  • Patent number: 11096321
Abstract: A component supply device, in which, a component storage tape is introduced to a first tape feed-out, unit through a tape introduction guiding unit, a first tape feed-out control unit controls the first tape feed-out unit to feed out the component storage tape. A first calculation unit calculates a standard tape length of the component storage tape. A second calculation unit calculates, based on the standard tape length, a target feed-out length of the component storage tape to be fed out by the second tape feed-out unit, so that a center of a leading component storage unit of the component storage tape coincides with a component extraction position. A second tape feed-out control unit controls the second tape feed-out unit so that the component storage tape is fed out based on the target feed-out length.

  • Patent number: 10429020
Abstract: A portable light bulb system includes a bulb that is removably coupled to a mounting bracket that is affixed to a support surface. The bulb includes an internal battery power supply and a LED light engine. The system also includes a wireless module communication device configured to wirelessly communicate with the bulb. The portable light bulb system is capable of being configured in a first use position where operation of the bulb provides illumination to a region proximate the mounting bracket affixed to the support surface. An operator can disconnect the bulb from the bracket and bring the bulb to a second use position where operation of the bulb provides illumination to the second region. The operator can then return the bulb to the bracket at the first use position, or bring the bulb to yet another location for illumination.

Abstract: During the process of making elastomeric laminates, elastic material is advanced and stretched in a machine direction and may be joined with one or more substrates advancing in the machine direction. During the assembly process, one-way snare apparatuses and methods may be configured to automatically isolate elastic materials that may break. The one-way snares may include a housing and a snare member movably connected with the housing, wherein the snare member is movable relative to the housing between a first position and a second position. The one-way snares are adapted to permit advancement of continuous elastic strands in a first direction through the housing when the snare members are in the first position, and to prevent an end portion a broken elastic strand from retracting in a second direction through the housing when the snare member is in the second position, wherein the second direction is opposite the first direction.

  • Patent number: 5727725
Abstract: A container for stacking continuous web, fan-fold paper and a paper guide assembly are disclosed. The container has a contoured bottom that includes an extended center section which is slopped, a toe section at the lower end of the center section, and a crest and fan-fold shelf at the upper end of the center section of the bottom of the container. The center section is slopped sufficiently to cause the sheets of the continuous web of printed paper to slide downward to the toe section of the container and thereby become aligned with the stack forming in the container. The toe is aligned with the paper guide assembly that is an abutment against which an edge of the paper stack forms. The crease in the bottom of the container causes the paper to fold to reduce the tendency of the web to bulge. The paper guide assembly guides the paper as it falls from the printer chute output into the container.

  • Patent number: 4919990
Abstract: A flexible panel or sheet adapted for installation in a printer for separating the incoming blank paper web from the outgoing printed paper web. The sheet is wide enough to span (overlap) perforations in edge areas of the paper that are used to pull the paper web through the printer. By providing a physical separation between the incoming paper and outgoing paper it becomes possible to prevent uneven paper backups, misfeeds or uneven paper movement caused by tiny slivers of paper lodging or catching in the drive perforations when the webs come into contact with each other. The separator sheet is attached to the printer by two spaced-apart straps that extend from the sheet around a pre-existing crossbar in the printer. The straps lie in the general plane of the separator sheet to minimize the sheet thickness; cutouts in corner areas of the sheet accommodate the straps. The straps are of adjustable length to permit optimum positionment of the separator sheet.

  • Patent number: 4189133
Abstract: A document stacking table is lowered in steps under electronic control as the documents accumulate. A predetermined number of documents are stacked, after which the table is lowered by a predetermined amount. An optical sensing arrangement is used to determine the effective top of the stack of documents within the limits of "light sensed" and the "absence of light". If light is sensed, the count is increased and the table lowered again; in the absence of light the count is decreased and the table is again lowered. Thus the stacking table will be lowered by a fixed amount to the level of least error.

  • Patent number: 4054235
Abstract: Apparatus to separate multiple sheet feeds from fan-fold paper being moved from an input paper stack upwardly to a print station. The separator apparatus includes a separator member, and flexible members support the separator member for swinging movement in the paper path in a position to bear against the paper as it moves from the input paper stack. The separator member has a mass so that it may selectively move or be moved by the paper and the resultant frictional engagement and impact on the paper web causes multiple sheet feeds to be separated from the web near the input paper stack.

  • Patent number: 4003510
Abstract: The wear due to the filaments on a circulating delivery belt having a surface for receiving thereon a stream of textile filaments and conveying them, for example in a false-twist texturing machine, is reduced by feeding the filaments, just prior to reaching the belt, through a thread-guide that has a reciprocating motion transverse to the filaments imparted thereto which is the resultant of two uniform components of reciprocation of different periods, so that the position of the filaments across the belt is varied in non-uniform cycles repeated in groups thereof. The thread-guide is carried by a rod in which is mounted a journal having eccentric pins at its opposite ends. A basic component of reciprocation is imparted to the rod by a track rotating eccentrically about a fixed axis and acting on one of the two pins to cause the journal and rod to reciprocate along the rod axis.
