Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to microwaveable food containers and food products for high-temperature cooking applications and related methods. In an embodiment, a disposable microwaveable food container for high-temperature cooking applications is included. The container can include an inner cup including a bottom wall, a side wall connected to the bottom wall, the side wall comprising a top, and a top seal layer in contact with the top of the side wall. The bottom wall and side wall together can define a reservoir to hold a food material. An outer cover shell can include a bottom wall, a side wall connected to the bottom wall, a top wall connected the side wall, and a support structure for supporting the inner cup. The support structure can contact the inner cup and hold it in a position with a bottom gap, a side gap, and a top gap. Other embodiments are also included herein.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods for preparing a packaged product and one or more unpackaged products for shipping. The methods may include providing a shipping container generally sized to accommodate the unpackaged product(s). The shipping container has a plurality of walls and a bottom that define an interior of the shipping container, and each of the walls has an edge that cooperate to define an open side of the shipping container. The methods may also include inserting the unpackaged product(s) into the shipping container, and attaching the shipping container to the packaged product such that a wall of the packaged product covers the open side of the shipping container.

Abstract: The present exemplary system and method relates to a feature upon the exterior of a corrugated package that allows an access secondary to the primary opening feature for the inclusion of sample materials that are added after the package has been sealed at the contents' (e.g., appliance) place of manufacture. The benefits of the invention are reduced unit operations and labor to include sample materials. Additionally, the packaging feature will deter theft of sample materials from the product to the point of sale. The theft deterrence is achieved via a tamper-evident label covering the feature after sample materials have been inserted.

Abstract: The present invention relates to material packaging made of corrugated cardboard sheet having a polygonal cross section, comprising lateral walls, a lower plane forming the bottom of the packaging, and an opposite upper plane. It comprises at least one portion (25, 26) projecting with respect to the upper plane. The bottom (30) comprises at least one surface portion (15, 16) that is cut out over a portion of the thickness of the cardboard sheet, is compressed and in the form of a non-through hollow, referred to as a hollow portion, the shape of which matches the projecting portion, in line with the latter and arranged to fit together with the projecting portion of the packaging below.

The link feature of the bottom portion is cooperable with the additional box to link the two boxes together when the additional box is placed beneath the box, or the link feature of the top portion is cooperable with the additional box to link the two boxes together when the additional box is placed on top of the box. Furthermore, at least one of the link features comprises a bendable tab.

Abstract: A box for receiving a food item is provided, and the box is usable with an additional box that is also configured to receive a food item. The box includes a bottom portion, and a top portion that is hingedly connected to the bottom portion and that forms a cover. The top portion includes a top panel and a side panel connected to the top panel, and the side panel has a bendable tab formed therein. The tab is bendable to an operative position and cooperable with the additional box to link the two boxes together when the additional box is placed on top of the box.

The inner container(s) are hingedly attached to the outer container (1) so that each inner container (10) can pivot from a closed position wherein the inner container (10) is located inside the outer container (1) to an open position wherein the inner container (10) is located substantially adjacent to the outer container (1).

Fasteners join side walls of juxtaposed boxes at intermediate heights to define short beam wall structures. A drawer retention device limits the degree of front withdrawal of each drawer so that drawers on higher courses than the ground course are protected from accidental falls. A divider system in the drawer is supported on side rail sheets that are secured by inertia hooks.

The expulsion side panel and the hold and/or pull side panel may comprise an inspection aperture surrounded by a perimetrical frame that holds the set of packages, and the frame of the expulsion side panel and the hold and/or pull side panel can be torn manually to open it.

Abstract: The fries and condiment holder is a combination of two open containers. The larger of the two open containers provides the user with a place to store a food item found at fast food restaurants such as French fries. The smaller of the two open containers is attached to the larger container by a nontoxic adhesive because the present invention makes contact with edible food. The smaller container provides the user with a place to store a condiment. The smaller container is also collapsible and can be flushed into larger container. The user obtains the present invention with the food item in the larger container and with the small container collapse. The user can choose to expand and fill the smaller container with a condiment if the user wants to dip his/her food item in the condiment.

