Abstract: A single container is divided into two separate compartments sharing a common horizontal partition. Each compartment has its own individual opening. A lid and a base portion are inter-changeable and can be attached to either of the two openings. The compartments are shaped horizontally instead of being shaped vertically in order to help flow the liquid through the spout. Two handles, one on each side of the lid, are slightly angled towards the spout to help further the flow of liquid.

Abstract: A gift box with bottom, right side, left side, front end, back end, and interior walls is provided. A plurality of compartments is included. A top wall that has a frame section with a lower surface is provided. The top wall has a plurality of windows that are capable of being opened. Each one of the windows is associated with one of the compartments. A liner layer is attached to the lower surface of the frame section and directly faces the compartments and the windows when the windows are in a closed position. Opening of one of the windows presents a portion of the liner layer to the user so that the user can punch through the portion of the liner layer to access the compartment associated with the opened window.

Abstract: The invention provides an insulated container having a temperature monitoring device that can be used to maintain an object stored in the container at a temperature that is below the normal operating temperature of the temperature monitoring device while still permitting the taking of measurements of the interior of the container. The container includes an RF transponder having an RF antenna, a temperature sensor, and a battery that is operatively connected to the transponder and the temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is positioned in the container so that it is in a temperature monitoring relationship with the interior space of the container. The battery is positioned at least partially in one of the walls of the container at a location that is spaced apart from the temperature sensor and that is selected so that the battery does not experience a temperature that is below an operating temperature of the battery.

The container has a closure with a fitment that attaches to the container. The fitment has separate bottom receptacle areas on one side and a top receptacle on the other. The separate receptacle areas are each exposed to different compartments within the container. The top receptacle area is connected to each of the separate receptacle areas by conduits. A selection head is provided having a pour spout and a plurality of baffle chambers. The pour spout has an open central conduit, wherein only some of the baffle chambers are open to that central conduit. The baffle chambers are received within the top receptacle area of the fitment. Different combinations of the baffle chambers selectively align with different conduits as the selection head rotates within the fitment.

Abstract: This invention provides a personal food storage buffet comprising a relatively large container of a size and shape that enables easy placement into and removal out of a refrigerator. The container has an upper tray and a lower tray. The lower tray is used to store utensils and dinnerware. The upper tray contains smaller containers and dispensers to store fixings and dressings. The upper tray also contains and heating/cooling pack to maintain freshness of the food. Positioned atop the perimeter of the cover is a pair of handles to transport the container. The upper tray and the lower tray may be connected together via a set of clips. An adjustable cover that serves as a sneeze guard is pivotally positioned over the upper tray via a pair of rods. When in the closed position, the cover attaches to the upper tray via a set of hinges and/or clips.

Abstract: A segregation disk and method of separately storing items in a collapsible, tubular container uses segregation disks for segregating the collapsible container into multiple chambers of user-selectable size. The segregation disks are generally planar disks having a diameter slightly greater than the interior diameter of the container, and formed of a flexible material that have a plurality of radial slits extending inwardly from their periphery to form a plurality of flexible wedges. At the terminus of each radial slit is a tear break, generally a circular hole. An integral pull tab extends from a peripheral region of one of the flexible wedges to facilitate removal.

Abstract: A portable organizer has a container portion that has a plurality of compartments that are formed by an arrangement of inner walls. The inner walls may be adjustable or statically arranged. A tongue is connected to the container portion that is used to anchor the container portion by fitting between a mattress and box spring or cushion and couch frame, etc. A hinge may be used to connect the tongue to the container portion to aid in storage. The tongue may be attached at an upper portion or lower portion of the container portion to match selected uses. In one embodiment, the tongue is compact and removable for easy and compact storage.

The container includes two reservoirs attached to each other by a bridge means and a base wall, and further includes an integral seal cap connected to the base wall by a fixed hinge means. The seal cap includes a lid, two annular sealing walls extending downward from the lid and adapted to seal the reservoirs, two closed dome-shaped structures extending upward from the lid and the annular sealing walls, a locking tab hingedly attached to and extending substantially co-planar with and outward from the lid, and a lid extension extending upward from the upper lid surface. The locking tab has a longitudinal slot therethrough and can be moved from its normal outwardly position to a securing position in which the longitudinal slot engages a securing member comprised in the base wall, preventing the seal cap from being unseated from the reservoirs.

Abstract: An atmosphere controlled, resealable foodstuff container includes a base tray and a cover. The cover and base tray are constructed of a substantially gas impermeable material. The cover and base tray include resealing members. When connected, the cover and base tray define a generally enclosed and sealed interior space for foodstuffs. The container includes at least one atmosphere control member, such as a membrane, which controls the flow of gases through an opening in the container. The member may be located over a recessed opening in the cover to permit the containers to be stacked without gas flow interference. A label extends over the recess, thus obscuring the membrane from view to the purchaser without affecting the membrane atmosphere control function. The base tray may be opaque for use as a serving tray and the cover transparent to permit viewing of the product.

