    Abstract: The present invention proposes a coal and gangue separation device, including a first supporting seat, a guide part and multiple material bins. The guide part is hinged with the first supporting seat; the guide part rotates in a vertical direction; and inlets of the plurality of material bins are sequentially distributed on a rotation track of a movable end of the guide part. In the coal and gangue separation device of the present invention, the high-pressure airflow of a high-pressure nozzle does not directly act on the materials, but on grate bar driving mechanisms; and cantilever grate bars are driven to rotate by the grate bar driving mechanisms so as to directionally discharge the mineral aggregate. Therefore, the gangue can accurately enter a gangue collection bin; and the clean coal can accurately enter a clean coal collection bin.

In an embodiment, the method comprises: providing an inclined trough having a feed entry at a top end and a materials discharge end at a bottom end, the inclined trough including a plurality of riffles positioned substantially perpendicularly to a direction of flow of compost material down the inclined trough; inducing a vibration in the inclined trough to induce a prolonged period of hindered unsettling in the compost material; providing a longitudinal dam to at least one side of the inclined trough; and generating an air flow over a substantial length of the inclined trough perpendicular to the direction of flow of compost material down the inclined trough, thereby to blow plastics separated from the compost material over the longitudinal dam.

The jig unit includes a hutch chamber, a screen residue chamber, a screen, a feeding device, a discharging device and a pulsator. The jig unit is installed on the rotor at an inclined angle along the movement of the feed. It is used to separate particles of different density in the slurry. The product receiver is fixed on the ground to collect the separated materials discharged from the rotating jig unit. Separated materials are discharged from an outlet of the screen residue chamber in the jig unit. This invention can unselectively separate any size particles of different density in the fine slurry.

    Abstract: A gravity mineral recovery apparatus and process uses stratification to separate the relatively heavier valuable particulates from the lighter tailings in ore. A housing holds a process chamber therein, the chamber capable of oscillating within the housing. Ore is gravity fed into the process chamber and falls toward the bottom with the ore channeled to the outer sidewall of the process chamber by a deflector that creates an annular passage within the chamber. The oscillation of the chamber causes the heavier particulate to stratify into circumferentially disposed hoppers while the tailings are discharged through a central chute to a tailings hopper. The hoppers have compound sloped sidewalls and have a sensor for opening a discharge valve within the hopper once a given concentration is achieved. A series of sensors within the tailings hopper control a tailings discharge valve as well as an ore feed valve.

    Abstract: A modified fluidized bed separates materials differing in weight by as little as one percent. A fluidized bed is formed by directing air through vanes on an underside of a screen. Products, such as peanuts, delivered to a central portion of the screen are initially separated so that lighter weight products float on the fluidized bed and are drawn by gravity toward a lower end where a second separation takes place. The lightest products at this second end are listed over an exit weir by a controllable air jet. Desired products are not ejected and are collected.

The rim anchors the trough to a standard size container. The bottom includes a center panel and two floor panels which slope upwardly from opposite sides of the center panel to meet opposite sidewalls of the trough. The floor panels funnel overburden deposited into the trough from the sluice box to the center panel where a plurality of openings in the center panel allows the smaller pieces of overburden to pass through into the container. A portion of a front wall of the trough is bent outwardly of the trough to cooperate with an angle member so as to form a slot which connects the trough to the sluice box.
