Abstract: A belt mountable holder and methods of making and using a belt mountable holder including an arcuate member suspendable from a belt disposed about the waist of a wearer and having mateable fasteners disposed on an exterior face of the arcuate member to releasably couple one or more containers to carry articles or tool retainers to retain tools and optionally including a holder support to transfer a holder weight normally applied to the waist of a wearer to a ground engaging surface to remove weight bearing stress from the wearer's waist.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a clip-on pouch to be attached to an article of clothing providing storage and immediate access to small items such as credit cards or spare keys for a home, car, or locker. The clip-on pouch is designed to be comfortable and concealable even when worn on undergarments. One embodiment provides storage for at least one spare key. Another embodiment provides a pouch sized large enough to store at least one credit card and spare key. Various designs for the clip are presented.

Abstract: A backpack provided with a lower compartment holds a waist bag that may encircle the waist of a bearer. A hoisting system comprising a shoulder strap attached to the waist bag allows the bearer to elevate a receiver of the waist bag when the receiver is deployed to the front of the bearer.

Abstract: A tool holder unit for attachment to a user's belt comprising an ergonomically-shaped base; an ergonomically-shaped front section attached at its top end to the ergonomically-shaped base, the ergonomically-shaped front section having means for insertion of at least one of a tool and tool accessories; and means for securing a user's belt between the ergonomically-shaped base and the ergonomically-shaped front section, such that the tool holder unit does not become displaced from the user's belt due to body motion by the user.

Abstract: The subject matter discloses an apparatus, having an envelope and a base for holding a grenade, a rear cover connected to the envelope for attaching said envelope to a vest; a top cover to secure the grenade from above when positioned in a downward position and moving upwards to an upward position; a spring connected to the top cover and to the envelope and a button that causes the top cover to move to the upward position when pressed by the user. The button is located below the top cover and connected only to one of the envelope or the rear cover. The user of the apparatus can release the grenade from the apparatus while pressing the button and the envelope is designed to enable the user to hold the grenade and the grenade lever singlehandedly when pressing the button and when releasing the grenade from the apparatus.

Abstract: Disclosed is a plate-shaped heating panel having connecting members fastened to each other by means of resin. The heating panel comprises upper and lower plates integrally formed to face each other so as to form an inner fluid pathway in which heating water flows, a plurality of connecting members, The holes are filled with a melted plastic resin, and the melted plastic resin is integrated with the connecting members by pressing.

Abstract: A sports ball collection, transport and combination sports goal device is provided, comprising a set of hingedly attached frame members and an internal netted bag attached thereto. The frames are rounded sections of tubular material that are connected at their terminal ends at two hinge devices. The hinges allow the rounded frame sections to be opened and closed with respect to one another, providing access to the internal netting or closure thereof. In an open configuration, the frames provide a structure to hold the netted bag in an open position, wherein balls may easily be placed into the bag. In a closed position, the frame members mate together to form a closed bag and handled device for improved carrying and transport of the device and sports ball contained therein. In an alternate configuration, the frames may be positioned to act as a sports goal for recreational purposes, or to facilitate entry of sports balls within the bag cavity.

Abstract: A wearable case for a mobile device includes a flexible body defining an internal recess and having a front portion with a face aperture to the recess, a back portion with a back aperture to the recess, and a side portion. A wristband extends from the body portion. Another wearable case includes a flexible body, a strap, and a storage member. Yet another wearable case includes a first shell having a series of facets, a second shell having a series of facets, and a chain. Another wearable case includes a first shell having a recessed fitting adjacent to a face aperture for receiving a mobile device, a second shell, and a hinge connecting the first shell to the second shell.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a spare magazine carrier for securing at least one magazine on a user's belt. The carrier includes at least one pocket for receiving the magazine and a pivotal cover atop the pocket for retaining the magazine therein. The cover normally extends over the top of the pocket and prevents withdrawal of the magazine and can be rotated to the side of the pocket to allow withdrawal of the magazine from the pocket. The cover is pivotally attached to the pocket with a frictional hinge in order to prevent inadvertent cover movement and thus inadvertent magazine removal.

Abstract: A combination waist pack is worn comfortably about the waist and unfolds to provide a protective accessory such as a seat cushion, water resistant or insulated barrier to kneel or lay down upon, or other apparel or padded articles providing protection to various parts of a person for use in outdoor sports and recreation. The invention is convertible to a seat or other protective device while unfolded and a warm & protective waistband, hand warmer & padded pack while folded. A user is not required to attach a seat accessory as an addition to the invention nor does he/she have to take up additional space by placing it in a pocket. Therefore, the invention is less bulky even when using thicker materials for padding. The invention is also simpler to utilize than previous inventions. The invention provides seating, padding, & warmth. It is more desirable, more fashionable, more convenient, less noticeable, and more comfortable for sports and leisure.

