Abstract: An addition system for introducing particulate material into an industrial process is disclosed. The addition system comprises a vessel for holding the particulate material, wherein the vessel has a top and a bottom; one or more weighing devices; a controller for controlling operation of the addition system; a base plate to support the vessel and optionally the controller; and three or more legs, each leg having an uppermost section that connects to the vessel and a foot that is connected to the base plate. The widest diameter of the vessel is less than the diameter of a circle drawn through the feet of the legs. The one or more weighing device are mounted on the base plate and support the legs of the vessel.

Abstract: A system for displaying, transporting, storing, and serving food that includes stackable catering platters, containers, and covers. The system provides a modular catering platter system for use in both hot and cold food applications, even at the same time. At least two stackable sectional platters are provided including a larger sectional base and a smaller top section that stackably mate directly with each other.

Abstract: A water quality sampler includes a membrane receptacle and at least 7 sample membranes. The membrane receptacle comprises at least 7 membrane cavities disposed on a top surface of the membrane receptacle. Each membrane cavity is configured to hold a sample membrane and the sample membranes are each removably positioned within the membrane cavities and extend at least 1 cm out from the top surface of the membrane receptacle. A bottom of the membrane receptacle comprises a protruding lip that traces a bottom edge of the membrane receptacle in a downward direction, where the protruding lip encompasses a stacking chamber capable of receiving a top end of a second water quality sampler to allow stacking of multiple water quality samplers.

Abstract: In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful for reusable containers and item delivery using reusable containers. In several embodiments, the reusable containers described herein include removable divider walls that can be used to selectively divide an interior of the container into multiple smaller portions. By a further approach, the container and divider walls can have cooperating components to mount the divider wall to the container. In some embodiments, the reusable containers described herein can also include bag handle holding features so that bags placed therein are prevented from spilling contents during transport.

The system includes a body having a longitudinal channel having a central portion and two side portions, the central portion having a greater depth than a depth of channel portions on either side of the central portion. The body further includes roof portions that cover the two side portions. The channel is configured to allow movement of containers only in the longitudinal direction of the channel. The blister packages may carry unit doses of medication.

The bumper comprises intersecting wall portions to substantially cover the adjacent planes of a corner. The deepening increases a bending stiffness of the bottom tray and provides rigidity to the double tray system. The deepening is provided with a reinforcing ribs which cross the deepening.

Abstract: A battery module includes a housing configured to hold prismatic battery cells within a space defined by four interior walls of the housing. The housing includes a first interior wall that includes partitions extending upwards from a bottom of the housing and a second interior wall that includes partitions extending upwards from the bottom of the housing. The first interior wall faces opposite the second interior wall. The partitions disposed on the first interior wall and the partitions disposed on the second interior wall define slots between adjacent partitions, where each of the slots increases in width between the adjacent partitions from the bottom of the housing upwards. Each of the slots is configured to retain one of the prismatic battery cells.

Each adjustment panel may mount to the frame at a particular inclination angle, and include a number of serpentine slots for engaging a number of support pins extending from sides of the product support. Each serpentine slot in the number of serpentine slots may include a notch at each end, and at each direction change, of the serpentine slot. Each notch in a particular serpentine slot may be a different distance from a top edge of its respective adjustment panel. A first product support may be retained in a notch such that a top edge of a first container with a first depth on a first product support is substantially level with a top edge of a second container of a second depth on a second product support.

Abstract: A system for holding items includes a base tier including two or more totes and one or more higher tiers stacked on the base tier. Each of the higher tiers includes one or more totes stacked on a tote of a lower tier. Totes in of the tiers are laterally cross coupled to one another. The totes include lateral openings that allow removal of items through the lateral opening while the totes are stacked in place.

Abstract: Provided herein is a tray for holding medical containers, including a plurality of elongated parallel cavities that are intended to receive at least one container. Each of said cavities includes a first set of contact surfaces for holding said at least one container, and each of said cavities includes a second set of contact surfaces for holding said at least one container when provided with a cap. The first set of contact surfaces and the second set of contact surfaces are arranged such that said at least one capped container is held in the cavity in a reverse orientation with respect to said at least one container when provided without a cap. A packaging for medial containers and a method for packaging medical containers are also provided herein.

Abstract: An intermodal tank container and complementary chassis, and features and methods for use thereof, are disclosed. The intermodal tank container and chassis has an appearance and length substantially similar to a non-intermodal OTR tank trailer, while affording the same capacity as an intermodal tank container. The design of the tank container allows for an improved, lighter design for the chassis and for improved usability of the tank container in intermodal environments such as with rail cars. The reduced weight of the chassis allows for a greater payload while remaining within various applicable legal restrictions for gross vehicle weight, axle weight, etc.

