The opening includes an engagement edge for engaging the container. The cover also includes a handle foldably connected to the central panel.

Abstract: A product display can include a product support structure, and a flip-up display header movably and integrally coupled to the product support structure. The display header is automatically movable with respect to the product support structure from a retracted shipping position to an extended display position.

Abstract: A gift box is described for housing a plurality of pop-up elements that are automatically presented to a user when a lid of the box is removed. The box includes an interior portion enclosed by a base and sidewalls around its outer periphery. The interior portion of the gift box contains a central tower coupled to four levers that each pivot on a respective sidewall. The central tower and/or the four levers additionally have one or more paper pop-up elements attached thereto that are presented to a user when the box is opened. A band passing through the interior portion of the box stores the mechanical energy necessary to cause the four levers to pivot on the sidewalls, thereby generating the force to move the central tower out of the box when the lid is removed.

A flange depending from each of the side edges of the lid panel and attached to upper outer surfaces of the case sidewalls to secure the cover to the case. A detachable display panel is formed in the lid panel. A detachable protective panel is foldably attached to one side edge of the lid panel by weakened tear lines. The protective panel is attached to the display panel, whereby removal of the protective panel carries with it and removes the display panel to form a display opening in the lid panel for display of and access to product contained in the container.

The 3D pop-out structure forms an internal cavity in which illumination means and other electronic components are contained. One or more sides of the 3D structure are made of translucent or semi-translucent material, creating a screen that can be illuminated from behind by one or more miniature lights, such as LED lights. The light or lights may be connected to an integrated circuit chip that can be programmed with various lighting effects. Abstract: A gift card presenter includes a base portion folded along a fold line and having an inner and outer surface. A support portion is folded along a fold line and includes opposite ends on either side of the support portion fold line, which are secured to the inner surface of the base portion on opposite sides of the base portion fold line. The support portion defines an opening adapted to receive and support a card, which travels through the opening until it engages the base portion. The unfolding of the base portion causes the support portion to unfold and move toward the base portion, which forces the card back through the opening and outward from the support portion, thus creating a pop-up effect.

An uppermost section is monolithically formed with a bottom section wherein the uppermost section is pivotal along a fulcrum axis transverse to a longitudinal axis of the body. First, second and third edges define an outer periphery of the bottom section, and fourth, fifth and sixth edges define an outer periphery of the uppermost section. A bend line indentation extends along the fulcrum axis and defines a line of weakness about which the uppermost section is pivotal. The uppermost section is disposed above a top edge of the litter container, and the bottom section is partially submerged beneath the litter housed within the litter container. The litter remains positioned forwardly of the bottom section. A mechanism affixes the bottom section of the body to an inner surface of the litter container.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a product display. The product display can hold printed materials, literature, and other goods. The product display is a one-piece construction that is flat when it is in an unassembled position. In the assembled position, the product display includes a front panel section, a bottom section connected to the front panel section, and a back section connected to the bottom section. The front panel section connects to the back section either directly or by way of a brace section on the front panel. The product display includes an opening in the panel that holds products in an upright manner. Preferably, one of the bottom panel, back panel or brace section includes a flap. The present product display does not require an added on or formed pocket that extends outwardly from the panel.

Abstract: A cardboard display case for DVDs and the like has a box-like case of folded cardboard with a plurality of shelves on three sides for displaying goods. A retractable pop-up display header extends above the top face of the case near the back. There is a hollow inside the case so that the header can be retracted within the case for shipping. When at a retail store, for example, the header is pulled up to display graphics above the top of the case. A folded cardboard member within the case has a retractable shelf supporting the header when extended above the case. The shelf is folded out of the way when the header is retracted within the case.

Abstract: A package decoration having a foldable panel and pop-up decoration affixed to the panel. The panel and the pop-up decoration are foldable into a flat format, the pop-up decoration folding between folded portions of the panel. The pop-up decoration configured and printed, and the panel printed to provide an occasion specific decoration. The panel may include a printed greeting and other package wrappings, such as ribbons may also be included with the panel and pop-up decoration.

Abstract: An open-topped, open-fronted tray for displaying articles for purchase is provided with a reinforced, drop-down flap for bearing advertising or product information indicia or the like. The drop-down flap has an exposed outer surface, which is contiguous with the remaining outer surfaces of the tray, so that only one side of the flat blank, prior to articulation, needs to be printed or otherwise have indicia applied thereto. A blank for forming the point of purchase display tray, and a method for employing the point of purchase display tray, are also disclosed.

Abstract: This invention provides an improved one-piece displace device and folding carton. The carton can be shipped in a relatively flat configuration, but folds to a useful and interesting three-dimensional shape. Abstract: The present invention refers to a CD self-mailer with a Pop-up holder (20) able to contain a CD, in both an envelope and informative brochure layout. The self-mailer consists of a single sheet of card stock or other planar material folded into three panels (10), whereby the first panel (60) possesses wings (90) on either side of it, as well as an over-flap (100) at its end (110) which is inserted into a aperture (120) on the back of the second panel (70) of the Self-mailer. This serves the purpose of sealing the mailer and containing the CD in an envelope like device. Upon opening the mailer, a rectangular cardboard attachment (20), placed between the second (70) and third (80) panels of the mailer, and containing a slit (140) along its center, pops up and allows the CD to be displayed in a vertical fashion. The said rectangular cardboard attachment sits diagonally between the second (70) and third (80) panels of the mailer.

Abstract: The present invention further provides a display having a header for advertising the product. Once an outer shipping box is removed from the display, the header is moved from its folded, storage position to its extended position. The display is provided with a locking member that locks the header in its extended position. Since the header is attached to the display, the likelihood of the header being lost or misplaced is eliminated. Further, errors in setting up the display are avoided.

