  • Patent number: 8328031
Abstract: Intended to prevent the contents of a bottle from being consumed by unauthorized people, both in the case of alcoholic beverages and other hazardous liquids, it consists of a cap itself (47), a sort of upside-down bowl, with a tubular axial prolongation and (46) to guide the joining of the base body onto the pouring neck (44). It attaches to the bottle, the said bowl (47) resting its mouth on a group of outer numbered wheels (50), which in turn rest below on a stopper-bearing (54) that is crossed by a hook (57) resting in turn on the inner sets of wheels (49), which can be moved against the hook (57) by a spring (61). These inner wheels (49) have notches for joining radial plugs (48), notches that are conveniently placed with respect to said plugs to allow the detaching of the cap itself and the consequent opening of the bottle.

  • Patent number: 8281929
Abstract: A label for a prescription pharmacy bottle includes a panel, a tab, and a flange. The panel defines a first side edge, a second side edge, and an aperture extending through the panel and positioned adjacent the second side edge. The tab extends from the first side edge away from the panel and rotates about the first side edge to selectively move between a first position, in which the tab substantially covers the panel, and a second position, in which the tab extends away from the panel. The flange is initially formed to extend from the second side edge away from the panel and defines a substantially planar surface coated with an adhesive. The flange is folded about the second side edge to extend behind the panel such that the adhesive on the flange extends across and is exposed through the aperture. Other labels, combinations, and methods are also disclosed.

Abstract: Primary packages configured for display and sale without secondary packaging are stacked horizontally in a product display tray. The consumer-facing surface of the back panel of the product display tray may contain graphics including product information provided on the primary package's principal display panel (which is typically faced towards consumers). Thus, consumers may readily view the product information provided on the principal display panel as primary packages are removed from the product display tray and principal display panels of remaining primary packages are hidden from view by one or more walls of the product display tray. The individual primary packages may be contoured specifically to inhibit lateral relative shifting while in a horizontally stacked configuration.

  • Patent number: 8066121
Abstract: A package for containing tablets or like separate dispensable items is provided having so-called child-resistant and senior-friendly storage and dispensing properties. An elongate outer sleeve houses a separate blister card carrying tablets or like items. The card slides into the sleeve to a storage position in which the card is housed within the outer sleeve and slides in the reverse direction to a dispensing position in which the card at least partially extends from the open end of the sleeve. The sleeve includes an internal locking restriction secured to a wall thereof, and the card includes a tail end having an integral latch. The locking restriction and latch cooperate to form a locking engagement thereby locking the card within the sleeve when the card is in the storage position. The sleeve includes visually defined squeeze locations on opposite side edges thereof that correspond to a location of the internal locking restriction.
