Abstract: A fishing accessory device that holds containers of different sizes and shapes in locations convenient for the fisherman can be removed from one mount with only an upward motion and reinstalled easily on another mount. Once mounted, the device is firmly wedged in place onto the mount. Mounts can be placed in numerous locations throughout a boat. Cavities having inwardly sloping interior walls securely hold a variety of containers that are wedged into place.

Abstract: A cover and carrier for an assembled fishing rod and reel is disclosed herein having an elongated, rigid tube enclosing the length of rod and a cushioned pouch attached to one end of the tube for housing the reel. A closure is provided for closing an opening or entrance into the pouch while a cap seals the opposite end of the tube. A compression ring or clamp secures the pouch with the tube so that the interiors of the pouch and tube are coextensive.

Abstract: An evaporation cooled worm carrier consisting of a plastic container divided into substantially equal halves that are hinged, connected and latched in a closed position in combination with ventilation evaporation slots in the container and a separate removable moisture-absorbent bait pouch into which bait is inserted so that bait pouch can be dipped into water for maintaining the bait alive and cool without the use of dirt or bedding for extended periods of time.

Abstract: A portable container for supporting and displaying fishing plugs and lures in a well organized manner consisting of a housing having a partially removed section for viewing, a telescopic cover for said housing split into two sections hinged together along a single intermediate edge which telescopally slides into the housing, the upper section having a transparent window and is capable of being folded over when the cover at the hinged part reaches the upper extremity of the housing. The bottom section slides back down over the housing while the upper section resides without the housing to form an angular support for the housing. There are securing members at the lower extremities of both the housing and telescopic cover to secure their parts while in transit.

Abstract: A belt mounted lure case for holding fishing lures and related accessories. The case is formed from a strip of flexible material which is drawn around the belt of the fisherman and tied to the leg by a cord. An internal pouch within the lure case provides a pocket for holding lures. Other lures are held by swivel elements and springs that receive the hooks of the lures.

Abstract: A tubular shaped device preferably of transparent pliable material for containing and dispensing fishing lures. One end of the device is sealed and has a pair of fins lying in mutually perpendicular planes containing the longitudinal axis of the device and an end portion perforated to permit fluid flow between the interior and exterior of the device. The other end of the device has an opening defined by a continuous rim and is provided with a cover hinged for movement between open and closed positions. The cover is also perforated and includes a lock which enables it to be releasably held in the closed position adjacent the rim.

Abstract: A fishing lure holder is specifically designed to retain trolling lures which are not in use and includes the use of a plurality of steel spring clips positioned on opposed sides of an elongated, flat aluminum plate. In this respect, the aluminum plate has one steel spring clip attached on one side by means of a rivet and washer arrangement, while two spring clips are attached to the other side of the plate, also through the use of rivets and washers. A small trolling lure may then be retained on the side of the aluminum plate having the single spring clip, while a larger trolling lure may be retained on the opposed side of the plate having the two spring clips.

Abstract: An improved fishing tackle storage apparatus having a lure mounting pad fabricated from a sheet of foamed elastomeric material adapted for detachably receiving the hook of a hook-type fishing lure and having a protective cover flap substantially resistant to hook penetration adapted to cover the lure mounting pad and associated hooks. The apparatus is made compact for transport by rolling into a cylindrical shape.

Abstract: A novel lure caddy is provided which allows for the transport, display, selection, handling and storage of fishing lures and other tackle. The lure container comprises a core, a plurality of lure compartments associated with said core, means for selectively removing a lure from said container without exposing the hooks of other lures, and means for rotatably mounting said container to a carrier. A novel snap hook is also provided.

Abstract: A fishing box is disclosed which incorporates the following built-in features: tackle box, seat, life preserver, fishing rod carrier, cooler, worm and minnow bait compartment, fish compartment, lid-table tray, a flip-out side table, a ruler for measuring the lengths of fish, a fish net holder, towel rack, and an accessory attachment for supporting an accessory such as a portable radio.

Abstract: A belt-mounted tackle carrier is an integral structure preferably comprising a body which provides both a surface and a means for mounting the construction to a belt, a fishing-rod support compartment, an elastic tool-retaining strap which is disposed about the compartment, and various bait-carrying compartments. The bait-carrying compartments may alternatively include a utility compartment having a spring-loaded lid, or a bait-jar mounting bracket, which may also have a spring-loaded cover.

Abstract: A body having a plurality of penetrable faces for insertion of one or more series of ganged hooks, a locator for the swivel of each of the ganged hooks remote from said faces, and a guide for the trace of the hooks intermediate thereof.

Abstract: A device for supporting duck decoys or the like has a base with a slot opening on one end of the base. A latch movably mounted on the base selectively opens and closes the slot at the one end of the base. Decoys having weights attached by lines are suspended from the device by opening the latch and sliding the lines into the slot from the first end. The weights rest on the upper surface of the base. Closing of the latch prevents the duck decoys from sliding off the device.
