Abstract: A keg connector for coupling a dispensing line and gas line to a keg is disclosed having a closure with a sealed dispensing opening and gas opening. The connector has a mono-block body with a top plate structure having a perimeter, upper surface, lower surface, and clamping system. The clamping system has two clamping legs jutting from the lower surface of the top plate, and two levers jutting out of the upper surface of the top plate, each lever has a coupled end fixed to the opposite portions of the perimeter of the top plate as the hinge ends of the two legs. The connecter has a dispensing tube with an upstream portion jutting out of the lower surface of the top plate, and a gas tube with a downstream portion jutting out of the lower surface of the top plate parallel to the upstream portion of the dispensing tube.

Abstract: A water softening device for use for a pet is provided, comprising: a first chamber having a shape of a hollow container; a second chamber having a shape of a hollow container, the second chamber being detachably attached to an upper section inside the first chamber; and a filter cartridge having a plurality of openings and containing an ion exchange resin therein, the filter cartridge being detachably attached to a bottom section of the second chamber and positioned to protrude from the bottom section of the second chamber to a lower section inside the first chamber. The second chamber is configured to receive and contain first water including tap water, and the lower section inside the first chamber is configured to receive and contain second water that is the first water after passing through the filter cartridge based on gravity.

Abstract: The invention relates to a protective sleeve for beverage cans, of the type used as a hygienic protector that can be applied individually to each container, said sleeve including horizontal tearing means for accessing the pull ring of the can and vertical tearing means in the form of a pre-punched longitudinal strip. The sleeve is characterized in that it comprises a tubular body provided with a shaped base and, at the opposite end, an upper body, said sleeve being made from a strong, waterproof, printed material, having a similar configuration to the can and, optionally, including information in braille.

Abstract: Described herein is a coffee cup plug that includes a combination cup/container sleeve and plug assembly. The coffee cup plug includes a sleeve for disposable beverage containers as well as a detachable plug. The plug includes a fold line such that when the plug is detached from the sleeve and folded the folded plug is configured to be inserted into a dispensing aperture formed in the lid of the cup/container. Abstract: The present invention is directed generally to an apparatus to insulate beverage containers, and more particularly to a design which may sustain a temperature gradient over a designed time frame. In a particular embodiment of the invention, the insulated beverage container when housing a chilled liquid beverage initially in the range of 40 degrees Fahrenheit and ambient temperature no more than 80 degrees, the temperature of the liquid beverage will not rise more than 10 degrees over a period of 45 minutes with the insulating cap sealing the top of the beverage container. Similarly, the same insulated beverage container with a heated beverage initially in the range of 170 degrees Fahrenheit, and ambient temperature no less than 20 degrees, the temperature of the liquid beverage may not cool more than 10 degrees over a period of 45 minutes with the insulating cap sealing the top of the beverage container.

Abstract: Universal packaging for beverage containers of different sizes is described. The universal packaging includes a bottom support structure including an opening having an interior floor surface. A raised cylinder extends upwards from the interior floor surface. A beverage container of a first height fits within the opening in the bottom support by placing an open side of the beverage container down upon the interior floor surface, the raised cylinder extending into an interior of the beverage container of the first height. A beverage container of a second height, the second height being less than the first height, fits within the opening in the bottom support by placing a solid bottom surface of the beverage container of the second height down upon an upper surface of the raised cylinder.

Abstract: A device capable of storing beverages is provided with a base and a lid. The base includes a central cavity capable of retaining beverage containers and a cooling component. The bottoms of beverage containers may rest in container-retaining pockets molded into the bottom of the base and the tops of beverage containers may rest in one or more pockets protruding from the lid. One advantage is that the beverage containers may come into direct contact with the cooling component located in the central cavity of the base of the device.

The drawstring may include a first end and a second end, and the first end and the second may extend out from the napkin through at least one opening in the napkin. Each storage container has a lid with locking tabs or locking extension that hook underneath a protrusion around and near the top edge of the container to lock the lid to the container. The holder has a top with two downwardly extending sides with L-shaped extensions furthest from the top that create a ledge. The holder is attached to a surface. One or more containers with a lid locked thereto using the locking tabs or locking extensions are inserted into the holder and the underside of the locking tabs or locking extensions sit on the L-shaped extensions to support the container within the holder. There may be an interference fit between the container(s) with locked lid and the two downwardly extending sides that helps retain the container(s) within the holder and guarantees that two of the locking tabs are held in their locked position.