Abstract: A holder for use on a duty belt comprising a backing portion including a synthetic material coupled to a cover portion including a synthetic material is disclosed. An edging portion at least partially covers an edge of either the backing portion, the cover portion, or both. The backing portion and the cover portion are coupled by stitching, the stitching passing through the backing portion and the cover portion, and the backing portion and the cover portion are substantially flush along a seam at which the backing portion and the cover portion are joined.

Abstract: A bag for the storage and transport of golf equipment includes at least two sections, each including an upper and a lower edge, respectively, where the sections are pivotably interconnected in a hinge, where the bag is openable by folding the sections apart along the hinge, towards an open position in which the interior of the bag is uncovered. At least one section includes a fastening element for golf club shafts in its upper part, in that at least one section includes club head separating element in its lower part for receiving club heads of one or more golf clubs whose shafts are fastened to the fastening element, in that the hinge is arranged along the lower respective edge of each section, and in that the bag includes a support element so that the bag can stand in a stable manner on a supporting surface when in its opened position.

Abstract: A golf ball warming apparatus structured to retain up to six golf balls in a warming pouch with a flip-top closure having a configuration of dual vertical, parallel channels connected, at their respective distal ends, by a U-shaped channel and having a plurality of warming pockets for containing heating elements for warming and re-warming the golf balls, the warming pockets being located immediately adjacent to and in thermal conduction with the warming pouch. Additionally, the walls between the warming pouch and the warming pockets may contain a series of slots to augment the warming and re-warming of the golf balls.

Abstract: A pocket comprises an inner cup cooperating in a nested relationship with an outer cup to define a chamber having a closed bottom end and an open upper end sized to receive an article. A hinge interconnects the inner and outer cups at the closed bottom end of the chamber. The hinge is configured to accommodate swinging movement of the outer cup relative to the inner cup between a closed position at which the sides of the article received in the chamber are tightly confined between opposite interior surfaces of the inner and outer cups, and a release position deflected outwardly from the closed position to accommodate removal of the article from the chamber via its open upper end.

Abstract: A hook-like carrier adapted for attachment to and support by the belt of a user includes an attachment member having a pair of generally vertical, spaced slots which are adapted to receive the user's belt. Attached to an outer portion of the attachment member is a first element of a foldable hook. The first hook element is pivotally coupled to a second hook element such as by a first hinge and the second hook element is, in turn, pivotally coupled to a third hook element, such as by a second hinge. The hook elements are pivotally movable between a first folded configuration, such as when not in use, and a second extended configuration for engaging and supporting an article and maintaining the article securely in position in closely spaced relation to the user's waist.

Abstract: A system for carrying and rapidly accessing implements carried on a belt, especially implements used by law enforcement officers. The system uses a hinged floor carried on a flatplate having a belt loop. The hinged floor is held perpendicular to the flat plate by a strap or cover having a quick-release latch at the top. When the strap or cover is released the floor drops to form an angle with the flat plate, allowing the user to quickly remove the implement using one hand.

Abstract: A utility belt assembly for use with electronic devices such as electronic game devices, cellular telephones, and digital cameras has one principal pouch or container, and may have several smaller ones for cellular telephones, and other electronic related devices. The principal container has a large pocket into which a game electronic device or other device may be stored while not in use. A folding unit extends out from the principle container and has a plurality of storage pouches or pockets into which may be placed, for example memory devices, game cartridges, and batteries. The folding unit is attached to the bottom of the principal pouch and will fold back upon itself and the front of the principal pouch. A cover attached to the top back of the principal pouch, when closed, encloses the principal pouch and the folding unit.

Abstract: A pocket sized memo pad holder construction 10 adapted to be selectively attached to a key ring 50 or a user's belt 60 wherein, the construction 10 includes a generally rigid housing member 20 having a curved upper housing segment 24 provided with a holder element 27 for a writing implement 200 and hingedly connected to a lower housing segment 21 provided with a catch element 28 that is connected to a clip member 30 that may selectively receive the key ring 50 or the user's belt.

