Abstract: A partially non-rigid solar capture mounting system which reduces the risk of damage due to wind is disclosed. The solar capture mounting system includes at least one pole, a horizontal beam mounted to the pole, and at least one backing plate hanging from the horizontal beam via a pivotal connection. Examples of pivotal connection are bushings with ball bearings, hinges, steel rings and spring clips. Each of the backing plates supports at least one solar cell. Wind pressure against a backing plate pivots the backing plate about the horizontal beam such that the system experiences reduced stress and reduced risk of damage due to wind and wind carried objects.
Abstract: A mobile clothesline provides mobility and is easy to set up and break down, making it ideal for areas with limited space, for example, while not requiring tools for assembly. The mobile clothesline offers an energy efficient alternative to using an electric or gas dryer. The mobile clothesline includes first and second wheeled bases having a receptacle for holding a retractable clothesline post. The post may include a plurality of arms that may extend outward from the post or may be folded in against the post. A retractable line may extend from the arms on one of the posts to interconnect with a receptacle on the arm on the other post.
Abstract: A system includes a first cable support, a second cable support, a first cable and a second cable. The first cable is moveably mounted between the first cable support and the second cable support. The system also includes a supporting structure supported by the first cable and by the second cable, wherein the supporting structure is connected to the first moveable cable to move with the first moveable cable.
