  • Patent number: 9776122
Abstract: A high pressure compressed air/gas/steam filter, incorporating a heavy main housing body, flanges that are rigidly secured to the top and bottom of the housing body, the housing body having an inlet, an outlet port, and a central cavity into which the operating filter cartridge element locates. A manifold cage assembly, incorporating a variety of seals, secures with a manifold plate, that likewise connects through the use of tie-rod the filter element in place, for high pressure filtration. Once the top flange is removed, the integrated manifold cage, its manifold plate, and its secured filter, can simply be upwardly removed with bolts or fasteners from the main body housing, the filter element cleansed, or replaced and only these removed components can then be reinserted back into the heavy filter housing body, for retightening of its upper flange in place, readying the high pressure filter for further application.

Abstract: Most commercial & residential buildings have rainwater collection systems that consist of leaders and gutters that collect water coming off the roof. These leaders and gutters are connected to drain pipes that channel the water away from the structure, usually into a dry well or storm drain. A substantial add-on to the leader and gutter system is a debris trap with an overflow port. The debris trap/overflow port may be attached to the leader at waist height (for easy access) to collect leaves, tree droppings, windblown litter and other materials. This debris can be easily discarded by opening an access panel to empty a built-in strainer. When a dry well or storm drain becomes saturated, water will back up through the leader causing seepage and overflow into the building and create erosion that can damage the foundation. The function of the overflow port is to divert water from the drain pipe away from the foundation.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cap for hermetically sealing receiver driers, in which a cap body and a filter are separated and detachably engaged with each other and an O-ring is installed between the cap body and the filter, thereby facilitating the replacement of parts and the installation of the O-ring, favoring automatic assembly due to a tool insertion groove that can be formed long, achieving compactness of the cap due to the reduction of a total height of the cap when the cap body and the filter are engaged, improving a filtering effect by increasing the size of the filter with the cap being maintained in the same size, and facilitating engagement between the cap body and the filter and preventing the cap body from being released from a tank by discharging the air between the cap body and the filter.

Abstract: A filter device includes a bag-shape filter body. The filter device is attached in a manner such that an internal space of the filter body connects through to a fuel intake port in a fuel tank. The filter body includes two or more filter materials overlaying each other. At least one of the filter materials is configured so that a cross sectional area of its fuel passage is different between a primary side and a secondary side of the filter material so as to be a multifunctional filter material having a function of gradually capturing dust having different particle sizes.

Abstract: A water separating fuel filter is provided with a sensor at its bottom portion which is not removable in a direction away from the housing structure of the filter mechanism. In other words, if the sensor is removable at all, it must be removed in a direction which requires the sensor to move through the cavity of the housing structure of the filter while preventing an internal end of the sensor from passing in a direction away from the cavity and through a portion of the wall of the housing structure through which the sensor extends during operation. This eliminates the likelihood of a sensor being inadvertently removed from the housing structure and not properly replaced prior to subsequent operation of a fuel system of an internal combustion engine. This, in turn, prevents the condition wherein an opening at the bottom portion of the fuel filter housing structure can allow liquid fuel to flow from the fuel system into the bilge of a watercraft.

Abstract: The invention relates to an integrated belowground vault with filter catch basin, that allows the runoff water to enter into a belowground two-part vault passing through a commercially available replaceable filter before being transferred out to the sewer, Rood control system or out through a French drain consisting of a cavity below the device that is filled with drain gravel. A layer of filter cloth can optionally be placed over the drain gravel. This device will be manufactured in variety of sizes and shapes and made from several different materials. The device has the unique ability of being capable of filtering low flow water runoff while allowing high volume to pass through with the added benefit of not retaining water that can become a mosquito breeding ground.

Abstract: A manifold and filter assembly for use with a waste collection unit is provided. The manifold and filter assembly directs and filters medical waste flowing into the waste collection unit. The manifold and filter assembly comprises a manifold body defining a chamber and an outlet for directing the medical waste into the waste collection unit. A manifold cap is fitted to the manifold body to close the chamber. The manifold cap defines a plurality of inlets for receiving the medical waste. A filter basket having a bottom and a peripheral wall defining a plurality of openings is snap-locked to the manifold body. The filter basket is positioned such that a fluid bypass is formed between the filter basket and the manifold body and between the filter basket and the manifold cap. The fluid bypass is in fluid communication with the outlet whereby the medical waste can flow over the peripheral wall to the outlet through the fluid bypass.

Abstract: Filtration method and device for filtering solid contaminants from a stream of a flowing fluid such as internal combustion engine intake air. An imperforate housing has a tubular inlet exiting at its downstream end into a conically divergent first wall section terminating in a maximum diameter apex. A convergent second wall section terminates at a housing outlet opening of greater diameter than that of the housing inlet. A perforate filter element disposed within the housing conical portions has an exterior configuration generally complimental to the housing interior, and thus has a first generally conical divergent section, and a second generally conical downstream section convergent from a maximum diameter apex of the filter element and defining the filter device outlet.