Abstract: A closure for a multiple component container includes an insert (12), a piston (20) and a cap (10). The insert (12) and the piston (20) define a reservoir and the insert (12) comprises a fixed cylindrical wall (26) and a movable wall (32) connected thereto and movable with respect thereto by the action of gas pressure within the reservoir. The movable wall (32) has a discharge aperture (36) formed therein. The cap (10) comprises a closure plate (14), integral with whose outer edge is a depending skirt (16), by means of which the cap may be secured to a container. The closure plate (14) cooperates with the piston (20) such that movement of the closure plate towards the insert (12) results in movement of the piston also in the same direction. The piston (20) forms a sliding seal with the internal surface of the fixed cylindrical wall (26). A valve member (22) is integral with, the piston (20) and is slidably received in and seals the discharge aperture (36).

The compartments are joined by a series of apertures which may, or may not, be regulated by a movable barricade. Then, when desired, the multiple candies are dispensed through the series of compartment apertures and a dispensing aperture. One version comprises a flute-shaped device having an operational mouthpiece.

In a general embodiment, the present disclosure provides a multi-chambered container including a first chamber, a second chamber, and a third chamber. A second peelable seal separates the second and third chambers. The second peelable seal is independently openable by selective application of external pressure to the second chamber. The first chamber is separated from the second chamber by a permanent seal defining a transverse opening.

Abstract: A covered food container or serving platter incorporates a cover stand as part of the structure of the container. The cover may be temporarily stored on the stand while the user obtains access to the container. In one embodiment a portion of the cover is received within a suitably configured retention area formed within the container. Another covered serving container utilizes a central support extending from the platter and a corresponding support that extends from the cover, with an interlocking possible at the maximum extension of each support, thus separating the cover from the platter. A further embodiment utilizes a pair of covers, one receivable upon another to enable a nesting storage with access available to the exposed container storage area. A surface rib and groove formed in corresponding surfaces of the two covers provides stability when in the nested configuration.

Abstract: A holding plate includes a flat base member with a surface that is formed with a plurality of stations (wells or depressions) for holding specimens. A panel extends downwardly from the edge of the surface to create a concavity for receiving a lid member therein. The panel also has a flange extending outwardly from the concavity. The flat lid member has a skirt with a rim that extends from the edge of the lid member to create a hollow for receiving a base member therein. In operation, a robot or mechanical device selectively engages the flange of the base member and the rim of the lid member to engage or disengage the base and lid members. This allows for individual movement of either the base member or the lid member. This also allows for collective movement of the engaged base and lid members for stacking and storage.

The air gap is present between the bases (13, 14) of the inner and outer formings, with the outer forming being provided with ribs in its base also. In use food in the container can be heated in a micro-wave oven until hot. The air gap separates a handler's fingers from direct thermal contact with the hot food so that the container remains comfortable to handle.

Abstract: A portable receptacle for extinguishing and storing cigarette ends is described, which comprises two distinct, functionally independent, unequally sized chambers, one smaller chamber being equipped with a fire extinguishing substance for extinguishing a cigarette after use and the other larger chamber providing the space of collection of ashes during smoking and of the cigarette ends which have been previously safely extinguished through their immersion into the chamber containing the fire extinguishing substance. Additionally, the fire extinguishing substance containing chamber may constitute a means for extinguishing cigarettes in table ashtrays of an otherwise conventional form.

Abstract: A container for holding foods comprises a base member (1); a cover member (3) which is connected to the base member (1) by releasable locking engagement; a first recessed carrying handle (20) provided on a lower side of the base member (1); and a second recessed carrying handle (11) provided on an upper side of the cover member (3). To achieve a substantially flat support surface for both the base member (1) and the cover member (3), the first and second carrying handles (20, 11) are integrated with and recessed into the contour of the base member (1) and of the cover member (3), respectively, such that each of the base member (1) and the cover member (3) have substantially flat surface portions so that the container will rest stably on a flat support surface such as a table in both the upright and inverted positions of the container.

Abstract: A decorative apparatus for displaying items in internal cavities includes a housing that is at least partially transparent with opposing top and bottom members and sidewall members defining a hollow region therebetween. The decorative apparatus also includes a plurality of dividers within the hollow region separating the region into a plurality of internal cavities. The housing further includes a removable member, configured to provide access to each of the internal cavities, so that decorative objects within the internal cavities can be easily changed or rearranged. A method for decorating an apparatus includes placing objects within the hollow region through a housing access provided by removing a removable housing member and replacing the removable housing member.

Abstract: A closure device for a container, which possesses a locking element for mutually locking of two container parts when the container is closed. The locking element has first and second locking instrumentalities, which are arranged on the different container parts. By way of an actuating member, which is able to be switched over between a closed position and an open position a first engagement member may be shifted between a locking position and a released position. The open position of the actuating member corresponding to the locking position may be secured by an obstructing member in order to prevent unauthorized unlocking of the container. An opening mechanism renders possible an overriding of the obstructing action and a switching over of the actuating member into the open position.

The coin holder is preferably constructed of a translucent material to provide visual information as to the contents of the coin holder.

Abstract: A beverage container includes a container body having a shape substantially similar to a conical frustum and having a storage area defined by a side wall and a bottom wall. The container body also includes an open end for receiving a fluid for being contained within the storage area. The beverage container further includes a chamber defined by a chamber wall provided in cooperative arrangement with the side wall of the container such that the chamber protrudes into the storage area. The side wall of the container body also forms an opening for the chamber. A cover hinged to a bottom portion of the container includes interlocking portions for connection with corresponding interlocking portions on the container when the cover is closed.
