Abstract: A container closure is disclosed which includes a shell attachable to a container around a container opening thereof. The shell has a shell opening in fluid communication with the container opening when the shell is attached to the container. A tip is received on the shell movable between a closed position sealing the shell opening and an open position. A cover is releasably attached to the shell in a manner indicative of the tip being positioned in the closed position when the cover is attached to the shell. Both the shell and the cover may be provided with tamper-evident bands. The present invention is particularly well adapted to be formed as a push-pull container closure for sports bottles and the like.

Abstract: There is described a container in combination with a closure. The container has a profile defining an opening and the closure has a profile and overlies the opening so as to provide resealable access to the contents of the container via said opening. At least part of the closure is permanently adhered to the container by means of a sealing medium interposed between the container and the closure part. The profile of the container and the profile of the closure cooperate to define a space for the containment of the sealing medium which does not communicate with the opening.

Abstract: Dispenser cap applicable to the mouth of containers of liquid or creamy substances, the cap being sealingly closable and being provided with a security seal which is broken on dispensing the substance for the first time.

Abstract: Tab Shield is a thin plastic film, its shape is shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 3 of the attached drawings. Tab Shield will be used to protect a soda can pushdown tab. When moisturized, the soda can pushdown tab has a tendency to retain dust, bacteria, germs, or toxic particles, which may end up being washed into the soda, hence becoming harmful to human beings. Tab Shield will be used as an advertisement medium, as well as a collectible.

Abstract: A closure structure includes a closure body having a deck and depending sidewall, and a dispensing orifice through said deck. A closure cap has a lid part attached by a hinge to the body, and a cover part frangibly connected to the lid part, on a side of the lid part opposite the hinge. The lid part is latched to the body at lateral positions located between the hinge and the cover part. The cover part covers a lifting lip extending from the lid part. Removal of the cover part exposes the lifting lip for lifting by the user to open the lid part from the closure body.

Abstract: The invention concerns a device comprising a pourer, adapted to be mounted on the container neck, and an assembly forming a cover adapted to be mounted on said neck and comprising a cap mobile between a first position where it isolates the neck and the pourer from outside and a second position providing access to the neck and the pourer. The assembly forming a cover comprises two catching string rims (411, 412) extending radially inwards from a ring (41), one first string rim (411) being adapted to be engaged with an external flange (26) of the neck (2) while a second string rim (412) is adapted to be engaged with an external flange (36) of the pourer (3), said string rims (411, 412) defining between them a volume (V) for receiving the flanges (26, 36).

Abstract: A cover for a portable food container comprising a cover body and a utensil. The utensil includes a head piece and a handle piece. The head piece and the handle piece are each detachably secured to the cover body and are configured for assembly to each other upon detachment from the cover body to form the utensil. In one preferred embodiment, the handle piece includes a reinforcement for limiting longitudinal bending thereof. In an alternative embodiment, the cover further includes a protective film resealably secured to the cover body.

By providing an unseal confirmation member of which the condition changes when adhesive seal member 8A, 46A of seal for sealing 8, 46 provided on the drink/food container 1, 40 is reattached after being peeled once, the user can confirm at first sight that the drink/food container has been used.

Abstract: A form, fill and seal packaging machine for forming, filling and sealing a carton, molds a closure directly onto the carton. The machine includes a carton erection station adapted to receive a carton in a generally flat form and to erect the flat form carton into a tubular form defining an internal carton region. A direct injection molding station has an internal mold tool and an external mold tool. The internal mold tool is configured for receipt within the internal carton region and the internal mold tool and the external mold tool are configured to receive and clamp the carton therebetween. The direct injection molding station further includes a polymer injection system for injecting polymer from a location external of the carton to the internal mold tool. The closure is directly molded in place on the carton. A mold tool set, a method for carrying out the molding and a closure molded thereby are also disclosed.
