Abstract: A display strip or merchandiser for displaying items offered for sale is disclosed. The display strip comprises a strip and a plurality of adhesive portions adhered to the strip for releasably adhering to the strip items to be held by the display strip. The adhesiveness between the adhesive portions and such items is less than the adhesiveness between the adhesive portions and the strip. The adhesive portions may comprise two-sided adhesive tape.

Abstract: A trolley according to the present invention is utilized to transport garments or other articles over a rail system between desired locations. The trolley includes a support member and a plurality of trolley heads each disposed at a corresponding support member end. The trolley heads each include a housing with rollers disposed therein and an arm that connects that trolley head to a corresponding end of the support member. The rollers engage a slick rail system to enable the trolley, with the support member in a generally horizontal orientation, to traverse the rail system and transport garments suspended from the support member. One of the trolley ends includes a pivoting mechanism that enables the support member to pivot or swivel with respect to the trolley arm at that end to place the support member in a generally vertical position.

Abstract: A display strip for packages includes an elongated backing member and transverse adhesive strips that extend completely across the backing member for adheringly holding individual packages. A plurality of the display strips can be adhered transversely to a roll of release paper in a side-by-side arrangement. This allows the adhesive strips to form a substantially continuous strip of adhesive running parallel the length of the roll, and also allows the display strips to be presented one by one as the roll is unwound a short distance equal to a width of the display strips. Due to the short distance of the roll as it is unwound, it allows the display strips to be easily removed one at a time off an end of the roll. A method related to the above is also disclosed and claimed.

Abstract: The hanging shelf system is a device suitable for hanging in closets to provide shelf and bin storage. The hanging shelf system comprises at least one shelf unit. A shelf unit comprises a top panel, a bottom panel and a longitudinally extending side panel having at least one longitudinal opening for access. A plurality of fasteners are used to adjustably attach at least one shelf panel and at least one front panel to the side panel. The fasteners comprise double buttons with button holes, pin with clasp, snaps, hook and eyelet and cloth hook and loop fasteners. Structure for attaching the shelf system to a support is connected to the top panel.

Abstract: A merchandising display card for displaying products is a sheet that includes a number of slits that are adapted to receive tabs from the packaging of the products to be displayed. Each slit has a boss projecting into it. The boss is adapted to engage in a slot in the packaging tab. When the sheet is hung for display, the product is maintained thereon by gravity.

Abstract: An overhead storage assembly, vendable as a kit, includes a plurality of panels each of a rectangular platform having dimensions that are integer multiples of conventional structural spacing. The panels may be joined to each other to form a common support surface resting on a plurality of transverse support pieces connected at the ends to hanger assemblies that are attached to the overhead structure of a building. Each panel includes a first plurality of parallel elongate elements and a second plurality of elongate elements aligned perpendicular to the first plurality of parallel elements. Each panel, moreover, may include closely paired elongate elements near a longitudinal edge to increase the sectional stiffness of the panel and to facilitate releasable connection of the panels to the traverse support pieces and hanger assemblies. The hanger assemblies may comprise matching upper and lower straps that are secured to each other at selected suspension lengths.

Abstract: A foldable merchandising strip comprises an elongated flexible strip segmented into sections by a plurality of horizontal fold lines. A hanging assembly comprising an upwardly directed retaining tab and a downwardly directed retaining tab is provided in alternate fold sections. Packages including a slot or aperture are hung on the upwardly directed retaining tab, and the downwardly directed retain tab is folded over the bottom edge of the aperture, the retaining tabs restrict movement of the package.

Abstract: A merchandising display card for displaying products is disclosed. The display card is a sheet that includes a number of slits that are adapted to receive tabs from the packaging of the products to be displayed. Each slit has a boss projecting into it. The boss is adapted to engage in a slot in the packaging tab. When the sheet is hung for display, the product is maintained thereon by gravity.

Abstract: A support for chairlifts includes bracketing for easily and simply retrofitting the support to an existing chairlift for providing support for snowboards on a chairlift which is easy to mount and provides a rugged, secure support. By changing orientation of the support on this chairlift, it may be utilized to support a mountain bike or skateboard.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided designed to hold extension ladders to fences for storing purposes. A wood or plastic base or back structure that is hung from the top rail of the fence by two large rafter-type hooks. A ladder hook is then mounted to the face of the base or back structure to support the ladder. Other applications are envisioned as well such as hanging hoses, potted plants, gardening tools and supplies, pool tools or toys, and the like.