Abstract: A pill bottle for housing a blister card that includes a top section, a bottom section, and a center section connected by a pair of hinges. The top section and bottom section each include one half of a child-resistant neck. One half of the neck including a member that can be rotated while being connected to a knob having a hook on a bottom surface. The other half of the neck has two stacked platforms with one of the platforms having a slot and an opening. The hook lines up with and enters the opening to lock the pill bottle closed unless the knob is pressed so the hook drops too low for the opening and then rotated so the hook can slide out of the slot. This allows the top and bottom sections to open and reveal a blister card attached to the center section of the pill bottle.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a refill container, that holds and protects an internal tray filled with a cosmetic material. The refill container that holds the internal tray filled with the cosmetic material is made up of a mounting portion and an engaging portion. The mounting portion has a structure to be mounted over the internal tray in such a manner as to cover an exposed surface of the cosmetic material. The mounting portion has a lid portion that faces the exposed surface and protects the exposed surface in a mounted state and a holding portion that holds the internal tray in such a manner that the internal-tray bottom surface of the internal tray is exposed in the mounted state. Further, in the mounted state of the internal tray being mounted in the mounting portion, the engaging portion catches the internal tray in such a manner as to prevent the internal tray from being disengaged from the mounting portion.

Abstract: An adjustable two-piece juice box holder used for holding juice boxes and the like and preventing spillage when the box is opened and a straw is inserted into an opening in the top of the box and the liquid contents therein is consumed. The holder includes a bottom housing having an open top, a closed bottom, a first side, a second side, a third side and a fourth side. A top portion of the first and third sides includes an outwardly extending push button. A pair of vertical, parallel slits are disposed on opposite sides of the push buttons. The slits provide for forming a pair of flexible tabs in the top portion of the first side and the opposite third side. The flexible tabs with push buttons are used for releasably securing the bottom housing to a top housing. The top housing includes an open bottom, a semi-open top with a frame therearound, a first side, a second side, a third side and a fourth side. The first side and the opposite third side include a lower button hole and an upper button hole.

Abstract: A collection device for the collection and disposal of cigarette butts, cigar butts, and other small combustible debris found in and around smoking areas. The collection device includes a body member within which is defined a receptacle chamber and a funnel-shaped throat passage communicating with the receptacle chamber. The body member has an attached throat passage extension that has side portals which communicate with the throat passage. As debris is received through the side portal, it is directed along the throat passage and into the receptacle chamber for collection.

Abstract: A novel holder in the form of a structural volume for holding a container and a flexible strap coupled to the structural volume. The structural volume is made form a disposable unitary blank composed of a biodegradable material and having a central base with legs extending therefrom to form a cruciform shape. Fold lines are provided between the base and the legs that enable the blank to be folded into a prism to form the structural volume. A ring is attached to one of the legs remote from the base and has a tab for coupling with the opposite leg to complete the structural volume. A container can be carried in the structural volume and be supported on the base.

Abstract: An insulated holder for a bottle is made of a bodily flexible foam material having a lower sleeve for receiving the bottom of the bottle. An upper sleeve is attached to the lid and tapers upwardly to conform to the shape of an upper end of a bottle. The upper and lower sleeves accordingly receive most of the bottle thereby insulating it. When the bottle is discarded, the upper sleeve may be folded into the lower sleeve. A zipper cooperates between the lid and the lower sleeve to enclose the upper sleeve and provide a convenient package for transportation and display.

Abstract: Difficulties in retaining can holders in conventional vehicular drink holders are eliminated in a vacuum insulated can holder that includes a cup-shaped metallic outer liner having an upper opening, an opposite bottom and a generally cylindrical side wall extending upwardly from the bottom to the opening. A similarly configured cup-shaped metallic inner liner is nested within the outer liner and spaced therefrom to define vacuum space between the two. The outer liner has an outer diameter just less than the inner diameter of a conventional vehicular beverage holder while the inner diameter of the inner liner is just greater than the outer diameter of a conventional metal beverage can.

Abstract: A cap arrangement reseals a beverage container having a top with an aperture that can be opened to discharge the beverage and a rim with an inner surface around the top, in particular, carbonated soda can. The arrangement has a main cap for engagement over the beverage container top, for covering the beverage container top, a seal member connected hermetically to the main cap and extending toward the beverage container top and a locking mechanism connected to the main cap for fixing the main cap to the beverage can with sufficient force to resist pressure from, and to maintain pressure in the beverage container. The seal member has an annular pressure sealing portion adapted to engage against, and hermetical seal with the inner surface of the beverage container rim. The arrangement may also include an enclosure for receiving the beverage container. The enclosure may be insulated and form part of the locking mechanism which may be screw threads between the main cap and the enclosure.

Abstract: The present invention is an apparatus for controlling pressure of an air pocket of a double-layered cooking vessel, which prevents the distortion or explosion of the double-layered cooking vessel that may result from high pressures generated within the air pocket by the heating of liquid and moisture trapped within the air pocket. In a double-layered cooking vessel having an air pocket between inner and outer shells, the present invention includes an exhaust port located on the outer shell, a handle covering the exhaust port, and exhaust means located within the handle to allow the discharge of vapor steam from the air pocket and through an exhaust port. The exhaust means for controlling pressure inside the air pocket is performed by opening and closing the exhaust port.

