Abstract: An aviation clamp device formed of a substantially rigid elongated jaw structure formed with an open throat portion formed between spaced apart and relatively angularly canted opposing drive and anvil plates and a backing plate and having an elongated mouth opening thereinto between the opposing drive and anvil plates and partially extending around peripheries thereof to the backing plate, the drive plate being formed with a pair of threaded apertures therethrough spaced adjacent to opposite ends thereof, and a ball-end coupler formed of a resiliently deformable part-spherical head projected from one of the drive and anvil plates on a substantially rigid reduced diameter stem relatively upstanding thereon; and a plurality of threaded thumb screws each structured for cooperating with one of the threaded apertures by threading therethrough from an external surface of the elongated jaw structure into the throat portion thereof.

Abstract: A body-mounted holder apparatus includes a rack member which includes bottom rack portions, riser rack portions extending upward from the bottom rack portions, and top rack portions supported by the riser rack portions. Strap members are connected to the bottom rack portions for securing the rack member to a user. A clamp assembly is connected to the top rack portions for holding a game call device. The strap members are used to encircle a portion of the user's body, e.g. a user's thigh, for securing the rack member to a user's body, leaving a free hand for carrying a weapon. The riser rack portions prevent a call device that is being supported by the apparatus from contacting the user and having its sound muffled thereby. Preferably, the strap members include first hook-or-loop connectors and complementary second hook-or-loop connectors.

Abstract: A vehicle mounted ladder rack (10), bent in such a way as to allow secure stowage yet easy removal of a ladder. Fixed mounting clamps (22) are welded on the underside of rack (10). The fixed clamps (22) and lower clamps (20) are drilled (18) to allow the bolts (14) to pass through. The bolts (14) are then secured with nuts (16). Tightening of these nuts compresses lower clamps (20) into the bottom of a standard vehicle luggage rack. This secures the ladder rack (10) in place atop the vehicle. A set of two racks (10) is required to securely hold a ladder on the vehicle, one mounted on the forward luggage rack and one on the rear.

Abstract: A shopping list organizer includes a rigid substantially planar member sized to support a shopping list when the shopping list is mounted thereon. A clamp is provided for releasably mounting the shopping list on a first surface of the planar member. Magnets are mounted on a second side of the planar member, opposite the first side, for releasably mounting the planar member on a flat substrate. At least one clip is hingedly mounted to the second side of the planar member for rotation about the hinge between a closed position substantially flush against the second side of the planar member and an open position substantially orthogonal to the second side of the planar member. In the open position, the clip is disposed for releasably mounting onto an elongate handle.

Abstract: The specification and drawings describe and show the present invention in the form of a tray designed to accommodate the snug installation of an associated or desired cooler. The tray is further designed to be installed on the steering column of a vehicle, such as a golf cart vehicle. Optionally, the upstanding side walls and front wall of the tray portion can have drink holders.

Abstract: A bicycle rack includes two tubes each have a support bar at a first end thereof for supporting bicycles thereon and a positioning member is connected to an inside of a second end of each of the first and second tubes. The extension part from a vehicle is clamped between the two positioning members and a sphere is connected to the extension part. A retaining member is connected between the first and second tubes and includes a collar so as to embrace the sphere. A ring is connected to a first tube and a holding member is pivotably connected to the second tube, the holding member includes a hook portion which is disengageably hooked by the ring. The contact area of the bicycle rack and the extension part and the sphere is large enough to reduce shaking during transportation.

Abstract: An adjustable frame, mountable on a vehicle, for releasably securing hand trucks of different sizes and configurations includes: a support platform for receiving a base of a hand truck; a first and a second side member affixed to the platform; a first bracket and a second bracket attached to the first and second side members, respectively, the brackets extending in parallel therewith; an elongate swing bar pivotally connected to the first bracket and pivotal between a first position that retains the hand truck on the platform, and a second position, which allows access and removal of the hand truck from the platform; and a latch mounted on the swing bar. The second bracket may include a strike that engages the latch for releasably securing the swing bar in the first position. Cushioned crossbars attachable to the side members dampen vibration of the hand truck during transportation.