Abstract: A hosiery displaying device comprises a main body with a hosiery attachment region defined by a multiplicity of openings in a grid-like array through the main body, each opening being configured to receive therethrough a fastener for securing a hosiery article. A hook-shaped hanger portion extends from one longitudinal side of the main body for hanging the device from a retail display fixture and a U-shaped stabilizing portion extends from the opposite longitudinal side of the main body for supporting engagement with hosiery articles secured thereto.

Abstract: A retail display system for increasing density of merchandising of products, by using the otherwise unused space of existing display configurations. A hanger display configuration, which may hold vertical strip displays, is installed in such a manner as to adapt to a diverse range of product packaging and shelving fixture types, efficiently provide signage, pricing and scanning information, and to reduce theft. The hanger display configuration can be manufactured for a specific product and specific quantity of such product. Faceplates have clamps on the back for clamping the faceplates to seldom-used non-shelve portions of the rack display and other store fixtures, such as bars, stanchions, corners, etc.

Abstract: A stemware suspender includes a generally rectangular frame; and a support member extending from the frame, the support member being sized, shaped and positioned so as to define an opening for receiving a stem of a piece of stemware, the support member being angled with respect to the frame so that a base of the piece of stemware is centered between opposite sides of the frame when the base is supported in the suspender. A plurality of the stemware suspenders may be mounted on a base plate, to assist in installation of multiple suspenders. A kit may include appropriate hardware for mounting the stemware suspenders to a surface. A method for efficiently utilizing space by mounting the stemware suspenders individually or when associated with base plates so that stemware pieces placed in suspenders on facing surfaces are disposed adjacent to one another.

Abstract: An attachment device and method of providing the same includes opposing flaps or tabs for securing around different portions of shelving, particularly ventilated shelving. The flaps or tabs are generally flexible and sets of the flaps or tabs are generally provided in perpendicular relation to each other. Each flap or tab includes a securing member for securing to each other around a portion of shelving. The attachment device is removably fastenable to shelving and associated components.

Abstract: A toiletry holder includes a support bracket mountable to a support, such as a wall or other fixed structure. A tether is fixed to the support bracket, for example, at a position therealong spaced apart from the support. A fastener is carried on the tether in a position thereof distant from its point of attachment with the support bracket. The fastener is adapted for removable securement of an article of toiletry, for example, soap, toothpaste, etc., such that the toiletry article may be held in tethered securement to the support bracket and maintained in a position in which it can be isolated from contact with surrounding environmental surfaces. Optionally, the tether is resiliently extensible, permitting the article of toiletry to be moved to a distance farther from the support bracket than a position occupied thereby when the article of toiletry simply hangs from the support bracket by the tether.

The device comprises a basic body (1) and a handle part (2). The basic body (1) is to be suspended via a longitudinal suspension body (4) and comprises a plurality of lobes (13) and a first wall (15) which extends along the outer edge of the lobes (13). Between adjacent lobes (13) a loop (28) is arranged, which is made of an elastic body (25), to hold a container. The elastic body (25) comprises a first end (26) and a second end (27). The elastic body (25) extends through slots (16) in the first wall (15) of one of the lobes (13) and through slots (17) in the first wall (15) of the other lobe (13), to form the loops (28).

Abstract: A foldable merchandising strip comprises an elongated flexible strip segmented into sections by a plurality of horizontal fold lines. Abstract: A jig (10) is provided for holding an elongate member (56) to be surface treated. The jig (10) comprises a beam (12) and a plurality of hangers 14 spaced apart along the beam (12). The hangers (14) have supports (90) with retaining springs (96) thereon which are arranged to support and grip the elongate member (56). The beam (12) has hook-like members (18) for engagement with a lifting bar (30) of a crane (28). The crane (28) is used to transport the jig (10) to an anodising station (60) and subsequently to transport the jig (10) still with the anodised elongate member (56) thereon to a painting station. In that way, an elongate member to be surface treated can be manually placed on the respective supports (90) and held in place by the retaining springs (96) without having to use other forms of clamps.

Abstract: A rack for hanging workpieces in industrial coating systems having a horizontal bar or beam with a first flange, a second flange, and a web joining those flanges, wherein the first flange has a hook receiving aperture and the second flange has a hook receiving slot. The aperture and the slot are aligned to receive a hook from which a workpiece may be hung. The hook is bent to form a spring having a terminal leg and a depending leg. The terminal leg extends into the aperture in the first flange and the depending leg extends through the slot in the second flange, behind a detent. The web is formed so as to providee a fulcrum against which the spring bears, biasing the depending leg against release from behind the detent.

