  • Patent number: 7938297
Abstract: Certain pump dispensers, for example foam dispensers, are specially adapted for inverted use. One feature especially useful in a foam dispenser having both an air cylinder and a liquid cylinder with respective pistons is an intake conduit arrangement to increase the clearance of liquid from the container. An intermediate shell fits over the upright liquid cylinder body and carries an inlet valve positively urged upward to the closed position to prevent leaking. A conduit shell fits over the intermediate shell and creates an intake conduit extending down the side of the liquid cylinder to an intake opening lower down the pump body.

Abstract: A structure for a green nozzle includes a, pressing body, a spring, a fixing cover, a piston, a connecting rod, a switch valve and a cylinder. The output tube of the pressing body inserted into the spring, the fixing cover, and the piston is connected to the connecting rod. The spring is installed inside the round dented surface located at the upper part of the fixing cover. The switch valve is inserted into the connecting rod from the lower part such that the cylinder is located at the inner lower part of the fixing cover and is further connected to a straw and installed inside a container. The fixing cover is installed at the opening of the container. Liquids such as lotion or perfume inside the container will not get in contact with the spring of metallic material. Thus, chemical change will not happen, and environmental issues can be ignored. In addition, a simplest assembly can be used to reach the function of ejection of the liquid.

Abstract: A dispenser for flowable media is provided, which operates in user-independent manner with respect to the pressure buildup and dosage quantity. On pressing on an operating head (35) a piston rod (29) is forced into a pump cylinder. As the pump chamber (52) is sealed by means of a delivery valve (51), which operates in path-dependent manner as a slide valve, under the action of a spring (42) pressing on the piston collar (43), a pressure builds up in the pump chamber (52), which is released following a predetermined length of travel on opening the delivery valve. A relatively constant pressure can be obtained over the entire discharge phase through the pretension of spring (42).
