Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a medication delivery system including a medication administration device, a medication within the medication administration device, a container defining a cavity receiving the medication administration device, and a cap attached to the container and sealing the medication administration device within the cavity. The medication administration device includes an actuator extending from a body and operable to expel the medication by depressing the actuator into the body. The cap includes hold down members positioned to bear against the body of the medication administration device to prevent movement of the medication administration device toward the cap beyond a predetermined distance. The medication administration device is thereby prevented, inter alia, from prematurely discharging the medication during storage and transport.

Abstract: Devices and methods for storing and transporting substances. Such a device includes a base having a compartment for containing the substance, a lid closing the compartment and coupled to the base to selectively permit access to the compartment within the base, a cavity defined by the lid, the base, or at least in part a combination thereof, and an unlocking mechanism that immobilizes the lid relative to the base when the compartment is closed by the lid and releases the lid to enable the lid to pivot relative to the base to open the compartment. The unlocking mechanism is recessed within the cavity a distance from an opening of the cavity at an exterior of the device, and the unlocking mechanism is sufficiently recessed to be accessible with an adult's finger but not a child's finger.

A first retaining slot is arranged at a bottom of the lid body, a second retaining slot is arranged at a top of the cartridge main body, and the elastic member are disposed in the retaining slots, the first engaging portion is detached from the second engaging portion and the elastic member is in an extended state when the lid body is in the opened state.

The container generally includes top and bottom parts connected to each other via a film joint in a unilaterally pivotal fashion, and latched to each other in the closed state, with the top part being biased under the resilience of a repeatedly profiled resilient body in the opening direction in reference to the bottom part such that upon actuation of the latching device the top part pivots open from the bottom part under the force of resilience it is pivoted open and remains in the open position, with here the repeatedly profiled resilient body being made from a soft-elastic elastomer plastic material and fastened unilaterally at flaps connected thereto with the same material, at the two facial sides of the top part and the bottom part.

Abstract: A programmable pill box assembly includes a pill box that has a plurality of compartments therein for containing pills. A plurality of doors is each hingedly coupled to the pill box. Each of the doors is aligned with a respective one of the compartments for opening and closing the compartments. A sensing unit is coupled to the pill box to sense when each of the doors is opened or closed. A transmission unit is removably coupled to the pill box and the transmission unit transmits an alert signal when the sensing unit senses that a respective one of the doors has not been opened at a predetermined time. A bracelet is worn on a wrist of the user and the bracelet is in wireless communication with the transmission unit. The bracelet vibrates to remind the user to take the pills in one of the compartments in the pill box.

Abstract: A pill dispenser that includes a container and a cap having a pill dispensing chamber that is configured to receive a single pill. The container has a neck extending from the upper segment of the container walls that has an aperture made therethrough. The cap, which also has an aperture in its annular edge is rotatably mounted to the neck of the container. Upon inverting the pill dispenser, a pill will be received in the dispensing chamber. Thereafter, the cap is rotated a sufficient distance to cause the aperture on the cap to align with the aperture in the neck—thereby forming a passage through which a single pill is dispensed.

Abstract: A dispensing container for a medication blister pack is formed of a front holder portion having a plurality of openings aligned with the blisters and a rear catching container snap fastened to the holder portion to catch and hold medications which can be released by the user operating a flap. The catching container includes an integrally molded leg portion hinged thereon for movement to extend rearwardly to support the container in an upstanding position from a horizontal support surface. The holder portion is formed as a separate molded portion defining a front face of the dispensing container at which the blister pack is exposed with top and bottom edges each forming a slot defined between the panel and an overlying component so as to allow the blister pack slide along the panel to lie on the panel with the top and bottom edges trapped by the slots.

The liquid is permitted to enter the volume defined by the inner housing wall and become absorbed by the tissue upon the exertion of force on the upper cover, which causes the tissue to press against and deflect the lower cover in such a manner as to cause the lower cover to dislodge from sealing engagement with the inner cylinder.

Abstract: Tamper-evident package comprises a container, a primary cap, and a secondary cap. The container comprises a sidewall defining a chamber and a rim defining a mouth to the chamber. The primary cap is removably-attachable to the rim of the container to selectively close the mouth of the container. The secondary cap is positioned over the primary cap to prevent removal of the primary cap when positioned thereover. The secondary cap includes a single-use lock, such as a cable tie, to secure the secondary cap in position over the primary cap. The package thus provides evidence that someone has tampered with or attempted to tamper with the container if the single-use lock is removed or damaged. Method of using the tamper-evident package is also disclosed.

Features included in the cap, schedule display, and cylindrical container interoperates to ensure that the displayed day-and-time indication is advanced when the cap is removed and replaced. The displayed day-and-time indication is relatively large and clear, to facilitate viewing by vision-impaired users, and the schedule-advancement mechanism is robust and reliable. In addition, the cap and built-in schedule display include features that allow the displayed day-and-time indication to be set to an initial day-and-time indication.

Preferably, the disk portion of one such retainer when placed against adjacently threaded bait or lures will retain them on the hook during use until the bait or lure is intentionally removed.

The sleeve includes an internal locking restriction secured to a wall thereof, and the card includes a tail end having an integral latch. The sleeve includes visually defined squeeze locations on opposite side edges thereof that correspond to a location of the internal locking restriction.