Abstract: An support rack system, which may be electrically conductive, has one or more generally horizontal crossbars. Each crossbar has a front face and a spaced-apart rear face. Each of the crossbar faces is interconnected at one or more spaced-apart locations to reveal at least one pocket. The crossbar faces are matingly connected adjacent at least one of the pockets. The mating connection of the crossbars has at least one aperture penetrating therethrough. The rack system also has one or more generally parallel, vertically oriented support bars. At least one of the support bars bears a mechanism adapted to attach said crossbars to said support bar with one or more of the crossbar aperture or the crossbar pocket.

Abstract: A banner display device includes an elongated housing containing a gripper roller which is used to grip and retain the edge of a banner in the housing. The housing includes tapered front and rear walls defining a chamber for the roller which is open at its lower end. When an edge of the banner is inserted into the chamber via the lower opening, the gripper roller presses the banner edge against the rear surface of the front wall to suspend the banner from the device.

Abstract: An optical disk holding apparatus consists of a hanging unit and a holding unit. The hanging unit includes a plate member slightly larger than the optical disk, a snap clip located on the plate member for clipping the optical disk and a hanging hook extending from the plate member. The holding unit includes at least an elevated carrying member. The optical disk may be clipped by the snap clip and held on the hanging unit. The hanging unit may be hung on the carrying member through the hanging hook. A plurality of hanging units may be hung and housed in the holding unit for storing.

Abstract: A merchandising display supported upon a vertically extending surface. The display includes a substantially horizontally extending and rigid support having a first end and a second end, the first end engaging with the vertically extending surface. A substantially vertically extending display is attached to the second end of the rigid support and exhibits a substantially thin and flattened construction provides the display with flexibility both with respect to its own cross section and relative the rigid support. Pluralities of apertures are formed through the display and between first and second faces thereof. The pluralities of apertures further defining individual pairs of apertures extending lengthwise along the flexible display, the pairs of apertures are segregated into selected first and second closely spaced pairs.

Abstract: A shoe rack for mounting to an upright surface, or for hanging over a door, includes a pair of plastic, vertical side frame members and a plurality of shoe-retaining bars positioned between the side frame members upon which shoes, boxes and the like may be supported. A number of different embodiments are shown, each of which incorporates different features, and each of which may result in improved structural integrity over the prior art. Further, each embodiment may result in a product that is less expensive to manufacture and may result in a product which retains shoes on the shoe rack in a different, or better, manner.

At least one retaining pad is mounted upon the C-shaped cradle.

Abstract: A shoe rack, for mounting to an upright surface or for hanging over a door, having plastic side frame members and at least one shoe retaining tier positioned between the side frame members. Each shoe retaining tier includes at least one cross-bar having a number of loops extending therefrom. In each embodiment, the loops are oriented in pairs for retaining pairs of shoes thereon.

Abstract: A fully ceiling-suspended system and apparatus for storing different shapes/types of elongated objects. The system includes a minimum of only two separate brackets that are ceiling-mounted to form a storage apparatus that is capable of supporting elongated items of different lengths provided that the length of each item to be stored is at least the length of the distance that the two ceiling-suspended brackets are separated. Further, each of the brackets may include different pockets of storage space that may be used for holding/storing elongated items of different shapes or cross-sectional configurations.

Abstract: A shelving unit has left- and right-hand side rails for engaging the inner surfaces of opposed sidewalls of a display system. A generally trapezoidal bridge member having its upper lateral edge as the major side, is defined by two outer, longitudinal edges which slope inwardly at a prescribed angle as each moves from the upper lateral edge. The sloping longitudinal edges are adapted for frictionally engaging each respective side rail such that pressure exerted by the bridge member is sufficient to hold each side-rail in place between the inner walls of a display system. Each side rail and the bridge member define an upper surface for supporting a display item.

The aperture is operatively configured to allow the pocket to expand to thereby accept a greater number of cards. The apparatus further comprises at least one support having a nodule for each vertical panel. Each nodule is configured to be coupled with the aperture of each vertical panel such that the plurality of vertical panels are interconnected by the support.

