The securing apparatus includes at least one anchor extending from the main body that is configured to engage with the corner portion of the object such that the securing apparatus may be removably coupled thereto. The main body of the securing apparatus may include eyelets configured to receive a length of filament such that multiple objects may be secured to one another during packaging and shipping. Additionally, the securing apparatus may also include a projecting finger that is configured to retain a length of filament that may be used to attach the object more securely to a pallet or other structure for shipping.

Abstract: A substantially cuboid reclosable flexible package (8) for transporting multiple personal hygiene absorbent articles “on-the-go” is disclosed. It has a front wall (81), a rear wall (82), two opposed side walls (83,83) and two opposed end walls (84,84?). It includes a stack of at least two personal hygiene absorbent articles (1,100) comprising a garment attachment adhesive covered by a removable release paper (2), and which are folded inwardly with the removable release paper (2) exposed. The package (8) is made of a plastic or paper wrap sealed at one position on either the front (81), the rear (82), or one of the two side walls (83,83?), and on the two end walls (84,84?). It comprises, on at least one wall, a tear-open flap (86) limited by at least one tearing line (87).

Abstract: Forming a cardboard blank includes making two score lines on a cardboard sheet to define a central sector with three portions and two lateral sectors. Four cuts are made in a direction transverse to the score lines to form in one lateral sector a first closing flap and first and second reinforcing flaps and, in the other lateral sector, a second closing flap and third and fourth reinforcing flaps. The first and second closing flaps are folded at respective score lines, and one portion folded to cover a flank of an article on another portion so the first and third reinforcing flaps project. A third portion is folded to cover another flank and an upper article face so the second and fourth reinforcing flaps project. A band folds the first two reinforcing flaps towards the first closing flap and the third and fourth reinforcing flaps towards the second closing flap.

The sidewall portion of the tray includes two side panels each including stiffening ribs extending only along a portion thereof, but not extending along an entire length thereof. The tray is configured such that, in response to a compressing force applied to the tray in a direction substantially perpendicular to the first and second side panels, the sidewall portion of the tray deflects in a direction away from the food items.

A lower base box is coupled to the handle via a strap, such that a lifting force imparted to the handle lifts the lower base box when the strap becomes taut. The vertical movement of the handle within the channel overcomes any slack in the strap such that the handle does not contact an upper vertical surface in the upper lid, but a gapless interface between the upper lid and lower base box is maintained during lifting of the packaging. The strap is detachable from the handle and from the base box, such that it may be removed in order to open packaging by lifting the lid off of the base box.

The system is strong enough not only to support the weight of the products on the trays and withstand the vibration and impact forces that can occur during shipping, but to withstand the weight of one or more units stacked on top.
