Abstract: Disclosed is a flip-lid mirror cosmetic-product packaging and method of manufacture thereof. The flip-lid mirror cosmetic-product packaging includes a base unit, a half lid, and a mirror lid. The base unit includes a tray having plurality of cosmetic products. The base unit has a first elongate side and a second elongate side. The half lid is pivotally attached to the first elongate side with an accommodation gap. The mirror lid is pivotally attached to an upper edge of the second elongate side. Furthermore, an edge of mirror lid abuts to the second elongate side, to maintain mirror lid in a tilted pivotal angle when mirror lid is in an open state. The mirror lid in its closed state lies adjacent to the tray, and is accommodated within the accommodation gap, so that the half lid in its closed state overlays an externally-facing surface of mirror lid in its closed state.

Abstract: A stabilizing belt for use by a person in need of assisted mobility or in recreation, the stabilizing belt comprising a base, a belt to secure the base to a wearer, and at least one handle attached to the base. The base may be uniquely contoured to provide support and comfort for the wearer. A harness system may be provided for added security and stability. The harness system is versatile so as to go over the shoulders or under the legs, as necessary. The belt may further comprise handle supports for reinforcement, a pad for comfort, a cover for durability, and a pocket for versatility.

Abstract: An envelope has a latching mechanism that is activated by a key to releasably secure a flap of the envelope in a closed position. The latching mechanism is located on the envelope's flap. The tip of the key fits into an aperture in the middle of the latching mechanism. Rotation of the key rotates ears on the back of the latching mechanism from a first position to a second position. In the first position, the ears align with a correspondingly-shaped opening in the front panel of the envelope, and the ears pass through the opening. Rotation to the second position rotates the ears behind the front panel such that the ears of the latching mechanism are now behind the front panel, thereby securing the opening of the envelope flap.

Abstract: A chewing gum disposal container is provided as simple, easy to use, and convenient apparatus for disposing used gum in areas where traditional methods of gum disposal are not readily available. The apparatus is provided as an envelope that forms an inner chamber. The inner chamber is utilized for receiving used chewing gum and is lined with an antimicrobial layer that reduces the transmission of infectious disease. The envelope utilizes a front section and a rear section in order to form the inner chamber. The front section provides a top flap that seals the inner chamber. Additionally the front section provides a visual identifier for distinguishing the particular apparatus.

The second fastener is connected with the housing member at a second side of the opening. A stop member prevents movement of the pulling section into the strap engagement space. An elastic strap is mounted on the casing, and is elastically stretchable to pull the lid to a closed position. Under this condition, the elastic strap passes through the strap engaging member and pulls the middle section into the strap engagement space such that the middle section defines an inverted U-shaped portion that straddles over a portion of the elastic strap in the strap engagement space and a U-shaped portion that inversely straddles over the distal free end of the strap engaging member.

The lower flap has opposite lateral portions that are disposed in an overlying manner with respect to the left and right lateral flaps in the document confining position.

Abstract: An office envelope is constructed of at least one flat sheet of stock of uniform thickness throughout folded to form overlying front and back panels and a pocket panel secured to the back panel. The panels are secured together by longitudinally extending heat seals located near the edges of the pocket panel. These edges are respectively secured to the back panel proximate the opposing side edges thereof. Also, one of the sides of the envelope is provided with an overlap margin that is also secured to the back panel. The overlap margin of the side panel may be secured to the back panel by the same seal that secures one of the sealing margins of the pocket panel to the back panel. Alternatively, separate seals may be utilized to secure the overlap margin of the side panel to the back panel and the pocket panel to the back panel by two closely spaced lines of sealing.

The inventive device includes an envelope sheet having a display region, and a plurality of flap regions located around the outer perimeter of the display region. A fold line is extended between each flap portion and the display region. The flap regions of the envelope sheet are folded along the fold lines over the inner surface of the envelope sheet such that the display region is substantially covered by flap regions. A plurality of detachably attached writing sheets for writing messages on are located on and coupled to the inner surface of the envelope sheet within the display region such that the plurality of writing sheets are substantially covered by the flap regions when the flap regions are folded over the inner surface of the envelope sheet. The outer surface of the envelope sheet has indicia and images displayed thereon located within the display region of the envelope sheet.

A small face-to-face fastener is positioned at a part of the opposite side.

Abstract: A repetitively reusable envelope closure arrangement including a pair of thin magnetic plastic patches attached by a cementing agent to at least one portion of the foldable flap of the envelope and to at least one corresponding portion of the envelope body in contact therewith such that the flap is magnetically secured in a closure position. In an alternative embodiment, finely powdered magnetic material having a high order of magnetic retentivity is magnetized in the fluid medium of a standard gum and applied to at least one of the aforementioned envelope flap and body portions and a similar mixture of low retentivity magnetic material particles in gum is applied to the corresponding mating flap or body portion to effect a magnetically secured closure.

Abstract: A reclosable package has a generally rectangular outer wrapper including a top closure formed of panels folded to one another and against a top face of the package; a flap constituting a continuation of one of the panels; and a hook-and-eye fastener having hook and eye components attachable to and separable from one another. One of the components is permanently affixed to a face of the flap and the other component is readily removably carried on the one component. After an initial opening of the package, one fastener component is transferable from the other for permanent attachment to the wrapper, and the flap may be positioned over the wrapper such that the fastener components are in alignment for engagement with one another.

Abstract: There is disclosed a security seal apparatus for securing information recorded on a recording medium such as a floppy disc or recording tape which incorporates an aperture therein. The security seal apparatus includes a circular rigid pad projecting beyond the edges of such aperture and formed centrally with a post for projecting through such aperture. The post is formed on its free extremity with an enlarged-in-diameter conical lock head having its base of a cross-section less than the cross-section of the aperture. A fastener plate is provided with a central opening having a diameter slightly less than the base of such conical lock head so that such fastener plate may be pressed onto such lock head causing the base of the conical lock to be compressed radially inwardly whereby the lock will pass through such opening and expand radially outwardly to overlie the peripheral edges of such opening and lock the fastener in position.

Abstract: An envelope is provided with a first and second button having a depending portion inserted through an opening in a flap and an adjacent body portion, respectively, which is then flattened by the application of ultrasonic energy to vibrate each button and its depending portion against an anvil, rendering each button captive on the envelope. A string is inserted through a slot or hole in the depending portion of one of the buttons and fused to the button as the depending portion is flattened. The string is used to releasably connect the buttons and thus, the envelope flap to the adjacent body portion.

Abstract: An envelope having a first tab adhered to the flap and a second tab adhered to the main body portion with means for releasably interconnecting the tabs. In one embodiment the second tab includes three elongated fingers, each integral with the tab and cut therefrom on three sides. An elongated member extends from the first tab and is releasably received under each finger. In another embodiment, the second tab includes one elongated finger integral with the tab and cut therefrom on two sides, and the first and second tabs have the same configuration which allows them to be cut from a piece of material without significant waste.