Abstract: A pre-loaded, disposable merchandiser, a machine for producing the merchandiser and methods for producing the merchandiser and for packaging items to be sold for display. The merchandiser comprises a strip, a hanger at one end of the strip for suspending the strip, and a plurality of items to be offered for sale, adhesively connected to the strip in staggered locations on the strip. Apparatus for producing the merchandiser comprises a strip material feeder operable to deliver or feed strip material to a station, a tape arm operable to advance tape, a tape cutter operable to cut off a piece of the tape, and an install pad operable to apply the piece of tape to a portion of the strip and to a portion of an item to be sold or to packaging for the item.

Abstract: A hanging display device for displaying pairs of shoes in a side-by-side relationship. The device includes spaced-apart resiliently deformable legs that can be conveniently inserted into the foot-receiving cavities of the shoes in a manner to support the shoes in a hanging relationship. The device also includes a center member that is disposed between the shoes and carries at one end a hook-like member that can be emplaced over a peg or hook provided on a display board. A display panel is affixed to the center member which spans the top of the shoes and provides ample space for displaying product information and promotional material.

Abstract: A shaped figure designed for suspending apparel accessories such as ties, belts, scarfs and the like wherein the figure comprises a flat plate of injection molded plastic having cutouts configured to form a series of downwardly inclined sets of steps, wherein a lower set is parallel to an upper set. The shaped figure is coated with fluorescent paint. A modification of the above is optionally designed with but one set of steps and the steps converge or diverge toward a centered stem or stems. A support block integral with a hook extends from a centered stem. The block as well as a base and a pair of arcuate sections can be apertured to enable the insertion of a fastener to support the rack.

Abstract: A holder for a plurality of baseballs, softballs, or other types of balls. The holder is preferably comprised of three generally tubular support members that are joined together at their midsections, diverge outwardly and downwardly at their lower sections to form legs, and diverge outwardly and upwardly at their upper sections to form support arms. A cord is attached to the outer or upper ends of the support arms to form a cord hoop, and a net is suspended at its upper edges from the cord hoop. The net extends downwardly and is substantially closed at its bottom, thereby forming a ball receptacle.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a fully ceiling-suspended system and apparatus for storing different shapes/types of elongated objects. The system includes a minimum of only two separate brackets that are ceiling-mounted to form a storage apparatus that is capable of supporting elongated items of different lengths provided that the length of each item to be stored is at least the length of the distance that the two ceiling-suspended brackets are separated. Further, each of the brackets may include different pockets of storage space that may be used for holding/storing elongated items of different shapes or cross-sectional configurations.

Abstract: A support that is to be attached to the center rail of the handle structure of a stroller or carriage. The support is mounted to the center rail by one or more hooks and has an elongated bar that is suspended from the rail and hangs below and parallel to it. Objects, such as the handle hoops of a bag can be looped over the bar and held by it. In one embodiment, the support mounted to the rail has upper and lower bars that are parallel to each other with a space between the two. A bag has fasteners on a flap and the bag front panel. The bag flap is passed over the bottom bar and the fasteners brought together to secure the flap. This hangs the bag from the support, which in turn is hung from the stroller handle center rail. A bag with a flap in sections also can be used with a support having only a top bar.

Abstract: A method and system for copying files between drives of a computer system is provided. The method begins where files are selected to be copied from a first drive of the computer system to a second drive of the computer system. The selected files include operating system files, program files and data files. The method then proceeds to commencing an initial copying of the selected files. While the initial files are being copied, a list of non-copied files is generated. The list of non-copied files represent files that are locked by an operating system. A raw data copy is performed during the initial copying by referencing a FAT table of the drive from which data is copied from for each file in the list of non-copied files. A shut down of the operating system is then commenced. The operating system is configured to shut down and release the files previously locked by the operating system.

Abstract: An accessory support apparatus for use with a patient support includes a body including a plurality of accessory couplers. A coupler is configured to couple the body to the patient support for pivotable movement about an axis of rotation. A latch is configured to lock the body selectively in one of a plurality of different positions relative to the patient support.

Abstract: A method and system for organizing different kinds of clothes hangers into separate groups. The system mounts each hanger on a sloped arm that is opposes and is separated from an opposing sloped arm by a vertically oriented structural member. Each sloped arm, in connection with the vertically oriented structural member, causes the a group of clothes hangers mounted on the arm to cant away from an adjacent group of clothes hangers mounted on an opposing adjacent arm. The canting of one group of clothes hangers away from another group minimizes the likelihood that hangers in one group will become entangled with hangers is another adjacent group.

