  • Patent number: 11073174
Abstract: A barbed staple for installing fencing wire onto a fence post. The staple has a crown section and a leg section. The crown section has an arcuate crown portion and a radiused portion, and the leg section has a pair of leg portions that extend in parallel from the radiused portion of the crown section. At least one barb protrudes from each of the leg portions, the barb having projecting points. The distance between the distal edge of the projecting points defines an outer leg width. The crown portion of the crown section has a greater width than the pair of leg portions in parallel. The outer crown width is greater than the outer leg width.

  • Patent number: 10399754
Abstract: The collar has a looped metal strap (10) and a transverse buckle (12) retained at the first end of the strap and forming, on the outer side of the first end, a passage (13) through which the second end (10B) of the strap can be inserted over the first end, the second end of the strap as inserted in this way being suitable for being indented so as to co-operate with at least one of the elements including the transverse buckle (12) and the first end (10A) of the strap, in order to be retained so that it is prevented from moving in the direction in which the diameter of the collar increases. The buckle (12) carries at least one radially projecting outer tab (20, 22), the tab having the shape of a hook having a stem carrying a head under which a recess is formed.

  • Patent number: 5649332
Abstract: A spring interior of a mattress comprising a plurality of longitudinally extending bands of springs disposed side by side and connected together with helical lacing wires in the top and bottom faces of the bands. Each band of springs comprises a single length of wire formed into a plurality of coil springs interconnected by innerconnecting segments located alternatively in the top and bottom faces of the bands. The spring interior is characterized by longitudinally extending sections of differing firmnesses throughout the length of the spring interior. The different firmnesses in the different sections of the spring interior are attributable to different configurations of the innerconnecting segments. The innerconnecting segments within the firmer sections of the mattress have a deeper V-shaped indentation than the portions of the bands of springs in the less firm sections of the mattress.
