Abstract: A vacuum blender including a base assembly having a blender motor and a vacuum motor, a vertical arm member for engaging both a blender jar assembly and a storage jar assembly, and vacuum technology associated with the base assembly, the vertical arm assembly, and the lid member associated with both the blender jar assembly and the storage jar assembly for removing oxygen from within either the blending jar prior to the start of a blending operation, or a storage/to-go jar wherein a finished blended food item can be stored in the storage jar and oxygen can be removed from within the storage jar for better food preservation before the storage jar is stored in a freezer, refrigerator or other storage locations. The storage jar further includes a drinking spout wherein the contents in the storage jar can be easily accessed for drinking when removed from storage.

Abstract: A container used to transport and protect cylindrical consumable items is disclosed. This invention has reinforced walls made of a strong plastic material, a large latch that is easy to open, a gasket seal, and a removable insert with contoured inner chambers that reduce the amount of movement the contents of the case can go through during travel. Once the insert is removed the container becomes a crafting station for cylindrical consumables and the insert becomes a stand holder for crafted cylindrical consumables.

The threads on the pipe and threads on the neck of the bottle pass over each other when the closure is snapped onto the bottle during manufacture. The pipe includes a resistance recess and a guidance recess. A bottom rim of the pipe, the resistance recess and the guidance recess are in contact with a forcing element on a shoulder of the bottle and guide the closure into positions permitting unscrewing of the closure.

The base and lid each have trapping portions (20, 22) and pull-open portions (24, 32) with a tear-tab, or tear-open barrier (80). To close the lid, a clerk projects a tab (30) on the pull-open portion of the lid through a slot (26) in the pull-open portion of the base, and then presses down the entire trapping portion of the lid into the trapping portion of the base. The lid cannot be lifted up because the tear-open barrier (80) forming the top wall of the slot lies over the tab. To open the container, a person must tear the barrier so he/she can pull up the tab 30 and open the lid. The fact that the barrier has been torn is obvious.

The lid includes a central projection that extends into sealing contact with the gasket on the throat member to seal the lid to the throat member. A wire loop is provided to engage the button in an embodiment.

The new process shall be uniquely coined as “hygienecological”. The process incorporates a cellophane, hermetical wrapper that adheres to the beverage container end closure. The beverage container is partially covered with the wrapper or “crown”. In the cross-sectional view, the crown covers the upper and the immediate anterior surface area of the beverage container. The opener tab member of the circular lid is covered by the configuration of the cellophane hermetical wrapper. Within the inner wall of the unopened beverage container, the convex ledge of the circular lid rests inside the corresponding and underlying concave recipient member.

Abstract: A lid structure for use with a container for storing personal care products is disclosed. The lid structure includes a lid-activation button that when pressed allows the lid top to rotate about the lid base giving a consumer access to the contents of the container. Additionally, the lid-activation button functions so that the lid top is released independent of where the lid-activation button is pressed by the consumer. To create better and more consistent opening of the lid top portion, an inner longitudinal edge of the lid-activation button may be attached to the lid bottom via a living hinge that is formed integrally with the lid base. A strengthening rib is attached to the living hinge that keeps the main body side of the living hinge immobile and encourages the button side of the living hinge to flex when the lid-activation button is depressed.

Abstract: An improved truck bed toolbox lid and a method of producing the same. The truck bed toolbox lid includes an outer metallic sheet layer comprising a generally rectangular top sheet member, a longitudinal front edge member, two lateral edge members and a longitudinal rear edge member. A metallic liner sheet member is disposed inside the top sheet member in edge contact abutment with beveled inside edges of the front and rear longitudinal edge members and the lateral edge members to create an internal cavity in which the liner is by stitch welding. One or more injection ports are provided through the liner sheet member through which a self-expanding and self-curing, relatively high-density, foam is injected. The stitch welded edge contacts leave non-welded, gas permeable junctions along the wedged cavity periphery at a funneled apex of the edge contacted boundary which facilitate expansion of the foam toward the outermost edges of the cavity.