Abstract: A clamping apparatus comprises a base plate and integral thereto, a fixed clamping jaw and a pivotal support. A movable clamping jaw opposes the fixed clamping jaw and is pivotally engaged with the pivotal support, thereby being rotatable between an open jaw attitude and a closed jaw attitude. A motion inhibitor prevents a workpiece from pressing against the movable clamping jaw. An actuation lever enables moving the movable clamping jaw from the closed jaw attitude to the open jaw attitude and an actuation finger is positioned for receiving contact with the workpiece for moving the movable clamping jaw from the open jaw attitude to the closed jaw attitude. A bias spring is engaged with the movable clamping jaw and enabled for inhibiting motion of the movable clamping jaw from both the open and closed jaw attitudes.

Abstract: Police officers have had many improvements in their equipment in recent years, except in one constant area. They often struggle with the removal of equipment from their utility belts and are unable to put the items into action quickly and easily. This invention relates generally to easy, quick access to the items held on a police officer's belt. This is especially common to non-lethal weapons and ammo clips, but not limited to these in any way. From this point on the term “officer” will refer to a police officer.

Abstract: An apparatus comprises a base plate having features enabling mounting on a person's belt or pocket. A cradling device is adapted for receiving a hand tool and for clamping the hand tool A biasing device is adapted for moving the tool clamping device between a tool receiving position and a tool clamping position so as to make the tool available for use and to place the tool within reach when it is needed respectively. When the tool is removed from the clamping device the it is automatically unclamped. When the tool is placed into the clamping device it is automatically clamped in place.

Abstract: A container for holding an orthodontic retainer. The container comprises a front wall, an opposing back wall, a pair of opposing side walls, a bottom wall and a lid to define a cavity capable of holding an orthodontic retainer. The lid is hingedly attached to the back wall so the lid is not also easily lost. In a first preferred embodiment, a string is connected to the container that allows the user to hang the container from his neck. In a second preferred embodiment, a clip is formed in the back wall so that the user can attach the container to his clothing, much like an electronic pager.

Abstract: A back chest that is suitable for carrying food, beverages and other outdoor items on an individuals back. The back chest comprises a rigid base support structure which has a rectangular type configuration. The back support structure forms an upper section which contains a flexible, top utility pocket and a lower section attached to an ice cooler having a rectangular box-type configuration. The ice cooler has a lid that is hingably attached to the top of said cooler. In cross section, the upper section of the back support structure and the top lid of the ice chest from an L-shaped support base in cross section which supports outdoor items that can be transported on said back chest. Tie down straps can conveniently be used to keep the outdoor items in place. A plurality of flexible utility pockets are attached to the front and sides of the ice chest. The base support structure contains a pair of shoulder straps and a belt strap.

Abstract: An apparatus comprises a base plate having features enabling mounting on a person's belt or pocket. A cradling device is adapted for receiving a hand tool and for clamping the hand tool A biasing device is adapted for moving the tool clamping device between a tool receiving position and a tool clamping position so as to make the tool available for use and to place the tool within reach when it is needed respectively. When the tool is removed from the clamping device the it is automatically unclamped. When the tool is placed into the clamping device it is automatically clamped in place.

Abstract: The present invention provides a portable storage enclosure which can be used as a seat. The device includes a storage enclosure defining a storage cavity, and an access opening thereto. A door is mounted on the storage enclosure. The door is movable from a position at which it covers the access opening to a position at which it permits access to the storage cavity. A belt is attached to the storage enclosure. The belt is adjustable from a first position at which the belt can be secured about a wearer's waist to a second position at which the belt can be secured around a generally vertical support, such as a tree or utility pole. The apparatus of the present invention is designed so that the wearer can remove the storage enclosure from the wearer's waist, attach the storage enclosure to the generally vertical support by the belt, and use the storage enclosure as a seat.

Abstract: A portable case for belongings comprises a case body of leather and a cover lid of metal to protect the belongings within the case body. The case body and protective cover lid are hinged together and are disengageable from each other at the hinge so that both case body itself and the cover lid can be replaced with new ones. The case can be used as a carrier for a cigarette lighter or a portable telephone, as a waist bag for miscellaneous articles, as a hand or shoulder bag, as a rucksack, as one of a pair of panniers, and as a tool carrier for a two-wheeled vehicle. A protective cloth bag may be provided on the cover lid, and the cover lid may also be provided with an external key carrier.

Abstract: A carrying case for portable electronic equipment is provided which is designed to allow a case carrier to stop an alarm or call sound produced from the electronic equipment without opening the carrying case. The carrying case has a protrusion formed on an inner wall of a cover at a given interval away from an operating button on the electronic equipment disposed within the carrying case. The cover is supported elastically by a case body with a given gap between front edges of the cover and the case body. The depression of the operating button of the electronic equipment through the protrusion to stop the alarm or call sound is achieved by pressing one of the cover and the case body against the other to decrease the gap therebetween.

