With Height Adjustment Patents (Class 222/612)
  • Patent number: 8205647
Abstract: The present invention relates to a machine (10) and adaptor device (18) for allowing supply of beverages in containers having different sizes at least in height. The device (18) is fixed to a component (15) of the machine (10) and comprises supporting means (53, 54) arranged to rotate substantially in a plane from a first position, in which the machine (10) is apt to supply the beverages in containers having a first height, to a second position in which the machine (10) is apt to supply the beverages in containers having a second height, lower than the first one. The device thanks to the simple construction can be equipped with a motor in order to rotate the supporting means (53, 54). The device (18) may be adapted also to machines in use.

  • Patent number: 6851633
Abstract: A liquid dispenser. The dispenser includes a base structure, a plurality of cartridges releasably mounted to the base structure, and a valve fluidly coupled with an applicator head to allow continued contact with and selective deposition of the liquid to a product passing through a travel path between the cartridges. At least one of the cartridges is linked to the base structure through a variable coupling that is linearly responsive to changes in thickness or planarity of the product such that the applicator head automatically maintains constant contact with the product, regardless of such changes, without having to stop the dispenser or ancillary pieces of machinery. The cartridges are hand interchangeable such that liquid can be deposited on either an upper or lower surface of the product without requiring any tools to affect top-down or bottom-up deposition.

  • Patent number: 5234128
Abstract: A material spreader consisting of a hopper, attached to a motor vehicle, which receives and dispenses an aggregate material in predetermined quantities and in a layer having substantial uniformity in thickness. The rate of dispensing the aggregate material is controlled by a computer which receives the desired weight of aggregate per area data input from the operator, senses the velocity of the motor vehicle, and adjusts the release rate of the aggregate from the hopper. The hopper is laterally expansible to accommodate varying road widths, and dispenses the aggregate material through gate openings in the bottom of the hopper. The aggregate is dispensed from the hopper without the aid of any operational parts exposed to the aggregate material within the interior area of the hopper.

  • Patent number: 4632284
Abstract: A seeding device to dispense seed suspended in a gel or other carrier medium in either a continuous stream or discrete pulses. A coulter opens a furrow of earth to the proper depth and seed carried in a gel or other suspension medium is delivered in a pulsed or continuous stream into the furrow which is then covered with earth by a trailing coverer. An auger delivers the seed in suspension and the speed of the auger is controlled to vary the volume of seed and gel or other suspension medium delivered. Circumferentially spaced cam lobes on a drive wheel control the frequency and therefore the row spacing of the seed suspension medium distributed in the pulse delivery mode.

  • Patent number: 4545531
Abstract: A versatile manually operated striping device has a wheeled base and a handle for pushing the base. The base is in a block Y configuration which provide a U-shaped front end. The front wheels are mounted on separate axles that are extra long. A disk shaped mask is attached to the inboard side of each axle. For normal striping, a can tower is mounted on a moveable mounting bracket that is positioned so that the center of the bottom of the can tower is centrally located in said U-shaped front end. An aerosol spray can inserted in the can tower then sprays, the paint between the legs of the U to provide the normal working, when an actuator is activated. The moveable mounting bracket can be relocated to permit spraying behind the central transverse portion of the base or to the side.
