Each set of side handle and finger protector have a unique mating relationship. As such, in the mated position a lid rim rest upon a vessel rim. The lid may be rotated 180 degrees to rest non-mating finger protector and side handles. This lack of mating relationship causes the lid to be spaced upward, permitting venting or draining of the interior. The finger protectors may also fit within a handle aperture in the side handle.

    Abstract: A prop for propping the lid of a trash bin in a partially open position includes a frame having an elongated slot. The prop is mounted on a trash bin by inserting the lid hinge rod of the bin through the slot. When mounted on a trash bin, the prop can be moved in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the lid hinge rod, the rod sliding laterally in the slot. The prop can thus be moved between a position in which it supports the lid in a partially open position and a position in which the lid can be swung fully open. When the prop is in the former position, two arms, one or both of which may be integral to the frame, extend generally perpendicularly away from the axis of the hinge rod. In this position, one arm contacts the rear wall of the bin and the other contacts the lid of the bin. When the prop is moved to the other position, one of the arms disengages the portion of the bin with which it was it contact. The lid can then be freely swung to any position.

The open top of the container has external threads and the mouth of the lid is internally threaded with mating threads. The lid can be screwed onto the container to hold a two-liter bottle in place within the chamber. The dome of the lid has a hole with the neck of the two-liter bottle passing through the hole so that beverage contained within the two-liter bottle can be poured directly from the bottle as it is held in the cooler. The hole in the dome is internally threaded so that the cooler can also function as a container without an inserted two-liter bottle. In the latter case, a pour spout is provided with a threaded plug and a spout.

The length of the two side edges is slightly shorter than the length of the cylindrical container. The dispensing-tube and cap holder also includes a sheath, a tube-tensioning mechanism and a cap-holding mechanism. The sheath is disposed on one of two sides of the curved, rectangular sheet and holds the dispensing-tube.