Abstract: A multipurpose box includes a receiving case having a space therein, an auxiliary plate extended upwardly from the receiving case, and a pair of cut portions spaced apart from each other on the auxiliary plate. The multipurpose box is capable of packaging a product and concurrently having a business card, a photograph, or the like, placed therein. The multipurpose box can be reused as a frame, or to store simple things such as office supplies and/or the like at a later time.

A tear away window panel is formed on one of the side walls. The tear away window panel includes width and height defined by a perforated line of weakness extending across the width and on a portion of height of the side walls. A displayable insert tray is configured to be disposed into the interior space of the container to receive products and concealed therein when the container is in a shipping position. The displayable insert tray includes a bottom panel and at least one feeder ledge foldably joined to the bottom panel wherein upon removing the tear away window panel and pulling away the feeder ledge, the container is converted to a display position to expose the products.

The container also contains a releasably sealable opening that maybe sealed by a number of different methods and mechanisms. When the container is open, the user may add a topping, and then seal and shake the container in order to distribute the flavoring agent. Additionally, the user may seal the container, thereby trapping heat so as to maintain an elevated temperature for the popcorn. The resealable opening will also prevent accidental spillage of the popcorn. A fill line is located on the interior of the container in order to allow the user to know how much popcorn to put into the container such that it can still be easily closed.

Abstract: A gum packaging design that utilizes two separate compartments, an upper compartment and a lower compartment. Each of the compartments may be formed from a separate paperboard blank. The blanks are folded to form the compartments and then the lower compartment is adhered to the upper compartment in a fashion that allows the lower compartment to be later separated therefrom by tearing along a perforation after the lower compartment is emptied. A cover flap on the upper compartment can be used to hold the package in a compact, closed position by folding the compartments to face each other and tucking an end into a receiving slot formed in the back panel of the lower compartment. Once the lower compartment is separated from the upper compartment, the same cover flap can be used to close the remaining package by tucking the same end of the cover flap into a receiving slot formed in a front panel of the upper compartment.

The container has a base panel, opposed first and second side panels and an end panel. A container-locating aperture is located adjacent the second side panel and is formed on the end panel, together with a tab-locating aperture that is located adjacent the first side panel. The reinforcing bars may have a U-, H- and/or W-configuration. The profiles enable the stacking height of the containers to be increased, and also serve to interconnect adjacent containers.

The extension box (12) includes at least two stabilizing tabs (16, 17). The stabilizing tabs (16, 17) extend from a connecting side (32) of the extension box (12) which is adapted to abut a side of the primary box (11) when the boxes are in the connected position. The stabilizing tabs (16, 17) function to stabilize the extension box (12) from lateral movement with respect to the primary box (11).

Abstract: A food container, such as a scoop formed of lightweight paperboard, has a slit (or slot) extending in substantially a straight line across a front panel thereof for receiving a flange of a condiment container such as a cup covered by a lid. The condiment container may be securely attached the food container by inserting the flange in to the slit, from the outside of the food container, sufficiently that at least one locking feature on the flange becomes disposed within the food container. At least one locking feature is formed on a surface of the flange. The locking feature is tapered from a leading edge to a trailing edge thereof, and has a thickness (t2) at its trailing edge which is substantially greater, such as five to ten times greater, than its thickness (t1) at the leading edge thereof The locking feature can be in the geometric form of a triangle, having an apex oriented towards a leading edge of the flange.

The carton has a bottom panel closure comprising a triangular center foldable tab securable by the bottom panel closure which provides a balanced structure which is rigid and stands secure on a shelf and is printed on only a single side.

Abstract: A multi-purpose package assembly includes a plurality of containers each having an inner space for receiving a variety of things, a connecting member for connecting each of the neighboring containers such that the containers can be bi-directionally bent toward each other, and a display member formed at each of the containers to display the things placed on the inner space of the container such that the things can be partially exposed to external viewers. The container is produced at a developed state such that the developed product can be folded up for storing purpose and also unfolded to be made into a box shape to function as the container.
