Abstract: According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a package comprising: a sheet of flexible film material folded along a longitudinal direction to bring edges of the sheet together, the edges being sealed to form a longitudinal rear seam; a first end of the folded sheet is sealed by a first end seam, and a second end of the folded sheet is sealed by a second end seam to form a space for items, wherein said space is defined by the sealed ends and a side wall formed of the folded sheet; an opening initiation point in one of the end seams, the opening initiation point configured to provide a point for initiating tearing of the flexible film material to form an opening; a tear control element configured to guide tearing initiated from the initiation point along a longitudinal direction, from the first end seam to the second end seam and across the sidewall, upon applying a tearing force.

Abstract: A modular food and/or drink carrier is provided. The modular carrier can be formed from one or more modular components that are interconnected together. Each modular carrier includes a receiving portion for receiving food and/or drink items and an overlapping portion for connecting to another modular component. Each modular component includes a first locking means formed from a protrusion and slot and a second locking means formed from an accordion component and a receiving slot. The first and second locking means provided on a first modular component interlock together with the first and second locking means provided on a second modular component when the two modular components are connected together. Each modular component can include a buttress support means that engages a portion of another modular component to provide additional support to the modular carrier when the two modular components are connected together.

The packaging box comprises a container element and a lid element, each comprising at least one upright longitudinal sidewall and at least one lateral foldable sidewall, wherein the longitudinal sidewall and the foldable sidewall of the container element and the lid element engage with each other defining a track, which can be employed for displacing the toy car thereon.

Abstract: The present invention is a folded box that is made from a single stamped blank of paperboard. When folded, a box is formed that contains both a food trough for holding food and a beverage rail for holding beverage cups. The paperboard blank has a base panel. A front panel, a rear panel and two side panels are coupled to the base panel. Slots are formed in the side panels. A cup receptacle panel extends from the rear panel. Locking tabs extend from the cup receptacle panel. The folded box is configurable between a folded configuration and an unfolded configuration. When in the unfolded configuration, the locking tabs on the cup receptacle panel extend through the slots in the side panels, therein mechanically interconnecting the cup receptacle panel to the side panels.

The base may also fit inside the container lid when folded, and the bottom lid of the container lid includes at least two semi-circular shaped depressions.

Abstract: A foldable food carton including a collapsible condiment container holder is provided. The food carton may be constructed from a single blank and is capable of being folded into a substantially flat configuration for transportation or storage. The condiment container holder is designed go from a collapsed position, where it is folded substantially flat against the sidewall panel of the carton, to an extended position, where it is capable of holding a single-serving condiment container in close proximity to the carton. The condiment container may consist of a holding section hingedly connected to a sidewall panel of the carton and a support leg hingedly connected to the holding section and capable of supporting the holding section when it is extended horizontally from the sidewall panel. The holding section can include an opening with tabs therein in order to receive and secure a condiment container for use with the carton.

The proximal end of the retainer sleeve includes a top panel that covers the top surface of the tray at the proximal end of the tray. The end walls each include a pair of spaced apart end columns A handle extends across the pair of spaced apart columns at each end wall. The height of the handle is aligned with a portion of the bottle having a reduced diameter. For example, some bottles have a tapered or contoured middle portion to facilitate grasping the bottle. This allows the handle to be positioned closer to the bottles, which reduces the overall length of the crate. The reduced length of the crate then permits a reduced width of the crate per the required ratio for cross-stacking. The reduced width then permits a full bottle capture on the bottom surface of the crate.

Abstract: A cupcake tray has spikes, such as paperboard spikes, that extend into a cupcake cavity. The spikes prevent the cupcake from popping up and out of the insert when the cupcake box is jarred. The spikes easily fold down when the cupcake is inserted, but provide resistance in the upward direction when the cupcake box is jarred. The cupcake tray has creased panels disposed about its outer periphery to fold downward to support the cupcake tray in a cupcake box at a desired height. Each cupcake cavity in the cupcake tray has cutouts, typically semi-circular cutouts, for a user to insert their fingers to remove the cupcakes without damaging them.

The inner tray and inner tray cover may be supported by and enclosed in a container made out of a metal such as pewter. A retainer may also be supportable on the top of the container, shaped for holding a forceps or tweezers. An outer tray may be used for supporting and enclosing the container and optional retainer. The outer tray may be sealed with a removable sheet adhesively attached to a rim of the outer tray. Different configurations of the inner tray and inner tray cover may be used for different packaging configurations.

While this system has general utility in processing diverse materials, the system is configured for sample processing of biological specimens to provide an enriched fraction suitable for detection, enumeration and identification of target cells by appropriate analytical methodologies.

A series of separate receptacles with frusto-conical walls are positioned across the base section. The receptacles are not integral with (or adhered to) the base section. Instead, each of the receptacles is nested in one of a series of apertures in the base section. Each receptacle has a flange that extends outwardly from and surrounds the opening on the receptacle. The flange has a top surface that is wider than the aperture in which the receptacle is nested, preventing the receptacle from falling through the aperture. A flexible, removable top sheet is sealed to a part of the top surface of the base section, sealing the medicine within the walls of the receptacles and preventing the receptacles from being lifted out of the aperture until the top sheet is peeled back. The top sheet may be adhered to the base section along lines of adhesion that surround each of the openings.