An insert for supportably mounting an article of jewelry is received within an interior space of the tray structure. The segmented lid structure is pivotable between first and second positions and includes first, second, third, fourth and fifth parts. Inner side surfaces of the first and second parts of are fixedly secured to outer side surfaces of the bottom and rear walls, respectively.

Abstract: A display arrangement device for displaying information about items being offered to the public includes a generally box-shaped main body, and at least one formation secured to and extending along one of the top, bottom, and side portions of the main body. This formation includes a front wall having a front surface carrying information to be brought to the attention of the observer, and a bracing wall connected to the main body at a back wall and extending therefrom to the front wall to hold the front wall, in a deployed condition of the formation, in substantial parallelism with a vertical plane to present the information to the observer's view. The bracing wall includes two sections and a hinge portion connecting the two sections to one another for folding into juxtaposition with one another in response to the application of external collapsing forces. A shipping container that holds the main body in its entirety has a wall that confines the collapsed formation between itself and the main body.

One end of the sheet is attached to the bottom surface of a box and the other end is attached to the inner surface of a lid hinged to the box. The elements can be spatially unfolded, forming at least one plane parallel to one of the said surfaces when it is substantially perpendicular to the other surface, and so that the scenery construction is folded on itself when the lid is swung down on the box.

Abstract: A system for transporting, storing and displaying consumer products (10) includes a shipping container (40) having a plurality of sides (42), of which at least one of the plurality of sides is a detachable display panel (32). The shipping container (40) is sized to hold one or more consumer items (44). A flexible display and carrying bag (12) has at least one transparent display pouch (30) which is configured to hold the display panel (32). The display bag (12) further includes a resealable opener (22), such as a zipper which can be opened to allow insertion of the shipping container (40) with the display panel (32) removed into the display bag (12) to provide internal structural support to the display bag (12). The display bag (12) can then be easily stacked for storage or displayed on a retail store's selling floor, thus providing easily visible display information (34) and providing protection for the display panel (32) from in-store handling, as well as consumer access to the product (44) for inspection.

Abstract: A greeting card and retaining tray assembly comprised of a greeting card constructed with a pair of foldable panels and having an inner gift receiving receptacle capable of retaining a gift such as a living plant, a bottle of wine, etc. to be presented to a recipient of the card. The receptacle may contain an inner liner enabling the retention of water. In this way, the greeting card serves not only to present a greeting, but also functions as a gift holder for a gift which may be given to the receiver, along with the greeting card. The greeting card and the tray both can be constructed of foldable paper stock material. Initially, flat sheets of paper or paperboard material are provided and folded into both the card and the tray. The tray is preferably triangularly shaped and holds the card in a standing upright position. Moreover, the tray provides room for additional gift items and/or other decorative items.

The package includes a tray for retaining a compact disc and a pop-up display structure overlaying the tray. The display structure contains first and second panels that are hingedly connected to each other such that they are movable between a folded generally flat configuration and an opened configuration in which they are generally perpendicular. Vertical and horizontal pop-up elements are disposed between the panels and are hingedly connected to the panels and to each other such that when the panels are in the folded configuration, the pop-up elements are collapsed and generally flat and when the panels are moved to the opened configuration, the pop-up elements form a self-erected three-dimensional display.

Abstract: A novelty box having a hinged lid and containing a foldable article secured to the interior of the box and the lid so that as the lid is opened the foldable article is unfolded by the opening action of the lid to display the foldable article in an unfolded configuration. Graphics and/or messages on the exterior of the box may correspond to graphics and/or messages on the foldable article and/or the shape of the foldable article.

Abstract: A carton for shipping and displaying articles of merchandise includes a receptacle portion defined by a bottom, a front wall, a rear wall, and a pair of opposed side walls. A display panel, extends vertically from the rear wall, and includes an inner display panel section and an outer display panel section joined together along a display panel fold line, whereby the inner display panel section and the outer display panel section are foldable together along the display panel fold line to form the display panel. An extension section is joined to the display panel and has an extension section fold line adjacent and parallel to its juncture with the display panel, whereby the extension section is foldable along the extension section fold line between a first position in which it extends substantially vertically from the display panel, and a second position in which it extends substantially horizontally to overly the receptacle portion.

Abstract: Sheet material items are fabricated which have an intermediate structure in the form of one or more sheets sandwiched between front and rear covers. One such intermediate panel functions as a facade panel behind which a display panel is located. When the covers are opened, the facade panel forms the front of a box-like structure while the display panel emerges into an attention-attracting orientation from an at least a partially hidden position behind the facade panel. Actuation is achieved through a subpanel that is hinged to the display panel along an angularly oriented line of weakness, causing the display panel to move into its exposed position by sliding along an edge or interior surface of one of the major walls of the box-like structure.

Abstract: A combination pre-recorded disc holder and display in which the display is removably held in the disc holder. The display incorporates three-dimensional elements held between a pair of panels that are opened and closed upon opening and closing the cover of the holder. In the open position, with the display held in the cover, a pre-recorded disc held in the holder may be removed and reinserted without interference from the display. The display may be easily removed from the holder for use elsewhere, and returned to the holder for storage or further use therein.

Abstract: A combination greeting card/gift box comprising a single sheet blank which has been cut and stamped in such a manner as to present a series of interconnected panels which are connected along stamped fold lines having corner tabs attached along stamped fold lines to the panels, set up tabs attached along stamped fold lines to the panels, and inserts cut into the single sheet blank for receiving the set-up tabs to allow arrangement of the combination greeting card/gift box into one of the several configurations. The combination greeting card/gift is provided with cut-out figures also cut and stamped into the single sheet blank. Additionally, a container is secured to one of the interconnected panels, and in the preferred embodiment contains and displays a memento of some type having contextual relevance to the theme of the card.
