Container-mounted Fluid Pressure Generating Pump Or Pulsator Patents (Class 222/401)
  • Patent number: 11952257
Abstract: A fixed nozzle pump appropriate for food service and dispensing of other fluids of varying viscosities is contemplated. The components are modularly connectable for easy assembly and cleaning. A piston and sealing ring cooperate with the chamber extension formed in the pump body to facilitate reciprocating pump action while minimizing the number of components disposed in and exposed to the fluid flow path. A novel, injection-moldable valve is integrated on the dispensing nozzle. The entire assembly may be disposed within a container shell which itself includes a replaceable pouch filled with the fluid to be dispensed.

  • Patent number: 8555934
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for filling and evacuating a dispenser unit for paste-like, foam-form or liquid media. In the known methods, a storage container is evacuated via a suction pump, which otherwise serves for the delivery of the medium, after filling. The risk exists hereby that medium is drawn in. In order to make the drawing-off process more effective and more reliable, a method and a filling insert for a dispenser unit are proposed according to the invention, wherein at least one air duct is provided parallel to the suction pump. The evacuation takes place by the application of a pressure difference between storage container and the environment, which is just so great that air can in fact be drawn through the air duct but no viscous medium can be drawn.

Abstract: The invention proposes an improved method and system for carrying a solvent. To this end, the system (10) for carrying a solvent (20) according to the invention comprises: a container (30) for containing said solvent, a tube (40) placed in said container, said tube having a first extremity (41) placed in the proximity of a bottom part (36) of said container, and a second extremity (42) extending up to an upper part of said container, and an air pump (50) for generating an air flow exiting at said bottom part, such that at least part of said air flow can enter the tube at said first extremity, for carrying said solvent in said tube from said first extremity to said second extremity. By generating an air flow by means of an air pump instead of vapor bubbles naturally generated by locally boiling solvent, solvent can reach the second extremity of the tube while having a much lower temperature than the boiling temperature of the solvent.

Abstract: The present invention is a fuel transfer pump for use with standard portable containers of various sizes, shapes, manufacturers and configurations. The fuel transfer pump allows the user to fuel objects higher or lower than the portable container, quickly, without the need to lift the portable container. The core components of the invention are a wheeled framework (cart), clear flexible tubing, fill handle/nozzle (shut-off valve), double-action air pump with hose, and connector sleeve, which, generally speaking, are configured as follows: the connector sleeve attaches and seals the portable container outlet to the tubing, which extends down to the bottom of the container on one end and has the fill handle/nozzle (shut-off valve) at the other end; the sleeve also has a port to attach and seal to the air pump hose to enable pressurizing the container, inducing fuel flow.

Abstract: A foam pump has a spring isolated from a flow path. Due to the arrangement of inner tube and outer tube of the pressing head and a spring installed between the inner tube and the outer tube, in the suction process, the liquid (or emulation) in the bottle flows through the inner channel of the inner tube and thus it does not contact with the outer tube so that the foams will not be polluted by the material spring. The spring is isolated with the foaming flow path so that it does not resist the flow of the foams; the liquid (or emulsion) does not contact the foams so that the foams are not polluted and thus the liquid in a bottle is retained purely; the liquid is not chemically reacted with the material of the spring and thus no harmful object generates.

Abstract: A bifurcated foam pump assembly for use in foam dispensers. A liquid dispensing portion of the foam pump assembly is attached to and disposable/replaceable with a liquid cartridge for the dispenser. The air compressor or air pump portion of the foam pump assembly comprises a portion of the dispenser itself and is attached to the dispenser housing. Upon replacement of a cartridge, the two portions mate and are operative as a foam pump generator. The liquid portion of the foam pump is received within a liquid chamber by gravity, and is subsequently driven from that chamber by air from the air compressor, which drives both the air and liquid through a foam generating member, such as a sponge or mesh. This foam generating member is a part of the liquid portion of the pump, and is replaced with the cartridge.

Abstract: A dispenser for hair building solids can be readily operated and aimed with one hand. A bulb that provides air for suspending the solids is located directly on top of a dispenser body. The bulb can be depressed by a single finger when the device is held in one hand. When the compressed air exits the bulb, it follows a direct straight downward pathway to the surface of the hair building solids. Air exiting the bulb passes through an air injecting orifice that is directed towards the surface of a mass of hair building solids suspending the solids within the turbulently pressurized container, which solids are then directed smoothly by the domed undersurface of the dispenser body into the straight bore of a short nozzle. The path followed by the solids is without bends thereby avoiding clogging.