Abstract: A spill and splash resistant safety paint bucket for supporting and transporting paints or other liquids is disclosed. The safety paint bucket includes a container for supporting the paint or other liquid and a self-closing lid constructed to be removably attached to the container. The container includes a belt clip attachment and shoulder strap attachment buttons so that the safety paint bucket can be attached to a belt or harness, or carried on an attached strap by an individual while maintaining both hands free to perform other tasks. The lid includes a fixed partition, a spring loaded flap, and a spring. When a brush or other applicator is inserted into the container through the top of the lid, the downward pressure applied to the brush or other applicator compresses the spring which allows the spring loaded flap to pivot away from the fixed partition. The opening thus created allows the brush or other applicator to reach the liquid contained below.

Abstract: A men's purse is disclosed which is typically carried on a waist belt along the leg of the carrier. The men's purse includes a rear oblong compartment and a slim front compartment. The rear compartment has a zipped top opening for gaining access therein and the slim front compartment is formed by a flap which is zippered to the rear compartment. If the flap zipper is opened, the flap may be swung open to gain access to contents stored within the slim compartment.

Abstract: A protective carrying case for a video camera has peripheral side walls and a bottom wall defining a camera-receiving receptacle with an open top through which a camera can be inserted and removed. The case is provided with a top cover that is arranged to normally close the open top of the camera-receiving receptacle, and a side wall of the receptacle is preferably provided with a door-opening that is normally closed by a door for enabling a person carrying the encased camera to slip a hand into the receptacle when the door is partially or fully open for operating the camera, either without removing it from the case and its receiving receptacle or for removing the camera free and clear of the case and its receiving receptacle.

Abstract: A unique article case and clip cooperatively associated therewith wherein the clip is preferably integrally formed with the case or comparable base member, and includes confronting major and minor tongues whereby the clip may be associated as desired with varying supports. The clip may also be employed apart from a case or carrier in a wide variety of environments.

Abstract: A belt case for a pair of eyeglasses is formed from a rigid and durable plastic for protecting the eyeglasses from damage. The case consists of front and rear rigid body sections which are receivable in interfitting engagement so that they cooperate to define an interior eyeglass compartment. The compartment is operative for retaining a pair of eyeglasses as well as a spare lens for the eyeglasses, and is further operative for individually retaining either the eyeglasses or the spare lens. The case is adapted to be mounted vertically on a wearer's belt and hingeably opened at the top end thereof to remove the eyeglasses and the spare lens. Both the spare lens and the eyeglasses are firmly retained in the case so that the lenses do not contact any interior surfaces of the case. The case also firmly retains the spare lens and eyeglasses so that they are not easily dislodged when the case is subjected to physical impacts.

Abstract: A magazine apparatus for support about an individual's torso is provided to include an upper collar and lower collar in a spaced parallel relationship mounting a row of magazine tubes in a parallel relationship relative to one another orthogonally aligned relative to the upper and lower collars. The magazine tube is defined at an arcuate intersection of an upper and lower leg of each magazine tube, with the magazine tube including a transparent cap mounted to an upper end of each tube and a removable door plate formed with a spring hinged, or alternatively a slide plate permitting presentation of a paint ball member to be directed through each magazine tube.

Abstract: A knife and sheath combination in which the sheath may be attached in and inverted position on a harness strap such as a shoulder holster or backpack strap by screws and the knife held in the sheath with a quick release. The sheath may also be attached to clothing by use of VELCRO and may also have a safety strap to keep the knife in the sheath, along with a striker affixed to the sheath.

Abstract: A multi-compartment receptacle for packaging and storing a plurality of pairs of protective gloves to be carried by a single person whereby each pair of gloves may be distributed to one of several persons on a rescue team, hospital crew, or like persons, the receptacle comprising a web of foldable flexible material which in extended condition includes a closure flap, a series of hinge areas, a series of compartments, first and second securing members, and a carrying member.

Abstract: A portable ticket issuing system comprises a portable electric ticket issuing machine including a keyboard and electric power means for supplying power to the ticket issuing machine, in which the power means comprises a battery unit having a battery casing separate from the ticket issuing machine casing, and including a flexible cable means for electrically connecting the battery and ticket issuing machine, and including a belt support means for mounting the battery and its casing on an operator away from his front and without the operator holding it manually and further support means for mounting the ticket issuing machine on the operator away from his front in a non-operating position where it is located at the operator's side resting on his thigh and so that it allows the ticket issuing machine to be readily moved to an operating position in front of the operator without moving the battery unit and preferably without detaching it from the belt.

