Abstract: A combination exteriorly worn holster and an illuminator packaged together for retail sale, the combination providing a simple exteriorly worn holster solution for handguns with an attached accessory that is wearable either on the right or left side, with a reliable passive retention, and with a universal fit for a very large segment of the semi-automatic handguns with accessory rails. The accessory removed from the packaging instantly snaps onto the handgun's rail without utilizing threaded fasteners such that the handgun and accessory is readily received by the holster and the accessory provides the entirety of the engagement between the handgun and accessory combination and the holster. The holster's passive retention comprising a polymer spring unitary with the holster body, wherein the holster body conformingly and snugly engages and grips the accessory as it is holstered retaining the handgun in position by the illuminator.

Abstract: A fishing garment system can include a fabric garment having a pocket with an opening. A gimbal plate is disposed within the pocket of the fabric garment such that the gimbal plate is positioned for supporting a fishing rod. The gimbal plate is removable from the pocket of the fabric garment through the opening of the pocket. The fishing garment system can also include a belt with features for supporting a fishing rod.

Abstract: A wearable device includes first and second electronic modules, a connection module configured to electrically connect the first electronic module to the second electronic module, and a length adjusting module of which length is adjustable to bring the connection module in contact with a user. The length adjusting module comprises first and second fastening units configured to be assembled and disassembled and configured to be locked together in a fastened position when assembled. When the first and second fastening units are assembled, the first fastening unit is electrically connected to the second fastening unit and a length of the length adjusting module is adjusted.

Abstract: A tool holder includes a foldable plastic sheet being folded and configured to include a hanging end and a holding end. The hanging end and the holding end integrally form a one piece structure. The holding end having a first edge, a second edge, a first lateral edge, and a second lateral edge, with the first and second edges and the first and second lateral edges delimiting a circumferential periphery of a receiving space in which the first and second edges are opposite each other and the first and second lateral edges are opposite each other and respectively extend from two lateral sides of the first edge to two lateral sides of the second edge. A joint edge is distal the first lateral edge extending therefrom and adhered to the second lateral edge.

Abstract: A bag combination is disclosed. The bag combination comprises a first bag, a second bag and a slider. The first bag has a first strip of fabric tape carrying teeth. The first strip is attached to the front of the first bag. The first strip of fabric tape forms a first, second and third side. The second bag has a second strip of fabric tape carrying teeth attached to the outside rear edge of the second bag. The second strip of fabric tape is complementary to the first strip of fabric tape. The second strip of fabric tape also forms a first, second and third side. The slider is attached to either the first strip of fabric tape or second strip of fabric tape. The slider is configured to connect the first, second and third sides of the first strip of fabric tape to the first, second and third sides of the second strip of fabric tape. A method of using a bag combination is also disclosed.

Abstract: A convertible carrying case having a first container and a second container that is convertible between a primary configuration and a secondary configuration. Each container having a primary face (with primary access structure for accessing the interior of the container when the convertible carrying case is in the primary configuration) and a secondary face (with secondary access structure for accessing the interior of the container when the convertible carrying case is in the secondary configuration). A first matable half and a second matable half of an openable-closeable connection are connectable to secure the containers in either a primary configuration or a secondary configuration. Preferably, contents within the containers may remain during conversion between the primary configuration and the secondary configuration. A method for converting a convertible carrying between the primary configuration and the secondary configuration.

The groove, slide member and latch device releasably mount the cowling member to the frame member.

Abstract: This is holster that uses interchangeable inserts mounted to a chassis. These different interchangeable inserts are molded to the specific firearm model or device that will be carried to achieve maximum fit, security and ease of use. The inserts have a standardized mounting and are attached to a base chassis that also has a standardized mounting to allow the user to obtain maximum flexibility by easily converting the holster to carry a diverse array of pistol models, tools, or other devices.

Abstract: Dual-strap carrying assemblies and devices including such assemblies are provided herein. The carrying devices may be embodied in dual carrying strap golf bags that allow the bearer to more easily don and remove the bag. The secondary strap of the dual strap assembly is connected to the primary strap by a movable engagement assembly, such as an assembly that rotates to allow the secondary strap to more easily become within the reach of the bearer of the bag. In some embodiments, the movable engagement assembly may include a movement limiting device that prevents the secondary strap from moving too far out of the bearer's reach. The strap assemblies may be used in combination with a flexible base stand to make a self-standing carrying device that is easy to don and doff.

Hip torque generators extend between the exoskeleton trunk and respective leg supports. A load holding mechanism is rotatably coupled to the exoskeleton trunk, preferably via over-shoulder members configured to support a load in front of the person. In use, hip torque generators create torque between the exoskeleton trunk and respective leg supports in the stance phase, wherein at least one torque generator is configured to create a first torque between the exoskeleton trunk and one of the first and second leg supports in the stance phase opposing a second torque generated on the exoskeleton by a weight of the load. Load bearing sensors may be utilized to determine the torque generated by the load and communicate with a controller to control power to the torque generators.

Abstract: Luggage, such as suitcases and backpacks, converts into personal flotation devices by incorporating flotation elements into their structure. Backpacks can also be converted to rescue harnesses by the incorporation of a reinforcing strap and rescue ring. Significantly, such multi-purpose items of luggage offer users access to safety devices unavailable to users of ordinary luggage, enabling such users to have access to lifesaving equipment without requiring the user to carry a dedicated PFD or rescue harness. In one embodiment a backpack includes an emergency lower opening that can be used to remove heavy items while the user is still wearing the backpack, to increase the buoyancy of the survival backpack by eliminating ballast. In another embodiment, a backpack includes a peripheral zipper that separates the backpack into first and second portions, one portion to be worn over the chest and the other portion to be worn over the back.