Abstract: A cup-enveloping sleeve of elongated configuration for creating a thermal barrier around the circumference of a beverage cup or container. The sleeve comprises a flexible body with opposed top and bottom edges, with arcuately spaced apart arrays of radially projecting ribs being formed on the body and extending continuously between the top and bottom edges. At least one additional array of reticulated radially inwardly extending projections are provided, and positioned between mutually adjacent pairs of rib arrays, with these projections being segmented to define circumferentially extending land areas between mutually adjacent segments of projections so as to permit the sleeve to engage a variety of conventional cup sizes, and also to provide space for advertising or instructive indicia. Engageable couplings are provided to convert the elongated sleeve to a frusto-conical configuration.

Abstract: A micro tube cap opening device includes a tubular holder, a lifting bar and a mounting sleeve. The holder has a well supported by a sidewall of the holder and open at a first end thereof for receiving therein a tube body of a micro tube. The mounting sleeve is attached on and along the sidewall of the holder. The lifting bar is slidably mounted by and through the mounting sleeve to undergo movement between a retracted position and an extended position. A first end of the lifting bar in the retracted position is disposed adjacent to the first end of the holder and adjacent to a cap of the micro tube in a closed position interference fitted into the tube body of the micro tube when the tube body of the micro tube is disposed within the well of the holder.

One of the wall sections (14) has formed in it an opening (17) having around its periphery a plurality of elongate resilient fingers (18) projecting into the interior of the container. The fingers (18) together define a substantially frusto-conical structure such that when the neck of the bottle or other vessel is inserted into the container (10) through the opening (17) the fingers (18) are forced apart to allow passage of the neck until they have moved over the abutment surface formed on it. The ends of the plurality of fingers (18) engaged with the abutment surface to oppose movement of the neck of the bottle or other vessel out of the container.

Abstract: A lidded insulator for a beverage container comprising an insulator lid hingedly attached to an insulator body by means of a hinge. An insulator top ring having an insulator top ring bore is attached to the insulator lid. The hinge is made of resilient material possessing material memory tending to urge the hinge into a straight position. This hinge material memory tends to urge the insulator lid into a closed position. The lidded insulator for a beverage container is sized to frictionally admit a standard sized beverage container. Thus the beverage container is held securely within the insulator body, and when the insulator lid is closed on the beverage container, the frictional fit between the insulator lid and the beverage container holds the top closed, and together with the hinge material memory, urges the insulator lid top into sealing relationship with the beverage container opening.

Abstract: A windshield washing service unit for providing a station for holding the equipment and supplies needed for cleaning windshields and other windows. The windshield washing service unit includes a housing with a spaced apart pair of side walls, spaced apart front and back walls extending between the side walls, and a bottom wall extending between the side walls and connecting the front and back walls together. The front, back, and bottom walls define a receptacle therebetween. An insert is inserted into the receptacle. The insert defines an open topped reservoir designed for holding a liquid therein. An elongate dowel is extended between and rotatably mounted to the side walls above the receptacle.

Abstract: A press type thermos bottle comprises a bottle body with an internal liquid tank, a lower cover collared onto the upper end of the bottle body having a water pipe inset in the liquid tank and a through hole at its front end for one end of the water pipe to project out, and an upper cover having its rear end screw-jointed with the rear end of the lower cover and its front end snap-retainable to the front end of the lower cover. A valve disposed in the upper cover is pivot-jointed to a press mechanism via a connecting rod, wherein the lower end of the valve is inset in an air supply mechanism that is used to force water to flow out from the tank through the water pipe when the press mechanism is pressed.

The drink box holder includes a container having four sidewalls and a floor forming an internal cavity of a size to fit a substantial portion of the drink box. A lid that is sealably engageable with the container has an air inlet opening, an air regulating valve and a drinking spout with a fluid exit opening. The drinking spout is adapted to apply a suction from a user's mouth. A liquid outlet regulating valve is sealably engageable with the drinking spout. A straw have first and second ends is sealably engaged with the liquid outlet regulating valve at one end and is adapted to fit within the drink box at the other end.

Abstract: A beverage can holder for attachment to a person's belt, clothing pocket or the like has an open fronted holder body with a vertically extending back portion and a horizontal base portion on which a can may be rested. A pair of resilient arms extend from the back portion to clasp the can and have spaced apart front ends forming a gap into which a can may be forced by an at least partially sidewise movement of the can. A lid attached to the holder body by a flexible lid retainer has a circular lip proportioned to snap engage on the top of a beverage can and acts to seal opened cans. In the preferred form the lid has a plurality of lips with the lips being of progressively smaller diameter and being progressively closer to the underside of the lid thereby enabling engagement of the lid on cans of differing diameter.
