The laptop carriage bag includes a collapsible protective frame, having a first plate and a second plate carried between a plurality of arms pivotally attached between each of the first plate and the second plate. The arms are selectively extensible to position the collapsible protective frame between an extended condition and a collapsed condition. In the collapsed condition, the protective frame defines a protective cage about a portable electronic device received in an interior compartment. A bag is configured to be received within an elongate cylindrical enclosure defined by the collapsible protective frame when in the extended condition. The bag has in interior carriage space dimensioned to contain the collapsible protective frame when configured in the collapsed condition.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a disposable container comprising a side wall, top and bottom, wherein the side wall and the bottom comprise a flexible material, wherein the side wall, top and bottom are joined together to define the container with an interior compartment for keeping a fluid inside the container. The bottom of the container comprises at least one portion of rigid or semi-rigid material comprising a folding means that enables folding of the bottom. Thus an easy way of folding the bottom of the container is provided.

Abstract: Modular containers are formed in a collapsible fashion by flexible or rigid bodies and panels. A size of a modular container may be selected by inflating the modular container to a desired pressure or volume, coupling two or more bodies of the modular containers together, or mating the bodies of the modular containers to common bases or surfaces. The modular containers may be accessed via one or more openings in vertical or horizontal surfaces of such modular containers in order to load items into such modular containers or to unload the items therefrom. The modular containers may be assembled or collapsed manually or automatically, and transported to one or more locations separately or in stacks.

Abstract: An auto-lock prop rod for a vehicle includes a folding rod having at least two section rod sections, wherein the folding rod includes a first rod section having a first end pivotally connected to an engine compartment opening and a second rod section having a first end pivotally connected to a hood. At least one pivotable joint is mechanically connected between a second end of the first rod section and a second end of the second rod section, wherein the at least one pivotable joint is configured to axially rotate to a locked position when the hood is moved from a closed position to an fully open position.

Abstract: A collapsible play yard including a structural support frame, a liner attached to the frame and one or more folding systems. The structural support frame includes an upper frame and a plurality of leg members. The proximal end of each leg member attaches to the upper frame member which is the single point of contact between the leg member and the remainder of the frame. The collapsible play yard can include a first folding system to shorten the width of the play yard and a second folding system to shorten the height of the play yard. Each folding system can be folded and unfolded independent of the other.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a transformable multifunction backpack, including a main backpack body, retractable rods, and detachable rods. The retractable rod has a fixed portion and a handle portion; the fixed portion is stored within the main backpack body, and the handle portion can extend out of the fixed portion telescopically. The retractable rod and the detachable rod are attached together with a lockable means, such as a lockable pin, for quick release and adjustment. The backpack also includes a rolling base board which can be placed under the backpack body, or been used as a skateboard. The retractable rod can also be used as a cane. The main backpack body also has a child strap for carrying a small child. The backpack main body is comprised of several different fabric pieces, connected together with a connecting means, such as zippers or buttons.

Thus, the rear wall corresponding to each of the storage units may follow a contour of a floorboard of the vehicle beneath the dashboard. A passenger may sit in the passenger side of the vehicle when the storage units are positioned beneath the dashboard. The front side corresponding to each of the storage units is open to store objects.

In one embodiment, for example, a catheter package assembly comprises a tray, a lid, and a coiled sheath disposed in the tray. The tray includes at least one pocket adapted to receive a distal end portion of a catheter. The tray and lid each include cooperative latching features. The sheath defines a lumen that is configured to receive an elongate shaft of the catheter.

Abstract: A single-use disposable method of making a circular expandable multi-plastic and aluminum ring with locking ring connectors with a bag attached to the inner parts of the rings with a cardboard base inside and outside the bag is presented. The invention includes multiple progressively larger light-weight rings held in a stable position by multiple and equidistant positioned locking connectors and connection at the bottom to a cardboard base, with a bag positioned inside and outside the ring-connector-base structure. The invention is most useful for garbage and trash disposal in picnic, camping, family reunion, barbecue, outside gatherings and outings type areas where conventional garbage and trash disposal units are not available.

The disclosure describes a novel light-weight collection bin that has a weight that is less than previously utilized collection bins. The light-weight collection bin utilizes a bag made of a fabric-like material in combination with a collection bin body that frames the bag to form the light-weight collection bin.

Abstract: The invention relates to an air cargo container with an interior space limited by a wall and sealed against the exterior for avoiding an entry of fluid. The wall comprises a first operating configuration wherein said interior space limited by the wall has a first volume VI1. Furthermore, in case of a fire the wall is deformed into a second operating configuration wherein said interior space limited by the wall comprises a second volume VI2 being smaller than the first volume VI1. A check valve blocks fluid from streaming from the exterior into the interior space but opens for a stream from the interior space to the exterior. An actuation means for changing the operating configuration in case of a fire automatically transfers the wall from the first operating configuration into the second operating configuration. During this transfer fluid is pushed from said interior space via the check valve to the exterior.

