With Agitators Patents (Class 209/276)
  • Patent number: 11707767
Abstract: A vibratory screen assembly includes a rigid frame having a pair of parallel side members that are spaced apart such that a space is provided between them. A tappet assembly extending horizontally across the space between the side members includes a horizontal member having opposing ends secured to the frame. A screen placed over the tappet assembly provides a screening medium having a mesh size. A vibrator motor is located at each of the opposing ends of the horizontal member to form a cooperative pair of vibrator motors that induce vibrations in the horizontal member and in the screen. As the screen vibrates, aggregate material that is smaller than the mesh size passes through the screening medium and aggregate material that is larger than the mesh size does not pass through the screening medium.

  • Patent number: 11591868
Abstract: A vibrator separator system has a vibrator separator position and a vibratory basket, a screen assembly positioned in the vibratory separator, and a vibration amplifier coupled to the vibratory separator. The vibratory basket has sides arranged in spaced relation to each other. The vibratory separator has at least one motor affixed thereto. The screen assembly extends between an inlet end and a discharge end of the vibratory basket. The motor is cooperative with the screen assembly so as to impart a vibration frequency to the screen assembly. The vibration amplifier is positioned beneath the screen assembly. The vibration amplifier is cooperative with the screen assembly so as to exert a force against a portion of an underside of the screen assembly.

  • Patent number: 8714363
Abstract: A method and apparatus for supplying filtered slush molding powder or other granular material using a material feeder and angled sieve. The feeder includes a feeding member for moving the granular material, a feeder loading region, and a feeder unloading region. The sieve is positioned relative to the feeder unloading region so that it receives the granular material exiting the feeder. The sieve is positioned at an angle of inclination greater than zero degrees. An agitator that causes vibration of the sieve can be included to help sift the granular material through the angled sieve.

  • Patent number: 7617938
Abstract: An elastic sieving method and corresponding large-sized elastic vibration screen. The present invention utilizes a screening surface and a separate sieving machine. A screen mat located on the sieve box is connected to multiple small rectangular screens. While the machine is vibrating, the resonation of screen rods located on the screen mat connected by small rectangular screens are initiated to screen the material and to cause the vibration of the whole vibration screen and realize the conveyance and lamination of materials. Because the screening surface is in a state of resonance, the vibration strength is strong enough to prevent the screen meshes from becoming plugged, allowing for high sieving efficiency. A bearing in the sieving mechanism is installed with a vibration damping ring, placing the bearing in a resonant state, allowing for a low dynamic stress level, which satisfies the process requirement for large-sized vibration screen excitation units with a screening surface as wide as 4800 mm.

  • Patent number: 7588151
Abstract: A method and apparatus for processing seed or seed samples includes an autonomous sorter which sorts seed by pre-programmed criteria. Optional features can include a counter to autonomously ensure the correct number of seeds to a seed package, a cleaning device, a sheller, and a label applicator. A conveyance path, controlled automatically, can move the seed to appropriate and desired stations during the processing while maintaining the sample segregating from other samples. Validation of the sample can be pre-required and information about the sample can be derived and stored for further use.

  • Publication number: 20040129611
Abstract: A novel separator housed within a shell for the separations of solid and liquid components from a slurry. The separator has two stages, a first static screen and rotating brush assembly section and a second stage, with a screen and a roller press and brush assembly. The slurry is pumped into the separator through a weir box. The slurry flows into the first stage and most of the liquid component flows into a sump located below the two stages. The solid component is then directed into the second stage where the rollers squeeze remaining liquids from the solid component. The brushes then direct the remaining solid component of the slurry into a solids discharge area.
