  • Patent number: 7721895
Abstract: A screening device for the wet screening of a paper fiber suspension comprising at least one screen plate having a plurality of screen openings, a support structure being detachably attachable to the screen plate, a rotor movable adjacent the screen plate and an outlet opening for a portion of the paper fiber suspension passing the screen openings The support structure of the device is characterized by an outer support ring and an inner support ring and at least one middle support element arranged radially between the inner and outer support rings to support the at least one screen plate. Elastic pre-stressing against the screen plate is generated, and as a result of the elastic pre-stressing, the screen plate exerts compressive forces on at least one radially intermediate support element and respectively exerts tensile forces both on the inner support ring and on the outer support ring.

  • Patent number: 7549543
Abstract: In a cylindrical sieve, a first frame 7 is provided with a first ring plate 7a arranged in a radial direction and a ring plate 7b extended inward in an axial direction X of the sieve from an inner end of the first ring plate 7a. The ring plate 7b has an inwardly warped end. A ring projection 2a is fit in a ring-shaped cavity K1 defined by a ring recess 10a and the first frame 7. The ring plate 7b presses the ring projection 2a outward in the radial direction to prevent the ring projection 2a from being slipped off the matching recess. Through holes 7c (counter bores) are formed in the first frame 7 along the axial direction X. Four of the through holes 7c are used to fasten the rods 6 and receive the Phillips head screws 6f seated therein, and the remaining through holes 7c receives Phillips head screws 20 (see FIG. 1) seated therein for reinforced linkage of the first frame 7 with the holder frame 11.

  • Patent number: 7506767
Abstract: A method is provided for manufacturing a screen cylinder, as well as a screen cylinder with screen wires in the axial direction of the screen cylinder set at predefined intervals into a cylindrical screen surface and fastened to support rods, with end rings are arranged at the ends of the screen cylinder. At least one end ring is mounted at one end of the screen cylinder in such a manner that the end ring is arranged to at least one support rod at the ends of the screen wires or closest to the ends of the screen wires without fastening the end ring to the screen wires. When installing the end ring, a shrink fit is formed between the end ring and support rod, wherein the end ring is arranged to press the support rod substantially perpendicular to the axis of the screen cylinder.