Abstract: A gripping and fastening device comprising a bendable strip of material having integral slots is provided. The strip can have a formed hook or hanging shape for holding or hanging articles. The strip can be bent through at least one of the slots to grip the upper edge of a structure such as a wall partition or door, or other article. The integral slots allow for multiple repeated bending and unbending of the strip while preventing or delaying the material from work hardening through the bending area, and thus, fracturing. When straightened, the device retains its original shape. Preferably, there is no indication that bending has occurred. Preferably, the slots are rectangular shaped, but other slot shapes can be used, such as dog bone shaped slots.

Abstract: A storage device comprises a support structure (1) carrying a plurality of receptacle (11) such as document pouches arranged in a longitudinal series. The support structure has a pair of spaced side members (4, 5) which are foldable so that the pouches may be arranged either in a closed up array or suspended in an open end out array. Support members (6) extend laterally between the side members (4, 5) and the pouches (11) are releasably supported on the support members and extend through gaps (3) between the support members. The pouches have closure flaps (15) which can be folded backwards overthe support members (6) to suspend the pouches from them. A locating tab (10) may pass through an aperture (16) in the pouch and be folded over to hold the pouch to the support member (6). The support structure is made from a sheet of material provided with apertures (3) which define the side and support members (4, 5, 6).

Abstract: A rack for displaying and dispensing a plurality of products and accessory products which has an elgongated body having a top end and a bottom end, wherein the body defines at least one vertically oriented interior chute. The chute is adapted to hold the plurality of vertically stacked products. A signage panel is mounted on at least a portion of the body, and an accessory display support is attached to the body. An elongated accessory product display is attached to the accessory display support to display a plurality of accessory product adjacent the body.

Abstract: Embodiments of a hanger system are shown and described, each embodiment including a support member and at least one looped cord hanging from the support member. The looped cord includes a cleat or other adjustable fastener for adjusting the diameter of the loop, so that is fits around and securely holds differing sizes of items in the loop, preferably, up off of the ground or floor. The cleat may have sharp exterior corners and notches for gripping an item being held, and sharp interior hole corners for gripping the cord. An attractive hanger may be constructed by using an elongated, straight, narrow bar of wood, plastic, or metal, that has holes bored through it to receive and capture knots in the ends of the cords. Thus, several cords may hang from the support member, spaced several inches or more from each other, so that the cords hang down without tangling and the suspended items do not significantly interfere with each other while hanging or while being hung or removed.

Abstract: A hanging storage shelf system for hanging from a garage ceiling joist. The hanging storage shelf system includes a plurality of hanging rods for supporting a shelf from the ceiling. Each of the hanging rods has a first and a second end. Each of the first and second ends of the rods is threaded. The plurality of hanging rods comprises at least four hanging rods which are spaced such that a first, a second, a third and a fourth hanging rod define four corners of a rectangle. Each of the rods is releaseably screwed into ceiling joists. At least two bars connect pairs of hanging rods. The bars each have a first and second end having a bore therein. Each second end of the first and third rods is inserted in one of the bores of one of the bars, and each second end of the second and fourth bars is inserted in one of the bores of the other of the bars. A plurality of nuts holds the bars to the hanging rods. A shelf platform rests on the bars.

Abstract: A tool rack for securing and transporting lawn edgers formed from steel or other rigid material. The tool rack comprises a central spine, two edger retaining arms, a wheel retaining slot, and a trailer wall retaining means. The edger retaining arms are attached to the central spine and are bent inward toward each other twice. The wheel retaining slot is formed from two parallel pieces of metal and extend from the front surface of the central spine at the bottom thereof. The trailer wall retaining means is located at the top of the central spine and extends from the back thereof.

Abstract: A retail display system for a desk chairmat includes a display stand having at least one support component thereon. A desk chairmat having a longitudinal fold line, is folded in half about the fold line and a wrap extends about the chairmat in the folded condition. The chairmat is suspended from the support component. In another embodiment, the retail display system comprises a display stand including a pair of vertical standards and one or more horizontal reinforcing rods; at least two laterally spaced support components mounted on the display stand; a desk chairmat having four side edges, with a pair or hang tabs laterally spaced along one of the side edges; wherein the desk chairmat is suspended from the support components by the hang tabs.
