Abstract: A storage device including at least one storage container provided with a container housing, which has a housing lower part and a housing cover swivellably mounted on the housing lower part in the region of the rear side. On the underside of its two lateral cover edge sections, the housing cover has a respective centring strip projecting downwards, wherein these centring strips protrude into the housing lower part when closing the housing cover in such a way that, via transverse support occurring relative to the housing lower part, they ensure that the housing cover is guided into a closed position that is centred relative to the housing lower part.

Abstract: A collapsible crate and a method for synchronizing a method of assembling a collapsible crate are provided. The collapsible crate comprising a base, a first panel, a second panel, and a band style fastener. The first panel and the second panel are at least partially disposed within gaps between stringers of the base. The band style fastener is disposed about a portion of the base and a portion of one of the first panel and the second panel. The band style fastener secures the one of the first panel and the second panel to the base. The first panel and the second panel at least partially disposed in the base facilitates a transition fit therebetween. The collapsible crate is compact when the crate is collapsed and decreases a cost of the crate.

Abstract: A vehicle center console assembly includes a console having a side wall dimensioned to receive a bin therein and a bin including a side wall having a top edge including a pair of opposed strikers. A hinged bin lid includes a dual pawl latching mechanism disposed on a bottom surface thereof whereby the dual pawl latching mechanism does not extend beyond an exterior dimension defined by the bin lid. The bin lid may include a pair of opposed bin lid side walls. The latching mechanism is disposed on the bin lid bottom surface whereby a gap is defined between an outer portion of the latching mechanism and an inner portion of the opposed bin lid side walls. The console side wall includes a top edge configured to define a mating surface for the bin lid side walls.

Abstract: A locking arrangement is arranged to lock together a first side and a second side that are at an angle to each other. On the first side, there is a locking member with a bar (6) and a transverse part. On the second side, there is at least one lug (5) and the transverse part (4) is settable to a locked position on the lug (5) on the second side and releasable from the locked position on the lug (5). The lug (5) on the second side is turnable away from beneath the transverse part (4) in the locked position and lockable to remain under the transverse part in the locked position.

Abstract: A fixing structure for fixing a case main body with a lid includes fitting portions provided for the case main body and the lid respectively. One of the fitting portions includes a fitting bore having an engagement bore to be engaged by the other of the fitting portions and a bore extending from a fitting direction terminal part of the engagement bore in a fitting direction. The other of the fitting portions includes a fitting projection portion having an engaging projection portion provided at a position corresponding to the engagement bore and a guide projection portion provided at a position corresponding to the bore. The guide projection portion has a fitting guide portion, the height of which decreases from engaging projection portion side thereof toward an end part of the guide projection portion.

Abstract: A container cover having a bamboo open frame and a meshed structure of bamboo mounted within the open frame, the open frame having a plurality of mounting holes spaced around an inside wall thereof; the meshed structure being formed of a plurality of bamboo strips woven together, the bamboo strips having tips suspended around the border of the meshed structure and respectively fastened to the mounting holes in the open frame.

Abstract: The present invention refers to a box for transporting and storing different products, which is made of wood and can be fully assembled and disassembled. The box is suitably used for transporting pieces and automotive parts for long distances. The improved box comprises a pallet type bottom plate (10), side plates (20) and upper cover (30), said side plates (20) being coupled (i) together by means of pairs of hinges (24; 25), (ii) to bottom plate (10) by means of pairs of parts (27; 28) in the lower portion that cooperate with the respective pairs of parts (12′; 13′) of said bottom plate (10) and (iii) to cover (30) by means of latches (20′; 30′). In a first embodiment of the present invention, all said pairs of hinges (24; 25), pairs of parts (27; 28) of side plates and said pairs of parts (12′; 13′) of bottom plate (10) face the interior of said box.

Abstract: A bowl and cutting board combination has a bowl member configured to removably receive and support a cutting board member at its upper end and when supported on the bowl member is used for cutting or preparing foods placed thereon, and thereafter the cutting board is removed and used to transfer the foods thereon which have been cut or prepared into the bowl member. The cutting board member serves as a cutting surface, a food preparation surface, and a handling surface, and the bowl member serves as the support for the cutting board member and as a container for receiving the foods which have been cut or prepared on the cutting board member. The cutting board member optionally serves as a lid for the bowl member to cover the contents of the bowl, before or after cutting or preparation.

The groove extends parallel to the upper side of the end, and the lower edge of the groove is chamfered or bevelled along its entire length. The box lid or cover pad comprises a relatively thin and flexible sheet of laminated veneer or heavyweight paper. To secure the cover pad to the box, one end of the lid may be inserted in one groove of one end, and the lid then bowed upwardly in its center area, so that the opposite end of the lid may be located below the groove in the opposite end. By then pulling upwardly on that opposite pad end, the latter will snap into the groove, facilitated by the lower, chamfered edge of the groove.

Abstract: A container system for beer formed of a bottle body, a cap and sealing gasket formed of a blend of butyl rubber and one or more thermoplastic polymers. Preferably, the butyl rubber is present in an amount of from about 20 to about 60% by weight of the composition and the one or more thermoplastic polymers are present in an amount from about 40% to about 80% by weight of the composition. The system provides good sealing properties and prevents oxygen, and chlorinated substances such as chlorinated phenols or anisoles, that may be present in the packaging, from entering the bottle.

Abstract: A package formed of a wooden crate or pallet impregnated with a chlorinated phenol and/or anisole wood preservative, one or more bottles containing a potable material, such as beer, a cap on each bottle and a sealing gasket between the bottle and the cap. The gasket is formed of butyl rubber (20 to 80% by weight) and one or more thermoplastic polymers, preferably polyethylene (40 to 60% by weight).

Abstract: A locking apparatus for selectively securing a lid to a box having one or more posts depending from the lid and engageable in mating vertical bores formed in the walls of the box, elongated locking members mounted for both axial and rotational adjustment in bores formed the walls of the box in perpendicularly partially intersecting relation to the vertical bores, each post having a notch registerable with the associatd locking member and each of the locking members having a notch registerable with associated the post when placed in a predetermined rotational and axial position so that the post is prevented by the locking member from being withdrawn from its vertical bore except when the notch in the locking member is in axial and rotational registration with the post, the rotational and axial positioning of the locking member being accomplished by manually engageable knobs projecting from the box, and each locking member having spring detents for holding same in the desired rotational and axial position.

Abstract: A cover for a hot tub has wooden or other rigid ribs secured to a flexible, resilient foamed plastic sheet. One rib is secured at an edge of the tub to anchor the cover. The cover can be rolled between an extended position overlying the tub and a rolled retracted position adjacent the tub. A pair of brackets secured to the tub each have a depression in the top surface in which the retracted rolled cover rests.