Abstract: A flexible shipping bag, which after use for shipping an item in commerce, can be turned inside out and transformed into a re-usable backpack with an open top. The flexible shipping bag includes sealing flaps configured to enable opening the flexible shipping bag by cutting off a portion of the sealing-flap. The sealing-flaps fold into the flexible shipping bag when the flexible shipping bag is turned inside out revealing backpack flaps each configured to define a draw-string tube-like passage therethrough. The flexible shipping bag includes a drawstring and a tab extending from an inside edge of the shipping bag, preferably near the bottom, and configured to secure the drawstring. The inside of the shipping bag may also include a separate pouch. The top of the pouch may include means to close the pouch.

Other embodiments or modifications include non-elastic sides, tethering of the pouch to user's belt, a web belt with a pouch sewn as an integrated piece, one vinyl window, or open windows and may be imagined for other small device use for security or otherwise. Embodiments may include use for a warning device for sight-impaired persons, with readings felt as well as partially seen. Other embodiments might also be imagined by one schooled in the art.

A belt article holder includes a belt strap adapted to be wrapped about the person's waist. A second securing arrangement secures together opposite ends of the belt strap about the person's waist, and a neck wrap/brace holder on the strap holds the neck wrap/brace when the neck wrap/brace is not wrapped about the person's neck.

Abstract: A clamping apparatus comprises a base plate and integral thereto, a fixed clamping jaw and a pivotal support. A movable clamping jaw opposes the fixed clamping jaw and is pivotally engaged with the pivotal support, thereby being rotatable between an open jaw attitude and a closed jaw attitude. A motion inhibitor prevents a workpiece from pressing against the movable clamping jaw. An actuation lever enables moving the movable clamping jaw from the closed jaw attitude to the open jaw attitude and an actuation finger is positioned for receiving contact with the workpiece for moving the movable clamping jaw from the open jaw attitude to the closed jaw attitude. A bias spring is engaged with the movable clamping jaw and enabled for inhibiting motion of the movable clamping jaw from both the open and closed jaw attitudes.

Abstract: Disclosed is a securing device for personal pagers consisting of a plastic holster-type device that includes interchangeable securing means for attaching it to the clothes of the user. The present invention includes a conventional belt clip for attaching to belts and the like as well as a locking straight pin, either of which can be used at any one given time. The incorporation of the pin allows the user to attach the pager to virtually any article of clothing in a secure manner in a situation where the belt clip would be insufficient.

Abstract: The invention in the simplest form is an adjustable roll carrier luggage unit that can be used to transport bulky items safely and securely. The unit is a flat piece of material that is outfitted with end flaps and carrying straps and having a securing means such as hook and loop (e.g.: Velcro®) to secure an item rolled inside the carrier. The material is laid flat and the item to be carried, such as a tube, flat or rolled document, flat or rolled artwork, flat or rolled blueprints, flat or rolled nautical charts, clothing, food, or sport equipment is wrapped within the material and the securing means secures the rolled carrier. The roll carrier can be carried over the shoulder or by hand using convenient adjustable shoulder strap or handles. Support materials, e.g. foam core, wooded batten or dowel, can be inserted within the interior face of the material for additional rigidity and support during transport.

When the tool is removed from the clamping device the it is automatically unclamped. When the tool is placed into the clamping device it is automatically clamped in place.

Abstract: Apparatus for assisting a firefighter in descending from an elevated position comprises a bag having a permanently closed end and an open end selectively secured by a pair of snaps. A length of rope has one end secured to a first loop permanently attached to the inside of the bag at the permanently closed end and the other end secured to a carabineer. A second loop has opposite ends affixed in spaced relation to the exterior of the bag at the permanently closed end. The bag, with the rope and carabineer disposed therein, may be carried on a harness worn by the firefighter by passing the second loop around an exposed portion of the harness and passing the bag through the loop. Alternatively, the bag may be carried in a bunker pants pocket of the firefighter's protective clothing with the second loop extending through the open, upper end of the pocket and draped outside thereof.

Abstract: A backsack includes a pouch with two first buckle members attached thereto. A positioning device is secured to the pouch. A shoulder strap unit includes two shoulder straps each having a second buckle member for releasably engaging with an associated first buckle member. An engaging device is mounted to the shoulder strap unit and is releasably engaged with the positioning device on the pouch, thereby releasably attach the shoulder strap unit to the pouch.

Abstract: A case for transporting and operating a mobile office system comprised of a portable computer and a portable printer. The computer and printer are separated to protect them when being transported, yet when the case is opened both computer and printer can quickly and easily be operated from within the case with minimal connecting or repositioning. Printed paper exiting a particular printer model can be accommodated by a cutout in the base of the case or a curved ramp within the case.

Abstract: A carrying bag for receiving a portable personal computer, such as a laptop computer, is configurable to be carried in a briefcase mode, a shoulder bag mode, and a backpack mode. The bag can be configured to form stable frame or platform, thereby placing a personal computer received therein into an ergonomically comfortable position for working with while sitting, standing or even walking. Accessories and appliances can be accommodated within the bag and be readily accessible when the bag is set up as a stable frame or platform.
