Abstract: A material dispenser comprising a housing, a mounting for a roll of material to be dispensed, and a material level indicator, in which said mounting comprises a first support member for rotationally supporting a first side of a roll of material to be dispensed in a plane, in which said material level indicator comprises an arm rotationally mounted to said dispenser at a pivot point, said arm comprising a visual indicator member at a first end thereof and a lateral abutment axially displaced from said visual indicator member for engaging with said first side of said roll of material, in which said arm is rotatable about said pivot point between a first position in which said arm is substantially parallel with said plane and said lateral abutment traverses said plane, and a second position in which said arm is arranged at an angle to said plane, and said lateral abutment and said visual indicator member are laterally displaced.

Abstract: A tape dispenser includes a hollow body and a blade unit. The body has a frame, a blade seat and an opening. A reception portion is formed between the body and the frame so as to accommodate the tape. The opening communicates with inside of the body and the blade unit is located in the blade seat. The blade unit has a blade for cutting the tape.

Abstract: A dental floss casing includes a bobbin fixer fixing therein a bobbin around which the thread of dental floss is wound, a transparent window coupled thereto to allow the state of the bobbin fitted in the bobbin fixer to be checked, front and rear covers detachably coupled to each other, a dental floss-drawing section provided in one side of the front or rear cover such that the thread of dental floss wound around the bobbin is drawn to the outside therethrough, and a dental floss cutter provided adjacent to one side of the front or rear cover to cut the thread of dental floss that is drawn.

Abstract: A cutting structure for plastic film includes a bracket, a first roller, a second roller, a tachometer, a processor, a monitor and a cutter. The bracket includes a bottom and two sidewalls extending from the bottom along a same direction. The first roller includes a shaft fixed to the sidewalls and a sleeve rotatably sleeving on the shaft. The second roller is pivotally connected to the sidewalls. The tachometer is disposed on one end of the second roller and configured for measuring the rotation speed of the second roller. The processor is configured for reading the rotation speed and further calculating a rotation distance of the second roller. The monitor is configured for displaying the rotation distance. The cutter extends upward from the bottom for cutting the plastic film pulled from the first roller and the second roller.

Abstract: A method for the singulation of hybrid circuits from a pre-scribed plate containing hybrid circuits or made of other brittle materials. The method includes the steps of providing a platen used to support the hybrid plate and which has a surface comprised of a series of sections each angled downward from its adjacent section, aligning the plate on the platen so that the scribe lines align with the surface discontinuities at the angles between the sections, securing the plate to the platen with vacuum pressure, creating a pressure differential between a space above the plate and a space below the plate, and applying the pressure differential to sequentially break the plate along the pre-scribed lines by forcing the plate against the angles.

Abstract: The Dual Edge Ripper is a tool designed to give a hand-torn deck-led edge to photographs, art papers and writing papers. The ripper is designed to be placed on top of any paper that needs a hand-torn deckle edge wherein the edge of the paper is pulled up toward the user effecting the cut. One edge creates a slightly rough cut and the opposite side creates a rougher cut. The dual edge ripper is manufactured in 2 lengths—12? and 24?. Made from ?? clear Lucite the overall dimension is ??×4×12 or ??×4×24.

Abstract: A dispensing apparatus comprises the combination of a bandage case and a roll of bandages, the bandage case including a bottom panel and a side wall peripherally mounted integrally to the bottom panel, and a top panel extending from a tab mounted on the peripheral side wall at a living hinge adapted for folding the top panel into surface contact with a top edge of the peripheral side wall. This structure is a single molded part. The top panel is in airtight contact with the sidewall and is secured by a pin-in-hole engagement. The side wall provides a tape exit comprising a pair of side wall portions in side-by-side positions with a tape exit aperture and a tape dispensing cutoff element. The exit aperture provides flexible closure lips enabled for tape sliding contact to exclude dust from the interior of the case.

Abstract: A tape dispenser having a novel display ability. The tape dispenser of the present invention may be of a common size, shape and construction typically associated with dispensers for dispensing adhesive cellulose tapes, or may be of alternate shape. The body of the dispenser may be made of plastic or other materials and may be transparent, translucent or opaque. At least one rotatable display component, such as a wheel, is preferably located between the tape roll and an inside wall of the dispenser body. One or more graphics, such as images, wording or both, are located on the rotatable display component. The rotatable display component may be rotated, either independently or in conjunction with rotation of the tape roll, such that the graphic or graphics will periodically appear through the body of the dispenser or through an aperture or other opening located therein. One or more fixed graphics may also be affixed to the body of the dispenser.

Abstract: A braking arrangement for dispensers of continuous material particulary paper dispensers includes a first gearwheel arranged for rotation about a first axis, and second gearwheel arranged for rotation about a second axis. The second gearwheel is arranged for displacement relative to the first gearwheel such that the second axis remains parallel to the first axis. In addition, the second gearwheel is biased towards the first gearwheel to partially intermesh therewith such that a variable gap is defined between the first and second gearwheel for passage of a continuous material.

Abstract: The invention provides a longitudinally extending adhesive tape product adapted to be cut off into a plurality of tape segments by use of a transverse cutting edge. The product comprises a longitudinally extending tape wound into a roll, the tape having a first side which is adhesive free, a plurality of longitudinally separated indicia and a second side which has a corresponding plurality of longitudinally separated and transversely extending coating bands of pressure sensitive adhesive. The coating bands have leading and trailing edges and are separated by portions of the second side of the tape which are substantially adhesive free. The indicia are so located relative to the coating bands whereby when one of the indicia is aligned in a specified relation to the cutting edge and a tape segment is cut off, the cut off tape segment has a single one of the coating bands and the coating band on the cut off tape segment is located adjacent a transverse edge of the tape segment.
