Abstract: A device for dispensing detergent into a dishwasher, comprising a cover element for closing off or opening up at least one opening (2) of a reservoir (1) for storing the detergent, wherein the reservoir (1) has at least one base wall (8) arranged opposite the opening (2) and at least one side wall (7) oriented transversely to the base wall (8), is proposed, which device improves on the prior art. This is achieved according to the invention by virtue of the fact that at least one water conducting element (5, 9) is arranged for the conductance and/or guidance of water.

Abstract: The present invention relates to apparatus and methods for assembling food products. More particularly, the invention relates to apparatus and methods for associating foodstuff and liquid with a base. Foodstuff may include food items such as meats, vegetables, cheeses, amongst others. Liquids include those food items that have a low viscosities (e.g. sauces, dressings, oils), high viscosities (e.g. peanut butter, frosting), and anything in between. A base can be anything on which foodstuff or liquid may be associated (e.g. bread, cake, cookies, pizza dough, a bowl in which to place foodstuff).

Abstract: An apparatus for applying a de-icing material to a surface includes a receptacle and a handle. The receptacle includes a base portion and a sidewall portion coupled to the base. At least a portion of the handle is coupled to the sidewall portion. The apparatus further includes at least one opening that extends through the sidewall. The opening is dimensioned to accommodate passage of the de-icing material. Upon rotating the handle, the de-icing material is expelled from the receptacle through the opening.

Abstract: A one-piece dispensing cap includes a sidewall and an upper surface. A lid is hingedly connected to the upper surface and the lid is moveable between open and closed positions. A plurality of dispensing apertures are disposed in the upper surface and a plurality of projections depend from an interior surface of the lid. The plurality of projections mate with the plurality of apertures to seal the cap in the closed position.

Abstract: Decorating devices for creating a desired decorative pattern of edible or non-edible particulate material on the surface of an article by causing particles, granules, etc. of the particulate material to pass through a pattern comprising a plurality of holes in a template are disclosed. The method of using the devices to decorate the surface of articles is also disclosed.

Abstract: A closure for dispensing a metered amount of dry product from a container includes a dispensing cap and a metering drum rotatably mounted on the dispensing cap. The dispensing cap has an upper deck with a dispensing aperture and a skirt engaging the neck of the container. The metering drum has an upper deck, a lower deck, and a metering chamber therebetween. The metering chamber has an entrance aperture in the lower deck and an exit aperture in the upper deck. The metering drum is rotatable relative to the dispensing cap between a filling position, where the metering chamber is aligned with the dispensing aperture and dry product fills the chamber, and a dispensing position where the metering chamber is not aligned with the dispensing aperture and dry product can be dispensed. The dispensing cap and the metering drum include formations to index a position of the metering drum.

Abstract: An apparatus and method are disclosed for dispersing, measuring, and regulating chia seeds. The chia seeds are configured to provide a Mila blend of chia seeds, containing high nutrient and vitamin counts. The chia seeds are loaded into a container configured to hold and disperse the chia seeds. A base supports the container, while a dispersion end provides a surface for dispersing the chia seeds. A plurality of apertures allows the chia seeds to at least partially pass through. Each aperture can be sized and dimensioned differently to allow different sizes of chia seed to pass, and to measure the amount of chia seeds dispersed. A barrier rotates on the dispersion end to regulate access to the plurality of apertures. An access aperture positioned on the dispersion end provides a space sufficiently sized for loading/unloading the chia seeds.

The fluid dispensing system may further include a shim disposed between the first die portion and the second die portion to maintain the spaced positioning of the first and second die portions, wherein the shim defines a plurality of channels bounded by the first and second faces and extending from the cavity in a direction toward the fluid outlet.

The handle includes a base portion and a handle gripping portion that a user may grip to transport and use the dispenser. The handle is inserted within the body such that the entire handle, including the handle gripping portion, is within the body, thereby allowing the shaker dispenser to sit, if desired, on the end having the handle. The body includes indentations, or cut-aways, that allow the handle to be visible from at least one of: a front view, a side view, and a back view. A method of manufacture and use of a shaker dispenser is also described.

The cover base portion can include a plurality of dispensing apertures for allowing a food product to be dispensed therethrough. The rotatable top portion can be selectively rotatable relative to the cover base portion and the container portion. The clump decimator portion can extend downwardly and radially from the top portion through the cover base portion and into the container portion. The clump decimator can rotate as the rotatable top portion is rotated to agitate the contents of the container portion while they are being dispensed.

