Abstract: A firefighter backpack assembly for transporting equipment for wildfire fighting includes a panel that is wearable on a user's back and a pair of shoulder straps each being coupled to the panel for wearing over a respective one of the user's shoulders. A tool bag is coupled to the panel to carry tools thereby facilitating hands-free transportation of the tools when the user wears the panel. A pair of belts is each coupled to the panel to secure a chainsaw to the panel thereby facilitating hands-free transportation of the chainsaw. A storage pouch is suspended from the tool bag to contain a fire shelter.

Abstract: A foldable baby carrier includes a seat cushion connected to the carrier body. The seat cushion includes a hipseat detachably mounted on the carrier body and a cover sleeved on the hipseat. The hipseat includes a support portion and a bearing portion, and the support portion and the bearing portion are rotatably connected to form a foldable body through two switch buttons disposed on two sides of the support portion. A support connection base is fixed on the support portion, a bearing connection base is fixed on the bearing portion. The spring abuts against a switch control lock and the bearing connection base. When a position-limiting block provided on an outer wall of the switch control lock is in an open position-limiting recess, the position-limiting block is stuck by the open position-limiting recess and in an open state.

Abstract: A dual-wrap child carrying system is configured to be worn by a person for carrying a child. The system includes a dual-wrap garment and a child support configured to releasably attach to the dual-wrap garment. The dual-wrap garment includes a primary wrap, a number of stays positioned in a back segment of the primary wrap for flexible support, and a secondary wrap. The primary wrap is configured to encircle the person and secure at a front side of the person. The secondary wrap includes a stretchable textile having a higher elasticity than a material of the primary wrap and is configured to encircle the person over the primary wrap and secure at the front side of the person.

Abstract: A personal equipment suspension system with active support to the lumbar region includes a belt to surround the user's waist and a frame supported on the belt with a resilient membrane of synthetic elastomeric crystalline material in tension on the frame to be interposed between the belt and the user. The frame includes spaced ends and the membrane is a lattice in tension between the spaced ends. In one embodiment, the system is a support belt. In another, it is load bearing such as a backpack configuration. In another, it includes stanchions to support a body armor vest.

Abstract: An adjustable child carrier includes an adjustable bucket seat that can be adjusted to accommodate children of a wide range of sizes. The child carrier includes one or more adjustments that work alone or in cooperation to adjust the depth and width of the bucket seat area provided by the child carrier. The carrier is capable of supporting children of various sizes in an ergonomic position appropriate for the child's size.

Abstract: A seat cushion-foldable baby carrier is disclosed. A seat cushion includes a hipseat detachably mounted on a carrier body. A supporting portion and a bearing portion of the hipseat are connected by rotating a switch button to form a foldable body sheathed in a bushing. A connecting shaft included in each of a left switch button and a right switch button is fixed on a side portion of the supporting portion after sequentially running through a bearing connection base, a switch control lock, and a spring. One end of the switch control lock is movable in a left/right direction to be inserted into the side portion of the supporting portion, and the other end is provided with at least two limiting grooves. The spring presses against the side portion of the switch control lock and the side portion of the supporting portion. The bearing connection base is connected to the bearing portion, and is protrudingly provided with an engaging bump corresponding to the limiting groove of the switch control lock.

The second frame element comprises a transition portion and a backrest portion. An angle is formed between the backrest portion and the transition portion. The transition portion has a width in the first direction smaller than a maximum width of the carrier frame.

Abstract: A collapsible flexible shoulder-borne carrying device includes a dividable lumbar support with a support bar attached to the lumbar support. The support bar extends transversely from the lumbar support at a point of attachment. The upper part of the support bar is rigid, and the lower part of the support bar has a free end that is pliable and bent inward toward the lower part of the lumbar support to provide an open arch. A length-adjustable support harness with fasteners is secured to the free end of the support bar and is secured to a free end of the lumbar support to fasten the open arch in a desired position. A seat cover has at least one safety strap and at least one leg restraint in a lower part of the seat cover. At least one support strap is fastened to the upper part of the lumbar support.