Abstract: A storage system for storing a plurality of fluids or other goods has a plurality of containers adapted to fit within a receptacle. Each of the containers has an inner sidewall, an outer sidewall, and a top sidewall having a spout sealable with a cap such that the container contains the fluid or other goods when the cap is engaged with the spout. The plurality of containers are shaped such that the containers are stackable or nestable within the receptacle such that the containers tessellate, the inner sidewalls of the containers abutting each other, and the outer sidewalls abutting the inner surface of the receptacle.

In one embodiment of the container system, each base unit latch comprises a resilient latch member connected to the base unit. The resilient latch member is biased into a lock position to engage a lock engagement portion on an associated one of the containers. The resilient latch member may be movable against the bias to a release position wherein the associated container is able to be removed from the associated container receiving region.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a storage container that comprises a front panel, a back or rear panel, a left side panel, a top portion, and a bottom portion. Each of the panels, as well as the top portion and the bottom portion of the storage container, comprises a contact surface with each contact surface comprising at least one contact point. The use of multiple contact surfaces and multiple contact points allows a plurality of storage containers to be efficiently and securely stacked and nested, thereby allowing for quick and easy storage of items while conserving valuable yet precious storage space.

Each container has a rounded rectangular parallelepiped body with four symmetrical sidewalls, a rounded square base and a rounded square top. An elongated sidewall slot is provided on each sidewall, the slot has a surrounding lip thereby creating an internal edge recess. The sidewall slot has an open end and an adjoining closed end. The adjoining closed end is centrally disposed along a transversal axis of the rectangular sidewall. A similarly constructed elongated base slot is provided on the base. The adjoining closed end of the base slot is centrally disposed on the square base. A neck is centrally provided on the top and extends from the top, it has a surrounding rim and an opening thereon. The rim of the neck and the internal recess of the base slot and the sidewall slot are dimensioned and shaped for sliding and interconnecting engagement.

A bottom surface, contiguous with one or more side surfaces is provided, each surface having an interior cavity at least partially filled with refreezable material, usable to retain contents within the container at a temperature less than ambient temperature. The bottom surface includes a lower groove therein. The side surfaces include a lip adapted for secure engagement for an upper object, which can include a top cover having a complementary groove, or the lower groove of an adjacent refreezable container, allowing multiple containers, with or without top covers, to be nested for storage or transport, and allowing multiple covered containers, or top covers independent of containers, to be stacked and nested.

The container has a container portion, a cover, and a latch member movable between a first position and a second position. A retaining member on the container portion is engageable with the latch member. In the second position, the latch member is engageable with a container portion of the other container to connect the containers. The latch member is pivotally movable in a clockwise and counterclockwise manner. The latch member can be pivoted upwards to the second position to engage the other container and the latch member can be pivoted downwards to the first position to engage the retaining member to inhibit movement of the latch member away from the first position.

Abstract: A method of merchandising a modular home storage container system includes providing a plurality of individual groups of containers adapted for use on standardized shelving. Each container has side walls extending upwardly from a bottom wall to an open top and a removable lid. The containers, in each group, have a uniform length which correlates with one of the shelving depths, a uniform width to provide a uniform footprint size to accommodate the use of a single size lid and a plurality of different heights to allow a consumer to optimize the use of the available shelf height space. The heights of the containers are graduated so that the overall height of two stacked shorter containers will approximate the height of a taller container. Preferably a chart correlating the lengths of the individual groups of containers with standard shelving depths is available at the display site.

Each one of the at least one linkage disc has four connecting orifices longitudinally defined through the linkage disc. The container can be utilized as a single unit for storing objects in the casing. Multiple containers can also be assembled to form a floating platform for diversified purposes.

Abstract: The present invention consists of a water or soda bottle or vessel which is designed to allow for the bottle to interconnect with other bottles of similar design and standard dimensions to form useful second use products. A recess in the lower surface of the bottle receives the neck of another storage bottle. There are recesses perpendicular to the vertical axis of the bottle capable of receiving the mating side recess of another storage bottle. There are two such recesses on each storage bottle, one on each side of the bottle, parallel to each other. This allows for a bottle positioned on its side perpendicular to a vertically positioned bottle to be used to connect two vertically perpendicular storage bottles.