The closer includes a pivot arm having an end pivotably connected to the first section. The pivot arm has a flat portion near the end. The flat portion is configured to contact the first section of the lid to maintain the closer in an open position relative to the strainer section. The first section has a recessed area above the strainer section.

Abstract: The invention provides a popcorn butter dispenser comprising an elongate tube having perforations along its length allow butter or flavoring to be evenly distributed throughout an entire container of popcorn as opposed to coating only the kernels on top. This dispenser is able to function equally well with real melted butter as well as flavored oil based toppings. The popcorn butter dispenser is manufactured of suitable materials such as lightweight stainless steel, for example.

Abstract: A flip guide plug structure for a bottle includes a lower main body, an upper main body, a lower plug, a guide pipe, an upper plug, a connection unit and two magnetic members. The upper main body can be opened relative to the lower main body through the connection unit, and then positioned by the attraction of the two magnetic members to prevent an unexpected closing. The flip guide plug structure of the present invention is very convenient for use.

The sift deck contains a deck surface surrounded by a first snap bead and a first sealing surface, and pouring holes formed on the deck surface. The lid contains a second snap bead and a second sealing surface that are formed on the underside of the lid and engage with the first snap bead and first sealing surface, respectively, to form a seal around the sift deck when the lid is in a closed position.

Abstract: A dispensing guide for seasoning such as herbs and spices takes the form of a dispensing chute defined by a broad and elongate tongue, the sides of which curl in an arc. The tongue has two resilient arms extending from a base portion of the chute which, together with the curved sides of the tongue, form a semi-circular ring that fits around and secures to a dispensing end of a seasoning dispenser in use. The guide in use prevents steam, moisture or heat from entering the dispensing end of the seasoning dispenser.

This is achieved by a combination of a hollow, tapering jacket with a hollow pipe axially disposed within it. The invention furthermore relates to a bottle pourer having a spout and the pouring insert described herein. The invention also relates to the use of the pouring insert and of the bottle pourer for aerating wine. Abstract: Fixed amounts of granular and granulated seasonings are dispensed from a rotatable disc that lies flat or horizontal and which includes a through-hole or void. The void is gravity-filled with granulated seasonings from a hole in the bottom of a hopper. A screen below the disc is formed to have open, through-holes and a solid land. The void in the disc fills with granules when the void is beneath a hole in the hopper but over a solid land thus preventing granules to spill through the disc. Rotation of the disc moves the void away from the land, allowing granules in the void to fall through holes in the screen. A gasket provides a seal between the disc and the hopper. The disc is rotated back and forth around its axis by vertical movement of an actuator about the horizontal hinge.

Another embodiment includes a bellows container that contains the powder and propels the powder through the powder delivery train. Abstract: A sifter insert for the neck of a powder jar is secured above the product reservoir and below the cap of the jar. The insert has a central concave dish for supporting a quantity of powder product, and a channel around the perimeter of the dish. The insert is secured in the neck such that the dish is spaced below the bottom of the cap. Slots in the channel permit the flow of powder from the reservoir into the channel when the jar is inverted with the cap closed, and from the channel onto the dish when the inverted jar is righted. Powder in the dish is accessed by the user upon removal of the cap. The cap is then closed and the jar shaken to return excess powder from the dish to the reservoir through the slots in the channel.

The domed portion includes a plurality of orifices each having an internal opening and an external opening relative to a thickness of the domed portion. The orifices are formed spaced apart from one another through the domed portion at an angle, such that the external opening of a particular orifice is off-set from the corresponding internal opening, to thereby enhance wide-dispersal of contents of a package to which the cap is attached.

Abstract: A dispenser for salt or other dry granulated material includes a combination of a container, a sprinkling cap and a flow-reducing element located between the sprinkling cap and an opening of the container. The void in the disc fills with granules when the void is beneath a hole in the hopper but over a solid land thus preventing granules to spill through the disc. Rotation of the disc moves the void away from the land, allowing granules in the void to fall through holes in the screen. A gasket provides a seal between the disc and the hopper. The disc is rotated back and forth around its axis by vertical movement of an actuator about the horizontal hinge.