Abstract: We provide a method and apparatus for creation of temporary storage solutions. These may include, for example, one or more collapsible storage containers. These containers may be moved, optionally with many containers on a single transport unit, to a site in need of storage. The containers may be assembled on-site on an as-needed basis. Following assembly and use of the containers they may be disassembled and moved, optionally by single transport unit, to a new location in need of temporary water storage. Although not limited by the type of material that is stored, typical containers may store, for example, sand, water, gravel, carbon dust, or other solid or liquid substances.

Abstract: A collapsible cargo container is disclosed wherein end walls are pivoted into the container when empty and locked against the roof, and then side walls buckle via hinges into a folded configuration. The folded configuration is achieved easily with a modified spreader without the need to otherwise disassemble or deconstruct the container, leaving no loose parts or tools. The cargo container preferably constructed with an improved light weight panel that facilitates loading of the container while improving strength and reducing weight.

Abstract: A collapsible portable tank for storing liquids has a liquid impervious liner. The side walls of the liner are supported by a collapsible frame. A plurality of hand grips in a zigzag pattern on the floor panel of the liner facilitates manipulation of the liner to collapse the liner with the frame. The liner floor panel is of heavier material than the side walls and is heat sealed along its entire perimeter to the liner side walls, affording a more durable floor while eliminating clumsy excess liner material at the corners of the tank. Another hand grip on the floor panel opposite a drain in the liner side walls facilitates evacuation of stored liquid from the tank prior to collapsing the tank.

Abstract: An improvement to a collapsible liquid holding tank includes a chute which extends outwardly from an opening in one of the tank side walls. The chute is formed by a bottom panel and side walls of collapsible material, the bottom panel perimeter being reinforced by a hinged frame which swings between “vertical” and “horizontal” conditions in which the opening is “closed” and “opened,” respectively. A clamp hinged on the top rail of the tank secures the chute in the “closed” condition in which the bottom panel of the chute extends across the opening. To drain the tank, the clamp is rotated clear of the frame and the chute is swung to the “opened” condition by the weight of the liquid in the tank.

Abstract: Collapsible containers and associated methods are disclosed herein. Certain aspects of the invention are directed toward a collapsible container assembly that includes a foldable support member that has a length and a width. The support member has a concave cross-section that causes the support member to resist bending until a threshold force is exceeded. The support member has a folded position and an extended position where the support member is unfolded. The assembly further includes at least one surface member carried by the support member. The assembly has a deployed position where the support member is in the extended position and the at least one surface member forms an enclosure with an interior. The assembly also has a collapsed position where the support member is in the folded position. The container assembly has less exterior volume in the collapsed position than in the deployed position.

Abstract: A system including transportable all-terrain berm for receiving and retaining fluid. The berm includes flexible impervious sheeting generally formed of a coated fabric. The sheeting is shaped to include a floor area surrounded with opposed end and side wall sections forming a containment area. The end and side walls include adjacent their outer edges spaced retaining and support members. The berm includes a plurality of A-frame braces arranged in vertical positions about the flooring for supporting the end and side wall sections. Stabilizer members are engaged with the upper ends of adjacent braces. The retaining and support members are engaged with the brace members and the stabilizer members holding the end and side walls in generally elevated positions and in engagement with the braces forming the containment area. A bladder for containing and dispensing fluid may be located in the containment area, in which case the berm protects against bladder spillage while providing structural support.

Abstract: Molded plastic cover pieces and mating fabric or hard-side sidewall panel assemblies are disclosed for mounting over a storage container. The cover piece provides several raised rails at perimeter edges and rails defining tine receiving lifting channels that contain sub-frame members that stiffen the cover and facilitate attachment of the cover and side walls to form a complete cover assembly. Single panel and thermally bonded multi-panel cover assemblies are disclosed. Bracing members and/or embossed surfaces at the rails and tine receiving channel cover pieces strengthen the covers and direct water runoff Fabric or expansible hinges provide flexible transitions at intersecting sidewall corners. Alternative cover assemblies provide lifting towers, panels with tine receiving apertures or interconnected tension members.

Upon removal of the cross-members, adjacent wire loops can be twisted into a figure-8 configuration and folded over on itself to assume a compact, generally circular flat configuration for packaging, shipment and eventual storage by the user.

Abstract: A collapsible vase has a sleeve having an open state in which at least one item can be placed in the sleeve and a flattened state for storage during non-use of the vase. The sleeve has a flap at one end of each side panel of the sleeve. The vase also has a base with slots arranged to securely receive respective flaps when the sleeve is in its open state, whereby the sleeve is retained by the base in a substantially upright position.

Abstract: An inside stay berm unit incorporates a plurality of inside stays each stay connected to the interior of the berm unit by a plurality of stay securement tapes. Each respective stay is a respective closed ring after the stay is threaded through and retained within at least one respective wing aperture in at least one floor stay securement tape and at least one wing aperture in at least one sidewall stay securement tape and through at least one wing loop aperture in a sidewall top edge stay securement tape and closed by a closure means. The invention allows easy removal and replacement of any damaged stays.