Abstract: An apparatus for the transport of a propane tank for filling includes a clamp assembly that is adapted for attachment to a portion of a sidewall of a pickup truck. A removable assembly is detachably-attachable with respect to the clamp assembly. The removable assembly includes a pivoting plate that is adapted to receive a bottom of a propane tank thereon, and a band assembly that is adapted to secure an upper portion of the propane tank. The pivoting plate is adapted to pivot upward for storage and the band assembly is adapted to pivot downward for storage.

Abstract: A long gun carrying system for all terrain vehicles that incorporates a support structure that will mount on a rear deck or rack on an ATV and that will support a channel member to receive a soft gun case. The soft gun case is attached to the channel member and the soft gun case may be removed with a gun inside, from the channel member. Alternatively, the long gun is easily removed from the soft gun case, while leaving the gun case in position on the ATV.

Abstract: A support device for attaching objects to vehicles includes two or more plates received in a housing, and guided to move radially in and out of the housing, and a moving device to move the plates radially in and out of the housing, and to detachably secure the housing to the vehicles, such as to the cup holders of the vehicles. A bolt is rotatably attached to the housing, a follower is threaded to the bolt and has one or more inclined channels, the plates each has an inclined board sildably received in the inclined channels of the follower, to guide the plates to move radially in and out of the housing when the bolt is rotated relative to the follower.

Abstract: An apparatus for holding a gun or a bow securely to an all terrain vehicle. The apparatus has one or more adjustable support arms each having a quick release and lock mechanism. The support arms serve as a way to allow the gun or bow to fit closely to the contour of the vehicle.

Abstract: An adjustable frame, mountable on a vehicle, for releasably securing hand trucks of different sizes and configurations includes: a support platform for receiving a base of a hand truck; a first and a second side member affixed to the platform; a first bracket and a second bracket attached to the first and second side members, respectively, the brackets extending in parallel therewith; an elongate swing bar pivotally connected to the first bracket and pivotal between a first position that retains the hand truck on the platform, and a second position, which allows access and removal of the hand truck from the platform; and a latch mounted on the swing bar. The second bracket may include a strike that engages the latch for releasably securing the swing bar in the first position. Cushioned crossbars attachable to the side members dampen vibration of the hand truck during transportation.

The base has at least one slot capable of engaging a portion of the storage panel and retaining the storage panel in a vertical position. The storage panel may be removable mounted within the motor vehicle storage apparatus or stored outside the storage apparatus. The storage panel has at least one attachment location for attaching articles thereon.

Abstract: A carrier comprised of a holding member and an article support member. The holding member includes a tubing with a plurality of grooves lengthwise down the tubing. The article support member is coupled to the holding member. The article support member includes a tray and a collar. The collar engages and interlocks with orientation grooves associated with the holding member. The collar enables the tray to be rotatably adjusted with a slope in accordance with a selected angular orientation of the plurality of angular orientations without the presence of an article in the tray.

Abstract: A carrying tray assembly for the rear of a sport utility vehicle. The assembly is suspended from sections of the sports bar arrangement and permits easy access to any items on the tray of the assembly. The assembly also permits other gear to be placed below the tray on the floor of the rear deck of the vehicle and covered with a tonneau if desired to protect the gear from the elements. The assembly has front and rear supporting systems that are adjustable to fit a variety of sport bar designs. Additionally, because the tray is suspended from sections of the sports bar arrangement rearwardly of the driver's and front passenger's seats, traditional half tops and windscreens can also be used on the vehicle at the same time as the carrying tray assembly.

The adjustable linkage allows the gun case carrier to be rotated to a variety of angles relative to the plate. A lock holds the gun case carrier at the desired angle.

Abstract: An article holder particularly for use with all-terrain vehicles and comprising bifurcated arms, with or without fins or other holding structures extending between the arms and a cushioning web between the arms at the junction of the arms to provide a cushion for an article to be held between the arms and to close the arms against an inserted article when the cushioning means is depressed and including a mounting base projecting from the junction of the arms and hooks on the outer sides of the arms to accommodate a resilient strap to be hooked over an inserted article.

At least one of the pair of body members has a receiver configured to accept the installation of a fitting member therein. A plurality of resilient fitting members are utilized. Each fitting member is adapted to be installed in the receiver in a plurality of orientations. At least one of the fitting members is configured to present a variable buffering thickness between the rigid body member and a receiving member of a carrying vehicle upon which the securement arrangement shall be installed. The variable buffering thickness is dependent upon an installed orientation of the fitting member in the receiver.

