Abstract: A method of displaying merchandise creates a more user friendly display that facilitates quicker and easier shopping for a consumer. The display includes an information communication hierarchy that conveys various levels of information to consumers. The hierarchy includes branding information, product category information, product category information in an alternate orientation, indexing information and product specific information. The levels provide navigational directions to the consumer to direct them to a small subset of merchandise being displayed that would meet the consumer's needs.

Abstract: A container assembly is provided that includes a base container that has an upper opening and an upper container mounted in covering relation over the upper opening of the base container. A linkage connects the upper container to the base container in a manner that allows the upper container to be displaced from the covering relation over the upper opening of the base container, so as to permit access into the base container through the upper opening. A support assembly is spaced from the base container when the upper container is displaced from the covering relation over the upper opening of the base container and wheels are disposed toward a lower portion of the container assembly. A handle is provided for rollingly transporting the container assembly on the wheels in a tilted configuration.

Abstract: An “accordion-like” product display container with a plurality of compartments is provided. The product display container has a collapsed configuration in which the panels are folded up and an expanded display configuration in which the panels form areas for holding product to be displayed. Each compartment in the plurality of compartments further comprises at least one rigidity flap, e.g., a pair of rigidity flaps. The rigidity flaps are deployed into a rigidifying position to stiffen the product display container are resist compression from the expanded display configuration to the collapsed configuration. The display container may be transitioned from the collapsed state to the rigid state solely by deploying the rigidity flaps. The rigidity flaps may be held in place by bottom panels of the compartments.

Abstract: A system and method for shipping and displaying merchandise items includes a shipping display container having a front, back, and two side walls, a bottom, and dividers between the front and back walls for aligning merchandise items in rows. The container includes notches on both side walls adapted to engage a support frame and maintain the container in stable position. Such a system and method for provide for efficient utilization of space in both shipping and display of merchandise items and for stable positioning of shipping containers during shipping in a retail display.

Abstract: A shipping and display fixture suitable for greeting cards and other similar flat merchandise, which not only holds the greeting cards during shipment, but can be readily converted from a shipping container to a visually pleasing and functional display fixture for displaying the greeting cards at a retail site.
