The method begins where files are selected to be copied from a first drive of the computer system to a second drive of the computer system. The selected files include operating system files, program files and data files. The method then proceeds to commencing an initial copying of the selected files. While the initial files are being copied, a list of non-copied files is generated. The list of non-copied files represent files that are locked by an operating system. A raw data copy is performed during the initial copying by referencing a FAT table of the drive from which data is copied from for each file in the list of non-copied files. A shut down of the operating system is then commenced. The operating system is configured to shut down and release the files previously locked by the operating system.

The extension arms (10 to 13) are received rotatably in bearings which are arranged at different levels on the stand (2, 3) and have a common axis (7) which runs alongside the hanging items of clothing. The hangers (8, 9) may be secured against removal by means of a common securing means (14) and a lock (17).

  • Patent number: 5706680
Abstract: Locking devices for surfboards, sailboards and skateboards which clamp about tapered sides of surfboards and sailboards adjacent the fins. The devices clamp about skateboard sides between the two sets of wheels. One version has a hook ended rod that grips about a board side and another end that attaches by a padlock to a second rod which hooks about another board side. The first rod end has through holes that insert into a cylinder end of the second rod. The further one rod is inserted into the second cylindrical rod end, the closer the spacing between the hooks. A padlock in the through-holes connect the rods. Another version has a padlock in the second cylindrical rod where grooves on the first rod end are locked in place. Another version has a perpendicular extension bracket that wraps about one surfboard or sailboard fin. Another version uses a top flat plate that hingedly connects to a curved bottom plate. Opposite ends of the plates have matching through-holes for a padlock.

  • Patent number: 5689978
Abstract: A lock is disclosed for securing merchandise products onto a hook of the type adapted for mounting onto a pegboard or other support. The lock includes a housing having an internal cavity which is formed with a cradle for seating the tip of the hook. A slot formed in the housing enables ingress and egress of the hook tip toward and away from a seated position in the cradle. A latch is pivotally mounted in the housing and the latch is moveable to a latched position at which the hook tip is captured in its seated position in the cradle. The latch is releasably held in its latched position by a nib on the housing which engages a depression on the latch. Operation of a key causes the latch to pivot toward an unlatched position at which the hook tip is enabled to be unseated from the cavity for egress out of the cavity, permitting the lock to be separated from the hook.