Abstract: A load carrier foot adapted for releasable securement upon an edge portion of a vehicle roof. The load carrier foot includes a support member for abutment against a vehicle roof. A clamping member is coupled to the support member by a retainer member and the clamping member is operable between a clamping configuration and a released configuration upon an edge portion of a vehicle roof. The clamping member has a first connection piece and the retainer member has a second connection piece for interconnecting the clamping member and the retainer member. One of the connection pieces forms an insertion space and the other of the connection pieces forms an insertion member for insertion into the insertion space. A latching device releasably latches the insertion member within the insertion space for facilitating the installation of different clamping members into the load carrier foot.

Instead of bars, clamps are used to connect the brackets to the rails.

Abstract: An accessory type carrier rack extension adapted for easy attachment to existing tubular racks generally provided on all terrain vehicles. The rack is provided in a variety of models to mate with and compliment existing tubular carrier racks and may be provided with flattened expanded metal panels that may be slotted at assembly to fit around any protrusions on the existing carrier rack that may exist but are unaccounted for by the manufacturer. The accessory carrier rack includes a tubular base frame fabricated from bent tubular members and various truss members. Some of the truss members are positioned parallel to the bent tubular members and/or parallel to adjacent truss members in a manner that defines elongated slots for adjustable positioning of the accessory carrier rack relative to an existing carrier racks generally found on ATVs.

Abstract: A gun rack for nondestructive use in any of a variety of vehicle models generally comprises two substantially L-shaped vehicle engagement members and a cross bar disposed therebetween. The cross bar comprises at least one trough adapted to support the stock portion of a gun. The L-shaped members are adapted to flexibly engage opposite side portions of a vehicle center console. Padding is provided for protection of the vehicle and supported gun. The cross member may be adjustable in length to facilitate use with a wider variety of console styles. In this case, adjustment of the length of the cross member effects the relative spacing between the two L-shaped members. The adjustable cross member may comprise a turnbuckle, which may have a locking device adapted to selectively fix the length of the cross member and, thus, the width of the gun rack.

The clamping member is configured to clamp to at least two different styles of crossbars to prevent relative movement between the load-carrying member and the crossbar. Optionally, the clamping member may be configured to snap onto the crossbar.

In order to be able to use the holder universally, the fastening device (12) is in the form of a three-point fastening having three fastening feet which are attached to the fastening device (12) at the corners of a notional triangle. To enable the fastening feet to pivot in any direction, the fastening device (12) has a multi-directional pivot bearing for each fastening foot.

Abstract: The present invention is an apparatus for securing rifles, archery bows and other camping accessories to the cargo rack of an all terrain vehicle for transport. The apparatus consists of two support brackets which have a bracket pad of resilient material affixed in an opening in the brackets, a support structure for the support brackets and a means for securing the support structure to the cargo rack tubes of the all terrain vehicle. The support structure is comprised of two vertical support bars which are attached on the bottom to a horizontal bottom cross bar which is secured to the cargo rack. A horizontal top cross bar also connects the two support bars and provides added stability to the support bars. A stiffener plate which connects the bottom cross bar and the top cross bar can also be used to further enhance the stability of the support bars.

Abstract: A weaponry holder for an all terrain vehicle includes a planar, rectangular attachment plate having stabilizing bars perpendicularly extending from each comer thereof. The distal ends of each stabilizing bar are outwardly flared allowing a weaponry case to be wedged therebetween. Each of two opposing edges of the attachment plate include one or more loops with a loop on a first side having a strap permanently attached thereto. The opposing end of the strap is removably attachable to the opposing loop to further secure the weaponry case between the stabilizing bars. The plate further includes a securing means for further securing the plate to a cargo rack.

The angular stem is adjustable relative to the constraining bar. Also, the coil spring allows the bottle holder to swivel around the cylinder so that when the bottle is in use, it may easily be held with the nipple at a downward angle and when not in use, it automatically positions the nipple at an upward angle.

