An activator member is slideably accommodated in said applicator member.

Abstract: A dispensing device includes a that is longitudinally movable in a second chamber and has an outer surface sealingly contacting an inner surface of the second chamber. An intermediate valve is positioned between an interior part of the first chamber and an interior part of the second chamber. The intermediate valve includes a valve seat plate having at least one opening and a valve flapper plate having at least one flapper for covering the at least one opening in the valve seat plate. The at least one flapper moves to an open position allowing the liquid product to flow from the interior space of first chamber to the interior space of the second chamber when the first chamber is moved in a first longitudinal direction and moves to a closed position limiting flow of the liquid product when the first chamber is moved in an opposite second longitudinal direction.

Abstract: A hand-actuated pump includes a cylinder with a proximal end and a distal end. The distal end defines an opening. The hand-actuated pump also includes a piston with a proximal end. The proximal end of the piston is configured to be slidably inserted into the distal end of the cylinder. An exhaust port is positioned at the proximal end of the cylinder and includes a coupler that is configured to be removably attached to an inflatable object and to communicate air to the inflatable object. The coupler is also configured to be selectively locked in an extended position and a closed position.

Abstract: A device for disinfecting a head of a stethoscope has a receiver adapted to hold a supply of disinfecting agent. A dispenser that is mounted to reciprocate relative to the receiver has a receptacle for receiving the head of the stethoscope. The dispenser can communicate with the supply of disinfecting agent and deliver its disinfecting agent to the receptacle. By pressing the head of the stethoscope against the dispenser, disinfecting agent will pass from the receiver through the dispenser and onto the head of the stethoscope.

Abstract: An improved means for dispensing powder and shaping/scuffing the tip of a billiard cue, for use during a game of billiards, is herein disclosed. The design of the compact, substantially cylindrical device incorporates the combination of portability, functionality, user discretion, and neatness/convenience of use lacking in the prior art. The device provides a simple, yet reliable means of dispensing small, easily controlled amounts of powder onto the hands of billiard players via the use of a ball and spring assembly. The device allows the user to dispense/apply the powder by (1) compressing the assembly and “rolling” the powder, or (2) “tapping” the ball and spring assembly on the appropriate area of the hand(s). The present invention is a device that also includes a shaping/scuffing tool, on the end opposite the ball and spring assembly, that allows an individual to manicure the tip of a billiard cue.

Abstract: A volumetric dosing system for bulk material utilizes a telescoping measuring container in which the upper portion carries the upper limit sensor for the height of the bulk material in the container and extends into the lower container below the level of the bulk material therein. Upper and lower closures are controlled by this sensor and another sensor detecting the system. The unit is disposed between a mixer and a silo.

The discharge actuator actuates the discharge of the medium, and the discharge actuator is convertable over an actuating stroke into varying actuating positions. The actuating positions include an initial rest position and an actuated end position. The medium outlet is for expelling the medium. The medium reservoir defines a measured content of medium to be discharged upon a single actuating stroke, and the medium reservoir includes an oblong hollow needle member for caching the medium to be discharged out of the medium outlet.

The mixing chamber (18) includes a second wall (20) spaced axially below the first wall (16). The second wall (20) includes an air inlet (32) bordered by an upwardly directed lower valve seat (28). An axially movable valve plug (32) is located within the mixing chamber (18). The valve plug (32) has upper and lower surfaces (34 and 36), with the lower surface normally resting on the lower valve seat (28), and its upper surface (34) normally spaced axially from the upper valve seat (24).
