Lift (i.e., Vertical Movement) Patents (Class 219/658)
  • Patent number: 11524320
Abstract: A sucker rod cleaning system includes an inductive heating device, a feed mechanism, a first support and a second support. An electromagnet of the inductive heating device includes a wire coil head that is configured to inductively heat a sucker rod positioned within a heating zone. The feed mechanism is configured to feed a sucker rod through the heating zone in a feed direction. The first support is positioned on an upstream side of the wire coil head, and is configured to support a portion of a sucker rod as it is fed through the heating zone by the feed mechanism. The second support is positioned on a downstream side of the wire coil head, and is configured to support a portion of a sucker rod as it is fed through the heating zone by the feed mechanism.

  • Patent number: 7235209
Abstract: Apparatus for heat-treating an elongate structural body part made from a blank compressed while being soft or from steel strip of hardenable 22 Mn B5 mod. steel sheet with a thickness of 1 mm to 3 mm, includes an apparatus for positioning the structural body part in substantially upright disposition. Placed in surrounding relationship to the structural body part is an induction element which can move from bottom to top, thereby being able to follow a contour of the structural body part and allowing to at least partially heat the structural body part to an austenitizing temperature suitable for hardening. Disposed adjacent to the induction element is a cooling unit which follows the induction element in movement direction. The induction element and the cooling unit are moveable relative to one another and connected to a tool carriage which is mounted to a column for movement in a vertical direction, in a transverse direction to the column and about a horizontal axis.

  • Patent number: 6895032
Abstract: A high-pressure processing apparatus for supplying a pressure medium into a high-pressure processing chamber 4, which is formed in a pressure vessel 1 to treat a workpiece at a high pressure, is provided. The pressure vessel 1 includes a first vessel section 2 and a second vessel section 3, which can be separated from each other in the axial direction, wherein the high-pressure processing chamber 4 is formed between the first and second vessel sections 2 and 3. Furthermore, a face seal section 5 for tightly sealing the high-pressure processing chamber 4 is formed in the abutment of the first and second vessel sections 2 and 3. A press apparatus 7 for providing an axial force to the face seal section 5 is disposed and the press apparatus 7 has a space 15 for storing a supplementary apparatus, such as a stirrer or the like at a position corresponding to the axial center of the pressure vessel 1.

  • Patent number: 6160247
Abstract: An induction hardening apparatus for inductively heating and quench hardening a crankshaft includes an arrangement of two workstations similarly configured and a robotic device indexing the crankshaft from a first workstation to a second workstation. The induction hardening apparatus is designed with a single induction coil located at the first workstation for the sequential induction heating and quench hardening of the pins of the crankshaft. At the second workstation, a single induction coil is used for the bearing surfaces of the crankshaft. An important feature of the present invention is that the induction coils do not contact the surfaces of the crankshaft which are being inductively heated and quench hardened. Crankshaft dimensions and geometry are programmed into servodrive systems which move the corresponding coil in X and Y directions accurately tracing the orbit or path of each pin and each bearing surface.

  • Patent number: 5373144
Abstract: A heating device for heating objects, such as moulding tools for preheating them, removing rubber, to produce shrink fit operations and other treatments of objects (11, 12, 13) which consist, at least partly, of metal, the device comprising a core (2) of electric conductive material and at least a coil (3, 4) which is arranged around the core (2) and connected to a current source (20) to generate a magnetic field, the flux of which is intended to follow the said core. The core (2) has two poles (5, 6), between which a space (7) can exist to supply objects (11, 12, 13) to the device (1) for heating treatment. One of the poles or both said poles (5, 6) are arranged to be able to be displaced in such a way that the core (2) can be closed or closed with an object (11, 12, 13) supplied and located between the poles (5, 6) for heating or treatment. A table (14) is arranged around the core (2 ) or one pole (6) of the core to unload the core (2) from loadings from an object (12, 13).