Abstract: An L-shaped support has a rearwardly extending tubular arm formed of a thin-walled tube. The end of vertical leg of the support is cold formed into a U-shaped, double-walled channel which fits between the sides of a brace which is rigidly mounted to the trailer hitch of a vehicle. A plastic bracket has a split ring clamp which fits over the rearwardly extending arm of the support. The entire bracket may pivot about the axis defined by the arm. An alternative embodiment attachment device for restraining a bicycle tube on a horizontally extending carrier arm is formed as a single molded part of thermoplastic rubber. The attachment device has a strap with an array of two rows of holes which engage with a square array of four mushroom-head type fasteners to attach the end of the strap to the attachment devices.

Abstract: A support rack for use on a watercraft to hold several scuba gear and other equipment such as dive tanks, lights, radar, spear guns and a dive flag, the rack including oppositely disposed base members and a bridge structure including opposite vertical portions each attached to and extending upward from a corresponding one of the base members, and a horizontally extending portion integral with upper end zones of the vertical portions. The opposite base members removably mount to the watercraft to support the bridge structure above the stern or gunwale. Mounting structures are provided on the base members and bridge structure for holding the gear on the rack.

An elongated closable pouch having one or more strong clamps attached in alignment along the length of the pouch. The pouch includes two elongated panels which are mirror-images of each other attached together along their perimeters, except at the top where a zipper or Velcro.RTM. is provided. The pouch is designed such that the clamp(s) may be attached to a side of the vertical portion of an automobile driver seat. The strong clamps hold the pouch containing the automobile theft deterrent device securely in place so that it is out of the way of passengers, and less likely to cause injury in the event of an accident. Optional extenders may be provided on the clamps to more firmly secure them to the seat.

Abstract: A device for mounting to the rear rack of an ATV for holding a gun or bow for transport includes a horizontal anchoring member attached the device to the rear rack of an ATV by U-bolts. A corner brace is welded to one end of the anchoring member. The corner brace is provided with a pair of threaded mounting pins which are used to hold a scabbard-type gun boot or a bow adapter for holding a bow. The scabbard or bow is held in place, when mounted on the pins, by threading and tightening a mounting knob on each pin. A bow adapter is made up of a main support member mounted on the mounting pins and secured by the mounting knobs. The support member is provided with a U-shaped bracket and a C-shaped bracket for frictionally holding a bow. A dual mount adapter may be used to mount an additional gun boot or bow adapter. This dual mount adapter includes a mounting plate engaging the mounting pins and secured along with a first scabbard or bow adapter by the mounting knobs.

Abstract: The preferred towing extension mirror apparatus includes a support strap, an extension mirror coupled with one end thereof, and coupling assemblies for coupling the strap with the side mirror assembly of the vehicle adjacent the rear side of the side mirror housing. One coupling assembly couples the strap with the side mirror housing on the outboard side of the side mirror, and the other coupling assembly couples with a support rod extending from the vehicle adjacent the inboard side of the side mirror housing.

Abstract: An adjustable cargo carrier consisting of a plurality of devices which attach to manufacturer-installed frame racks of all-terrain vehicles. Constructed of tubular metal, the cargo carrier has a main tube body which attaches to the all-terrain vehicle by bolting a flat metal adapter plate to a mounting plate which is welded to the main tube body. An upper holding arm, which slides into the upper end of the main tube body, pivots laterally and can extend vertically. The main tube body inserts into a lower arm mount tube which is welded to the lower holding arm. The lower holding arm pivots laterally. The upper holding arm and lower holding arm, which are tightened through the use of locking knob bolts, are both encased in padded protective sleeves.

Abstract: A rack for storing one or more pairs of water skis and wake boards including one or more pairs of forks having parallel prongs extending from and coplanar with a base plate section. The pairs of forks are mounted on a support bar extending through an opening in the base plate section and may be positioned axially along and orientationally around the bar then clamped in the selected position such that each fork is aligned with its pair member. Each pair of forks preferably has three prongs for stowing one pair of skis or two prongs for storing a wakeboard. A strap is provided for each neighboring pair of each fork having one end attached to an end of one of said neighboring pair of prongs and another end hookable to an end of the neighboring prong so that the strap may be stretched over a water ski or wakeboard nested between neighboring prongs thereby securing a pair of skis or wakeboards.
