper flange is rotated onto the complimentary recessed feature. An aperture formed within the recessed feature of the lid's upper surface receives the engagement tab to securing the lid onto the body. Each hinged latch can also be rotated outwardly, away from the lid in order to disengage the engagement tab without deforming the lid.