Abstract: An article of sportsman's equipment for use by sportsmen engaged in endurance oriented activities such as marathons, etc., is provided in which a plurality, generally from four to eight pouches for nutrients are provided on a belt. The belt and pouches are made of flexible sheet material having a weight of not more than 7.5 ounces/sq.yd. and preferably from about 1.75 to about 6.0 ounces/sq.yd.

Abstract: A portable receptacle is useful for carrying prophylactic packages. The receptacle is comprised of a generally oval shaped casing closed on one end. Margins of the package are folded over and the package is inserted into the receptacle. The package margins tend to return to their unfolded attitude, thereby exerting force on the casing walls. The package restoring force frictionally resists unintentional removal of the package. One casing wall is formed with a large cutout for facilitating package identification and removal. A cover is pivotable on the casing between the closed position overlying the casing cutout wall and open end, and an open position exposing the package and uncovering the casing open end.

Abstract: A medical supply case for organizing and holding various small medical supplies and to be worn and/or carried by medical personnel. A first panel is provided having a first panel front side, a first panel rear side, and a front side supply pocket. A second panel is connected to the first panel and has a second panel front side, and a second panel rear side, a rear side supply pocket. A hinge connects the sides of the first and second panels for positioning the first and second panels relative to each other in a first position wherein the first panel front side is generally adjacent and facing the second panel front side and alternately in a second position wherein the second panel rear side is generally adjacent and facing the first panel rear side. A first securing device releasably secures the first and second panels in the first position, and a second securing device releasably secures the first and second panels in the second position.

Abstract: An implement holder for a claw hammer having an elongated handle and a claw and head member carried by and projecting generally from one end of the handle, comprising a waist belt, a support pad carried by the waist belt, and a cradle-like collar defining a tool storage opening for receiving the tool including a partial loop and a hinged gate. The hinged gate has two angularly-spaced elongated elements pivotally supported on the partial loop approximately at the junction of the two elements. The collar is fixed to and projects from the pad with the tool storage opening being accessible for storing a tool by a first pivoting movement of the gate in response to a gate opening force applied by the tool to one of the elements and with the tool being removed from the tool storage opening by a second pivoting movement of the gate which is a reversal of the first pivoting movement in response to a force applied by the tool to the second element.

Abstract: A shotgun shell case including a box-like receptacle having a horizontal bottom wall, vertical side walls and a plurality of individual cylindrical shell receiving pockets depending from the bottom wall which have shelf engaging projections for holding shells inserted therein firmly in place. The case further includes a hinged cover and means to attach the case to the belt of a user.

Abstract: A holster for a handgun comprises a case for receiving the handgun and a flap member mounted on the case. The flap member provides a cover member for the handgun having an offset hinge associated therewith. The offset hinge comprises a pair of spaced apart arms extending from the cover member and pivotally mounted to the case to provide for swinging movement of the cover through a path clear of the case between open and closed positions. In the open position the cover member is clear of the top of the case and at an over-center position relative to the axis of pivot so as to be maintained thereat. Snap fasteners, separate from the offset hinge, secure the cover to the case in the closed position to assure a maximum degree of safety, security and protection to the holstered handgun.

Abstract: A training device for competitive swimmers which can be adjustably mounted on a swimmer's body part and, in operational use, provides predetermined resistances of varying degrees to the swimmer's normal movements, causing him to exert greater effort, the resistances being generated by weights selectively and removably mounted within the device. Exploitation is made of the muscle as a sensory organ in generating a heightened awareness of muscle or tendon or joint movement.

Abstract: Carrier apparatus for a packhorse includes a pair of cabinets, each constructed of a rigid, unitary shell of upwardly convergent configuration having a door forming an inclined front panel portion also serving as a table in open position and removable, internal shelf separations for carrying items of various sizes. Each cabinet is contoured on the rear or inner side thereof to generally conform to the sides of the packhorse. Nylon straps or mounting frames suspend the cabinets on each side of the horse in a balanced arrangement from a pair of cross bucks. Further, each cabinet has a flat, rigid base, a flat, horizontal top surface, and substantially vertical rear side extending downwardly from an upper concave surface forming a part of the shell so that when the cabinets are removed from the horse they can be placed back-to-back on the ground with no other support such that the combination of the top surfaces provides an additional enlarged flat working surface or table top.