Abstract: In general, disclosed is a multi-use and gun-protective apparatus for secure and hands-free carrying of a long gun in close proximity (in time, distance, and procedure) to a gunman carrier's gun firing position. Basically, in one embodiment, the apparatus is a reversible, open-ended, and chest-mounted bi-fold pouch configured to fold around at least part of the receiver portions (the portions of the rifle that contains the operating parts, e.g., bolt carrying group, trigger group, or magazine port) of a long gun). In operation, a long gun may be provided to the pouch so that the gun is transversely oriented with respect to torso of the gun carrier whereby the barrel of the long gun extends out of one end of the pouch while the stock of the long gun extends out of the other end of the pouch.

The torso-encircling component is configured with a zipper, allowing fast and easy placement and positioning of the baby. Abstract: A lightweight “adaptor” or “insert” is disclosed, which will enable a non-powered transport device (such as a lightweight collapsible sled) to safely and securely transport several infants at once. The insert can be quickly but securely strapped to the sled, and three or more infants can be strapped down in accommodating basins (or pockets, wells, trays, or similar terms) on the upper surface of the insert. It will provide cushioning as well as thermal insulation, and can provide bedding for several infants if a need arises, for as long as the need persists. One or more “pockets” (or wells, basins, etc.) can be provided in the insert, to carry and hold various types of equipment, such as medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, special nutrients, or equipment that may be needed by one or more of the infants being held by the carrier device.

The apparatus further includes a waist panel attached to the second edge of the base panel such that the base panel is configured to wrap around the waist of the wearer in the first arrangement and to wrap around the seat portion of the chair such that the child situated within the apparatus is unable to stand upright in the second arrangement.

Abstract: A child harness comprising: (a) a crotch support coupled to a frame, the crotch support adapted to provide a seat for a child and distribute the child's weight to the frame; and (b) an active restraint coupled to the frame and responsive to the movement of the child secured therein, the active restraint including a leg strap adapted to engage a leg of the child and a shoulder strap adapted to engage a shoulder of the child, where the leg strap is operatively coupled to the shoulder strap, and where movement of one of the leg's or shoulder's of the child to engage the leg strap or shoulder strap restraining that portion of the child's body operates to increase tension on the corresponding shoulder strap or leg strap on the same side of the child's body. The invention provides an action-reaction harness system as well as a method of accommodating a child's range of movements without compromising the integrity of the harness.

Abstract: A hip pouch storage device that converts easily to a secure baby carrier. The hip pouch has a first end, a second end, a top surface, an inner surface and an outer surface. The hip pouch includes an adjustable length waist strap that attaches to the first and second ends of the hip pouch. The hip pouch includes a first pocket located on the inner surface of the pouch. A support sling that has an inner surface, an outer surface, a first side, a second side, a lower attachment point and first and second upper attachment points is provided. The support sling is fixedly attached to the interior surface of the first pocket and includes an adjustable length neck strap attached to the first and second upper attachment points of the support sling. A neck pad may be provided to fit slidably upon the neck strap. In use, the hip pouch is attached to the wearer about the waist with the waist strap and the support sling is extended from the first pocket and the neck strap placed over the wearer's head about the neck.

Abstract: A child carrier for supporting a child adjacent the back of a user's torso includes a forward portion having straps engageable with the user's torso for enabling the user to tote the child carrier in a hands-free manner. A rearward portion is generally rearward of and spaced from the forward portion and a seat portion is connected generally between the forward and rearward portions for supporting a child. A child compartment is between the forward and rearward portions and defined at least in part by the seat portion. A child safety harness includes at least two shoulder straps connected to the carrier at respective first ends of the shoulder straps and positioned in the child compartment to extend over the shoulders of the child when the child is placed on the seat portion. An adjustment strap is coupled to respective second ends of the shoulder straps.
